Happy International Women's Day! 💚 A global holiday celebrated annually to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. For us at Ever Green Cloth 💚, a woman-owned business, it is very important to acknowledge and celebrate today. As a Mexican woman I have lived and experienced the struggles, inequalities, and double standards of being born, raised, and worked in Mexico. In fact, this is one of the main reasons I moved to the United States of America, to build a better, more balanced life. Although inequality exists in every country, it is more prominent in some countries than others. My mother ❤️ has been a great example of a woman that never gives us, works hard, is fair, and has a great heart. Being a widow at a very early age with the responsibility of a dental office in Mexico City, she showed me and the world that she was going to break barriers, double standards and be successful....and so she did!
