The fact that you can just walk into a Tumblr writer's ask box and basically order yourself a custom story and then get a high-quality product for FREE after a relatively short wait is WILD. Especially considering these writers have professional-level talent and by all accounts should be published and paid.

The concept is still so wonderfully novel and bizarre to me that I'm holding myself back from dropping requests in the boxes of the many amazing writers I've come across, simply because I know how much effort and time it takes to craft stories. It somehow feels wrong to just ask and take advantage of the offered generosity. 😅🙊

Let's take a moment to appreciate how GIVING the Tumblr fanfiction writer community is, because I don't think this sort of culture exists on any other social media platform. It's simply amazing.
