Got into Megaman (again), and now that I have a better feel for robotics, I tried my hand at redesigning elecman. Mixed up his Battle Network and Ariga designs. He's supposed to have some sort of electric rod on his back (can be removed), and his fingers are covered in some kind of special caps he can take off to emit electricity.

worked on Jason, tried a bunch of character portraits... Roman had some plastic surgeries to look the way he does, child him was chubby and had a uni-brow, he ended up developing an eating disorder thanks to his parents. Yay Tried to draw Harvey Dent post-accident, then redesigned Crane's face a bit, and tried to see how he would look with long ratty hair after 10 years as Scarecrow. The fella with the goatee is Connor Fitzgerald, aka June's dad. He happens to be very very close to Roman. And of course some attempts at drawing Marley during college and 10 years later, right before the Scarecrow fucks her life up.

I've watched some Justice League episodes, and by far my favorite characters are Batman and Flash (who could have guessed it). I forced myself to stop thinking about it and just draw my versions of the Justice League. I decided to give Martian Manhunter a more praying mantis look for his true form, and I tried to make Hawkgirl look like an alien bird-like species (those aren't its beaks, it's a bunch of teeth actually). Tho, for now my favorites are Clark, Bruce and Diana. The last page is a batman oc named June Fitzgerald, she's going through some stuff, and it only gets worse from there.

I tried my hand at Jason Todd, I like to think his Red Hood helmet is a customized prototype of special police gear The Wayne Foundation was financing before it was dropped due to its high cost. I was originally going to give him a biker helmet, but those things are too heavy and awkward to fight in, it's not as optimal.

These are my second and third attempts at figuring out Black Mask. Future State Harley Quinn is a big inspiration for me, adding gold to this bastard shows his dandy side, and this man's closet is full of custom suits. I like to think of him as a theater kid, someone who loves putting on a mask to switch personas. The hound mask is for when he wants to be a Party Animal at his clubs, the one with the zipper is supposed to be for negotiations, and the skull mask is for "punishing".

Tried some loose sketches for Lucifer since I wasn't all that satisfied with the last one. Still working on his design, but I'm loving the face and ribcage. Love my snake imagery. He's supposed to be the prince of Morningstar, the "pride" ring.

Also binged all the Nos 4 a2 episodes from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. I'm screaming crying throwing up from his death, but he's such an important character for me artistically, so i tried to redesign him a little, even if, to be fair, his triangle head is the best.

More content of Sylvester and her ex "soulmate" Moniz (note: this term isn't romantic in hell, they act more as ride or die buddies, or, if you're familiar with homestuck, moirails).

They used to be part of an anarchist group trying to get rid of the social and economy hierarchy, but things ended quite badly, and Sylvester is to blame for the obvious betrayal. Moniz isn't much better knowing how he himself is actually part of said hierarchy since he comes from a well off Prinmon family, nevermind how his great-great-great-great grandfather is Leviathan, the prince of Incithan (aka Envy if you want to get technical). Leviathan had a lot of redesigns, but I'm happy with the strange tentacle/serpentine/jellyfish look. It's said that, having lost his sight after falling from heaven, Lucifer removed one of his many eyes and gave it him, which now dangles above his head. It's said Lucifer can still see through it, but even Leviathan isn't sure.

Tried my hand at continuing Mammon's design, had these lying around so I decided to post them. Making him more centipede-like was the best decision I made. I doubt I ever introduced the maned wolf-inspired character, but their name is Sylvester and they end up working for him after getting caught spying on one of his lords. Good thing is, he hates said lord and would looooove to find incriminating evidence on them.

The newest episode has impacted me so much that I'm actually creating a world based on demonology and some biblical stories. Giving my own spin on it is therapeutic and helps me with my religious trauma. The show's Mammon is so shaped - I love Vivzi's spin on the sins even if it's not something I would personally design. I gotta thank Mammon for my rekindled love for demons. Now here's my rambling about personal worldbuilding:

Souls: I like to see hell less as a place for the damned, and more as a dumping ground for unwanted humans - which is useful to demon lords and Sins since human souls are very valuable. Think of it as revitalizing medicine - without heavenly light, an ex-angel grows ill, but souls work as a replacement. They're actually taxed, a demon lord has to give part of the souls he collects (usually through demonic contracts) to the Sin(s) running the ring. The souls themselves tend to be transported in "lanterns" as seen above. Lucifer: I interpret him as this elegant rotting creature - he looks like he's made of porcelain, but nowadays cracks are starting to form, and the light he emanates is dimming. Belphegor: I'm actually going for The Lanterne of Light's classification (not that I'm going to follow it sin for sin), making him the representation of Gluttony. To me he's this lover of costumed parties (think mardi gras or the Venitians masquerades) - I was inspired by Bacchus, pigs, goats and wolves (notoriously hungry creatures) - but also the barking deer. This jolly Belphegor you see here is a far cry from what he will later become.

Me suddenly rekindling my love for demons after watching Helluva Boss: Been inspired enough to do my own take of the 7 princes of hell - love the idea of creating a jester motif for Mammon - a slimy centipede, smaller than the other Sins, having accumulated so much power by manipulating others under the guise of being this harmless funny guy - mockingly called Lucifer's Fool.
