The quidditch pitch scene has been talked about, I know, but I’ve never seen anyone talk about this specific aspect. Albus was going to let Delphi torture him, we know this, and hurting Scorpius was much more frightening for him, we know this. But Albus really said “I’d rather watch the whole world burn than watch Scorpius suffer” and I feel like this is one of those classic tropes in fantasy that somehow the CC fandom let slip through the cracks whenever we talk about the play.

I wonder what happened in between the owlery scene to the quidditch pitch because Delphi gained a coat and we know Ron and Neville saw Albus and Scorpius with her partially that night "scorpius playing gooseberry" either way they're traumatised and Ron probably feels guilty later when they all figure out what's going on

Scorpius has small fear of Harry separating him and Albus again even though it wasn't their timeline's Harry but won't tell Albus about it because he knows he and Harry are doing better

Albus is still cautious about Rose during family events because while she may not have actively bullied him and Scorpius he hates that she hung out with those who did

Scorpius randomly twitches as an effect of being crucio'd and hopes Albus doesn't notice it

Albus does notice and holds his hand after it happens every time

Albus panics from seeing the quidditch pitch but tries to hide it from Scorpius because he knows Scorpius wants to watch the games

Scorpius of course notices and obviously says Albus is more important and they no longer go but do try make good memories from it to push back the bad ones
