-- I know I have been procrastinating putting this out, I've been mostly worrying if I'm going to be able to give the romance leading to the kiss good enough detail but it's worth a shot!

(Lance POV because switcharooo)

"Hey, Lance" I wasn't expecting that at all. So, today is the day before Allura's death anniversary. It's been two years, how weird, everyone who knew Allura well came the day before to just talk catch up and celebrate the life of her. We did this because it gets overwhelming trying to come to terms with that, when random strangers that never met hew were staying stuff like "She was so beautiful" "God bless that poor soul" some even cried I know they have the right to grieve just as I, but it still gets... annoying, no wrong word, angry? Yeah, angry. Because they never met her, met the wonderful, beautiful soul of hers, yet they still act like they've known her since they were kids, hell I didn't even know her since we were kids. Anyway, I rambled, I wasn't expecting him here. And honestly, I wish he wasn-

My thoughts were interrupted by a 6 foot, black haired, hunk.

"I know, you weren't expecting me, but please let me explain" Keith said sounding the most desperate, I had ever heard. I opened the door more and pointed into the room, he walked inside and I shut the door.

"I promise you, I really wanted to go to the Anniversary last year, but something came up with the blade and they needed my help really badly I promise you I wouldn't leave you hanging on purpose, and I feel really bad and you haven't really been responding to my texts so I couldn't apologize" He rambled, I could tell as soon as he finished talking he mentally sighed. I felt guilty I wasn't annoyed that he didn't go to the anniversary at least not this long, I was angry at first but I cooled down after like 2 weeks. The real problem was...

[12yo keith is standing in a walmart parking lot holding a rainbow colored balloon and other miscellaneous items]

shiro: wha- is that keith? what is he doing?

adam, deathly serious: takashi he worked super hard on this. so please just play along

shiro: what is ‘this’ supposed to be?

adam: (shhh! he’s coming over here!)

[keith nervously approaches shiro and adam]

adam: (BE. NICE.)

Request: Post S-8 where Keith is trying to convince Lance that he can honor Allura’s memory and still follow his dreams of being a fighter pilot. Also because Keith misses him and wants to kiss him

(Keith Pov) So I know canonically Adam isn't alive, but I love the adashi ship too much to pass this up.

It had been 2 years after the war... The anniversary of Allura's death. It felt weird I always pictured being in space for the rest of my life, staying in the lions, never seeing home again. Yet, I'm here on earth safe and happy I never pictured that. However, we have lost too many to not feel at least some grief. All the planets involved in the war have a day to commemorate Allura's death, for Earth its tomorrow. Each year we head to one of the original paladin's house, last year it was Corran since he had known her, her entire life. This year it's Lance. We don't talk as much now, and I still have as big of a crush on him before as I do now. Shiro, Adam, and my mom know, they all agree to just get it off my chest, and after the war I was planning to but then Allura passed. As a person who has had to grieve before I knew that Lance was in a whirl wind of emotions, and I couldn't. And honestly, I want to tell him now but, I don't think he's over Allura yet, at least not enough to have a former teammate, and friend confess his undying love for him. When I do talk to him sometimes through call occasionally in person not once has he ever talked about someone he is interested in, I know people age and change but it's been 2 years and before Allura, Lance would completely fall in love with any person he met. At this point with the chemistry Lance and Allura had I think they were actually soulmates. Now whenever I see him, I can always see his walls are up he puts on a smile clearly in pain and gives a pickup line that doesn't have that spark those lines used to have. Everyone can notice but no one has had to deal with a loss of a significant other yet. So, no one knew how to comfort him.

I was at the house of the Mcclain's there was a giant stone statue of Allura, dozens of gifts, flowers and treats lining the pillar. I was with Adam, and Shiro. We were in bright colored clothes (In this fic Allura asked that they celebrate her life not feel sad over her death) Adam knocked and Veronica answered.

"Adam, Shiro!" She smiled. And look over to me.

"Keith, it's been too long!" She yelled while hugging me. I smiled; I don't know why but Veronica specifically took a liking to me when we met. I guess everyone in the house heard because they came running outside and started yelling and hugging everyone, Lance wasn't there, was my first thought but then everyone kept on talking. Turns out we were the first people there.

"Oh yeah! Lance is up there Keith" Lance's mom explained pointing up the house. I nodded and started walking up the stairs. Found the door and knocked. I heard something shuffle around and the door creaked open. And saw Lance, a Lance that had been clearly crying.

"Keith?" He smiled, looking a little surprised. I could understand why though, last year there was an emergency with The Blade of Marmora which is now a relief organization. So, I couldn't go there I felt horrible, and I couldn't explain the situation because it was an under the wraps plan.

I smiled "Hey, Lance."

I'm sorry I'm going to make it a 2-part project because I was losing interest, and I'm honestly loving this one-shot, that I couldn't just do a horrible job on the rest I should get it out tomorrow. I'm so sorry but I hope you have a great day/night!

Btw, this was the inspiration for the written version of this comic not mine full creds to the artist. Also, this is in Keiths pov because I personally think I write a lot better in his pov. Keith and Lance already have an established relationship.

Why do things always happen on days I wish they didn't, so explanation as to why we are currently stuck in space waiting for Corran and the princess to come back. It's gonna be a long story so grab your popcorn. it had been right after another day of being the paladins of Voltron/beating galra ass and we were all tired. The luck was I had been training peacefully before going to bed, the entire castle was silent, personally I loved it, I ended up walking back to my room in pure silent bliss. And as soon as my head hit that pillow. No more silent bliss just an excessive amount of beeping and red lights flashing, I ended up going to the control room to find everyone there, except for Allura and Corran who were still miraculously asleep. Which is even more surprising when Lance is awake. Anyways, pidge started to assess and talk about the situation, explaining how we all needed to go out and fix the problem together due to how large the scale of this damage is. Another annoying factor is that we couldn't be in our lions which wasn't helpful. So, we exited the ship and went to the area where the supposed problem was just to find nothing! And the ship went speeding off, turns out a smuggler stowed away when we left the planet, and no one noticed due to the exhaustion from said battle. At this point I was just fed up and tired. Cue comic to come in.

I hoped you liked this little fluff crack one-shot; also, can we agree that it was so annoying how Shiro, the only canonically gay character in the shows, love interests and relationships completely got brushed to the side, like Adam was there for an episode and I already loved his character. And then Curtis like we love Curtis, but he wasn't really talked about so I can't really make a one-shot about it. And their marriage was also completely left to ponder about, also, I feel like if the show kept on going after the lions left, Klance would turn cannon cause I feel like Keith would visit Lance a lot when he didn't go back to the program. Anyways bye!!!

Request Guidelines

OPEN FOR REQUESTS

So, I am open for request. My goal on Tumblr is to get used to writing everyday so I will be checking my inbox pretty much constantly. So, not all of my works and one shots will be requests. Yeah, here are the guidelines.

(Btw these are all shows and anime's I am caught up in, I watch anime so I don't really read the manga and some of these anime's never got a 2nd season)

I am willing to do blue period, Voltron, Kami-sama kiss (only 1st season don't have access to the 2nd season,) Atla, Mha, and Sk8 the infinity.

I personally find a lot of comfort in Xreaders, however, I don't think I can do these characters Justice. The ships I think I can do the best are--

Kiribaku, Klance, Adashi, Nanami x Tomoe, Renga, and Matchablossom. However, most ships will work.

I am willing to write fluff, romance, maybe a little angst (though I don't think I can do it well), along with not extreme hardcore torture, I think you can through in some arguments as well, though, for that I am going to need some detail as to what their arguing about.

I am NOT willing to write smut, incest, pedophilia, rape. I think that covers it all, but if you do give a request that I don't feel comfortable writing that I didn't put into these guide lines I am extremely sorry.
