Game Night (2022)

Back in the day, circa November 2017, I only had a single OC, Skip. Almost five years later and the crew has grown a lot... friends, rivals, partners. I thought it was really sweet to look back on and see how far he and I have come.

Time to Catch Up! - Annie The Cat

A resident from a tiny village tucked away in the corners of the Nova Islands, Annie lives for science. Her curiosity drives her forwards, backwards and all around her world, always seeking to fulfill that desire to learn and understand the oddities of the island she inhabits.

Her experiments, however, tend to go haywire and land her back at square one. Her stubbornness not letting her rest until it works, and to avoid her anxieties from boiling over.

During the tale of Crystal Crash, she temporarily moves to the mysterious village of Sinopa, a mining community that has encountered seemingly magical crystals capable of incredible feats. She sets out to study them thoroughly, while being regularly mistreated by the villagers as an outsider.

However, while experimenting on an elemental crystal, an accident occurs that causes Annie to inherit the powers of said crystal - a curse, as she describes. Although not soon after she learns of a clumsy red fox setting off to face the probable root of all this chaos. With a clear objective in mind to cure herself from this "curse" and a target to follow, Annie gives chase.

Time to Catch Up! - Jana The Fox

Feisty, ain't she?

Not much is known about Jana's past, as it is a mystery to her as well. Being an orphan, she was taken under the wing of an old man in the village of Sinopa, and developed a rebellious, slightly cocky personality. As such, her caretaker sought to discipline her, teaching her self-defense so she could back up the words she spat out.

However, underneath that façade of confidence and ego, Jana is always second-guessing herself, worried that her attitude will push everyone she cares for away. She seeks to find anything about her past, namely her mother.

During the tale of Crystal Crash, Jana grows to resent certain members of the village due to them treating her as an outsider. As such, she rebels against those people in her own way - taking the fall for someone else who they were also hounding. No longer home, but no longer chained, she decides to explore her surroundings and hone her skills. Her only companion being the crystal bracelets she took before leaving... At least, for now.
