No more shipping wars, because Astarion needs therapy.

You're all gonna get me for this, but Astarion and Gale do make more sense than Astarion and Wyll.

Gale is fundamentally a good man, but like Shadowheart, he can be ruthlessly pragmatic. I can see him looking the other way when Astarion does something cruel if the situation called for it.

I can't see Wyll being OK with some of the things Astarion would be willing to do though. If the game was REAL, it would have Wyll leave the party as soon as you allow Astarion to ascend.

Wyll ultimately would do better with Halsin, Karlach, and/or Gale.

I also think Astarion is best as a platonic friend, and I really love how the game allows you to actually set those terms with him.
