Outdated, glitchy cutie

Protect Humanity but still Sapient

A little sad that these tropes have rarely ever interact

My stylus is broken, so I thought putting my OCs onto Unknownspy's free bases that they just put out would be easy enough to do with my fingers.

This is Quartermaster (Blue, They/Them), Darien (Orange, He/Him), and Bit (Green, They/Them)

The fact that Pokemon: Masters does not yet contain a scene of Irida and/or Volo meeting modern Ingo and Emmet is just incredibly disappointing.

Irida thinks "Oh, another lookalike, two of them! Even their coats are so similar" But nope, that's Ingo. The time-fuckery that's involved in this meeting screws with her head a bit, especially considering she's the Pearl Clan leader.

Volo just thinks it's hilarious. Maybe tries to get all buddy-buddy with the twins to see if the subconscious memory of being friends could influence Ingo's behavior within Volo's past/Ingo's future.

After the twins lost a bet with Gym Leader and Model Elesa, the Battle Subway had a rather... odd advertisement campaign. Although these mascots were cute enough to stick around, all other media related to this campaign was lost.

My take? There's already protocol on what to do when a Fairy shows up on your doorstep. Don't give them your name, be polite, and pay close attention to potential double meanings in the conversation.

A walrus? All I know is that if it wants to kill me, I have very few tools to stop it.

I can collect myself and behave normally for a fairy. I would loose my shit at the sight of a walrus.

Another thought: When Pokemon Twitter said the game would be entirely contained within Lumiose City, and I looked back at that really expansive and complex-looking map within the trailer... I imagined a city at the size and scale of the original few Assassin's Creed games, y'know? Super interested to see how they make this work, in either time-period.

Imagine if Pokemon live wild through the cityscape, or imagine giant "Safari Zones", or both! Maybe that's what those big circles are... (never played X and Y tho, so I could easily be wrong on that)

On one hand, the Renovation of Paris took place in the 1870's, which is likely being referenced by the "Urban Redevelopment of Lumiose City" in the trailer.

On the other hand, Legends: Arceus was historical, Scarlet/Violet was historical and futuristic, so making Legends: Z-A futuristic would make for a very fun sequence of games.

Either way, I'm excited. I don't think I'd be too disappointed by either option, despite my personal preference for Sci-fi media.
