I wrote this for English in grade 11
I got 100% on it. In other words, I peaked at 16.
A dark chamber is where they were held, after being purchased and transported to the buyer's location. All was quiet until that fateful day when five were plucked from the group to be transformed. Before they could be used, they first had to bathe to be rid of all the disease that could be on their surfaces. Once cleansed, they were laid down on the table where they were stripped of their outer layer, and their eyes gouged out with malice and disregard for their welfare. The five were then carelessly dropped into a cauldron filled with scalding liquid, where they began to soften from the outside in. Soon after, the liquid was drained away, leaving them alone in the cauldron, giving them a false sense of security. Suddenly, a downpour of a cool white solution covered them, leaving them utterly shocked and afraid of what may come next. A solid mass dropped upon them next, along with a shower of a crystalline substance. Just when they thought the tormenting was over, a metal instrument came crashing down, crushing their lifeless hulls. The instrument continued mashing their bodies until there were no lumps left. They were then scooped from the cauldron and placed into a bowl, where they were set on a beautifully set table. The guests sat down, eyeing up their bowl. Each guest passed the bowl to the next and took a scoop, the five turned into four, then three, then two, then none were left in the bowl. After being slathered with gravy, the guests dived into the beautifully prepared mashed potatoes.
