Norman Osborn & Daughter reader: He Loses His Temper in an Argument About Peter (Spider-Man 2002)
A/N: Hey guys. Yes, I’m still alive. I’m sorry I haven’t written a one shot in awhile. Things have been really hectic and I moved into my own place. I haven’t had much time to write, but I thought I would write this brief one shot. In this one shot, Norman and the reader get into an argument about her hanging out with Peter after being told that she (and Harry) aren’t allowed to. This is sometime after his Goblin transformation, where he’s fighting his darker half. If you read closely during the argument, the Goblin briefly comes out. Harry intervenes before things get too intense. Warnings: Norman loses his temper, the Goblin comes out and starts to become violent, but Harry intervenes. References to Norman being abused (not sure if it’s canon), ect. I hope you like it 🙂
You and Harry had just gotten back from visiting Peter. Ever since Norman’s odd behavior at Thanksgiving dinner, he told both of you that you weren’t allowed to see Peter. He said it was for your own safety. He said he didn’t know what would happen if you were out with him. It made no sense, but he genuinely seemed to be afraid that something might happen. Of course that didn’t stop the two of you from hanging out with Peter. You were about to go upstairs when the living room light turned on.
”And just where have you two been?” Neither of you said anything and you knew you’d been caught. “Well?” You still didn’t answer. “Were you seeing Peter after I told you not to?” Harry spoke up first. “Dad, Pete is our friend. Why is hanging out with him a problem now?” Norman took a deep breath. “I told you to stay away from him for your own safety.” “Dad, Peter isn’t dangerous. We’ve been friends with him since we were kids. You can’t expect us not to hang out with him just because there’s danger in the world.” You were a little more assertive than Harry. You usually had to stand your ground, so giving pushback to others wasn’t new to you, and giving pushback to your father was no exception.
Norman was trying very hard to keep it together. Fighting his darker half was becoming much more difficult. There they go again, Norman. You’ve asked them not to see Parker in an effort to protect them. They disobeyed you. They walk all over you. They cross you at every turn. It’s a problem that needs to be corrected. Don’t be a coward. Let me take over. Let me show them what happens when they don’t listen to your warnings. The Goblin cackled as Norman struggled internally. “Dad, we’re going to keep seeing Peter.” You said, once again being insistent. “No you won’t. I said you can’t see him anymore. It’s too dangerous, and that’s final!” You rolled your eyes. “He’s our friend, not yours. We’re not going to not see him just because you’re afraid something might happen! Come on, Harry.”
That was when Norman snapped. “Don’t you dare walk away from me! This conversation isn’t over!” For some reason, his voice was different. He didn’t sound like himself at all. He grabbed your arm from behind and pulled you back. His grip was so firm, it hurt. “Ow! What are you doing? Dad, stop! You’re hurting me!” His grip wasn’t loosening. Harry saw Norman’s other hand raise up. “Dad, no!” Harry rushed over and stopped Norman’s left hand from making contact with you. Norman snapped out of it and quickly let go of your arm. He seemed like he didn’t know what just happened. He saw you rubbing your arm, and was horrified. “Oh no, Y\N. Baby, I’m so sorry. I didn’t…” “Leave me alone!” You ran upstairs to your room and slammed the door shut.
Harry went over to Norman. “Dad, what just happened? What was that? You’ve never done that before. What’s going on? You haven’t been yourself lately. Is it stress at work?” Norman took a breath. “I don’t…I don’t know, son. I can’t believe I almost hit your sister. I would never lay a hand on either of you. I swore I wouldn’t! I need to talk to Y/N.” Harry nodded and went upstairs. Norman went upstairs to your room. He knocked on your door and opened it. “Hi, honey. Got a minute?” You shrugged. “It’s your house.”
Norman sat behind you on the bed and pulled you close to him. You tensed up. He could tell you were afraid and it felt like someone punched him in the gut. “We really need to talk about what happened. I lost my temper. It seemed like no matter what, I did, I still somewhat ended up turning into him. Your grandfather. Sometimes he would lose his temper and hit me. Sometimes for no reason.” “Grandpa hit you?” Norman nodded. “I swore I would never lay a hand on you or Harry and I almost…” Norman was struggling to keep it together. “Sometimes, I’m not myself. You can’t tell anyone about what I’m about to tell you, not even Harry.” “But why?” “Shhh. Just let me tell you, okay? One night at Oscorp, I tested an experimental formula on myself to keep receiving funding for projects. Since then, this other personality has been taking over and doing terrible things that I have no control or memory of. That’s why I wanted you and Harry to stay away from Peter. I noticed in the papers about the Green Goblin’s attack that Peter was there. I’m worried if you hang out with Peter, the Goblin will attack both of you. I couldn’t live with myself if that happened.”
You swallowed thickly. “So you’re saying it wasn’t you lashing out and squeezing my arm? It was the other personality?” “Yes. That’s why I need you and Harry to stay put until I come up with a cure, okay honey?” Norman cupped your face and kissed your forehead. “I’ll be back soon, I promise.” He left in a hurry. You were more scared for him than angry now, but the sooner he got rid of the Green Goblin, the better.

Thoughts about Norman and Harry Osborn's Relationship in Spider-Man 2002
Hey guys. I know it's been a long time since I made a post. I really should do better. I thought I would make another meta post about the Spider-Man 2002 movie. This time, I thought I'd share my thoughts on Norman's relationship with his son Harry.
We don't get to see much of their relationship on screen, but we can tell it's strained. We know that Norman is a workaholic and was not around much while Harry was growing up. And while we don't know for sure what happened to Emily, Norman's wife, it might be safe to assume that she passed away when Harry was young, which drove Norman to become even more of a workaholic than he already was.
We know from the scene where Norman drops Harry off for a field trip, that Harry doesn't want to be seen differently by the other kids. Norman mentioned that up until going to the same school as Peter, Harry flunked out of every private school Norman sent him to. We can tell that Norman places a lot of high expectations on Harry, and he's disappointed by Harry's poor performance in school. I've wondered if Harry might have ADHD and had a really hard time at those pretigious private schools. I think he might've felt a lot of pressure in that type of educational setting and probably didn't fit in with the other kids. He didn't seem to like being in those schools. But he went along with it because he wanted to make Norman happy.
I think Harry knew he'd have to put so much effort into things the other kids did so easily and it made him feel very discouraged. In addition to the high expectations placed on him by Norman, he felt like nothing he did would ever be good enough for Norman. I do think Norman had good inentions. He only wanted Harry to have the best education possible, but he doesn't realize that he can come off as harsh. And if Harry does have ADHD and Norman doesn't know, he wouldn't be aware that Harry is putting all his effort into everything he does which makes Norman's criticisms even more hurtful.
When Harry tells Norman those schools weren't for him, I think he was trying to tell Norman he only went along with it to make Norman happy. But Norman genuinely thinks those schools were good oppertunities for Harry. Norman tells Harry not to be ashamed of who he is, but Harry doesn't want to be seen as the uppity rich kid by the other kids. Just when Harry is about to open up to Norman about something, he stops. It was likely because he thought Norman wouldn't understand.
I think Peter helped Harry with his homework a lot and helped him get through high school in general. Peter was probably one of the few people who didn't judge Harry throughout both of their lives. A few other things that made me wonder if Harry might have ADHD were when Norman had to bring Harry his backpack because he left it in the car. Or the fact that Norman would make surprise visits to Harry and Peter's apartment to inspect it to make sure it wasn't getting too messy.
While their relationship is strained and Norman's comments or critiscisms can come off as hurtful to Harry, I don't think he meant to hurt him. Ultimately, I think Norman does love Harry and wants the best for him. It's too bad we don't get to see more of their relationship on screen or allusions to what Harry's life was like growing up. I think it would've been nice to have a little more context.

Headcanons about Norman Osborn and Mendel Stromm Working Together (Spider-Man 2002)
A/N: Hey guys. I’m sorry it’s been so long since I posted anything. If you remember, I mentioned awhile ago that I was working on more posts about Norman Osborn. This is actually an idea someone asked me to write about. It’s a short headcanon about what it was like for Norman and Mendel Stromm to work together. I hope you like it 🙂
Sometimes it could be difficult for Doctor Stromm to work with Norman. Without realizing it, sometimes Norman was so determined for his projects to work, it was very demanding for Doctor Stromm especially when the general from the military would ask for results about his projects.
Neither of them liked the general, they didn’t care for how the man demanded information about their projects. Just because the military was providing their funding, it didn’t mean the two scientists and their colleagues deserved to be in constant fear of losing funding and their jobs.
Doctor Stromm always worked very diligently on research and developing technologies for the military. Norman admired that about him. Mendel also had to be Norman’s voice of reason at times, talking him out of ending up in a bad situation. Most of the time it worked.
But it unfortunately didn’t work with the new performance enchantment formula they were working on. Norman was worried about losing funding, and he became frustrated when Mendel told the general they would need to go back to the drawing board. They had been working on that formula for months.
“Mendel, I don’t understand why your so concerned about one test going wrong. The others had no negative side effects, and rest of the staff agree it’s safe for human testing.” “Norman, you know how negatively those mice reacted. Think of what might happen if we allow it to be tested on human beings. If a person became that violent and harmed someone, it would mean the end of Oscorp, we would lose our licenses, and never be able to work in science again! We would lose everything we worked for, and be doing the exact opposite of the oath we took. We just can’t take that risk.” “You’re right. That’s why I’m going to test it on myself.”
Mendel tried to talk Norman out of it. But no matter what he said, Norman was determined to do anything he could to continue receiving the military’s funding, even if it killed him. While Norman survived, it cost Mendel his life.

Headcanons about Emily Osborn (Sam Raimi Spider-Man)
A/N: Hey guys. I’m still working on some more Norman Osborn one shots. Someone was nice enough to give me some ideas, so I’ll be working on those too. But I wanted to make some headcanons for Norman’s wife in the Raimi movies. I know she wasn’t named in the movies, but I know in the comics she was named Emily, so that’s the name I’ve decided to go with. Also, I don’t know much about their relationship in the comics. I just know Norman had a wife named Emily. Please be nice. My headcanons will probably be different from the movie. Warnings: Mentions of grief and death from a degenerative disease. I hope you like it :)
Norman and Emily met in college. They dated and got married soon after graduating. While Emily didn’t have as much of an interest in science, she was very creative and loved to paint. Norman dearly loved Emily. Norman was very fixated on his company. He often told emily that he felt he wasn’t doing enough to make her happy. She would quickly dismiss that idea. She would often reassure him by saying things like, “I married you for who you are, not for money.” and, “Norman, you’re one man. You can’t do everything by yourself. You’re working too hard. Your shoulders have so many knots. You need to take a break and relax.” Norman always appreciated that Emily cared for his well-being. They took weekend trips together a lot. It was a nice way for Norman to get away from everything.
When Harry was born, Norman was thrilled to have a family. His workaholic tendencies became more apparent. Norman now had a family to provide for. He became more fixated on running his company and bringing home as much money as possible. Emily often had to remind Norman that while she appreciated Norman doing his best, he also needed to be home. And he was. He worked remotely which did seem to help make things less stressful. Once he got his immediate work done, he was able to spend more time with Emily and Harry.
A few years later, Emily became ill. She was diagnosed with a degenerative disease. Her health declined rapidly. There were times she was too exhausted to do anything. She was in bed for weeks at a time. Norman took more time off from work to tend to her care. Doctors didn’t have the best resources to treat her. They said her condition was rare and there wasn’t a lot of research. Norman put a chunk of his trust fund into research and paying for her care, but unfortunately despite having the best medical care money could by, Emily passed away.
Norman was devistated. He buried himself in his work to cope with his grief. He became more ambitous than he was before, and he became a very successful and powerful businessman. But it cost him his relationship with Harry. Harry doesn’t have many memories of his mother, but he does remember that she did love him. The portrait of her in the living room gives him comfort and makes him feel safe because it makes it seem like she’s there with him.

Would Anyone be interested in more Norman Osborn one shots?
Hey guys. It’s been awhile since I posted, I know. I’ve been hesitant to post the one shot ideas I’ve had because I’m having trouble putting them together. I do eventually plan to write them. I still really like the idea of Harry having a sister so some of them will involve that. I might also put some of my ideas or references about Harry’s mom into them depending on the one shot. I’m not entirely sure how all my ideas will play out yet.  Also, do you have any ideas? Would you like me to write something in particular? I could use some inspiration. I’m open to requests :)

My Thoughts about the Green Goblin beating up Peter in Spider-Man 2002
Hey guys. It’s been awhile since I made a post. I am indeed, alive. Anyway, I wanted to make a brief post about a scene from the Spider-Man 2 movie that’s been on my mind. It’s the scene near the end of the movie when the Green Goblin brutally beats up Peter.
For the longest time, I always thought the Goblin was angry at Peter for refusing to choose between saving MJ or the kids, thus not succeeding in breaking him. But I think there’s a lot more to it. I’ve mentioned that the Goblin is the manifestation of Norman’s darkest impulses. He represents Norman’s greed, inner feelings of anger toward people who wronged him, anger over being rejected, and betrayed. And when Peter rejects the Goblin’s offer to join him, it angers him. And when Norman finds out that Peter is Spider-Man, the Goblin tells him Peter must be punished.
The Goblin takes control and goes after everyone Peter cares about in an effort to break him. But it doesn’t work. When the people of New York help him, Peter is able to save MJ and the kids. The Goblin is infuriated that Peter didn’t make the choice he wanted him to make. He’s also angry over the fact that he was wrong about the people of New York turning against Peter. So the Goblin proceeds to take him away from the crowd and mercilessly beat him. All the Goblin wants to do is hurt Peter. That’s my interpretation, but what do you think?

Things I’ve noticed about Norman Osborn and the Green Goblin in Spider-Man: No Way Home
Hey guys. It’s been about a year since Spider-Man: No way Home came out. I’ve watched it several times and I’ve noticed some things I didn’t pick up on the first time and I wanted to talk about them.
I’m not entirely sure how far along the Goblin was in terms of taking full control of Norman but I’m willing to bet he was pretty close to taking full control when he came to the MCU and he was smart enough to know he was in a different universe. Norman looks scared and confused, not knowing why things are different. But the Goblin knows what’s going on and starts taunting him. “Coward. We have a new world to conquer. You make me sick, hiding from who you truly are.” Norman begs the Goblin to leave him alone. It’s a nice reference to how the Goblin only cares about power and if given the opportunity, he might try to conquer the multiverse.
In a way, I feel even more sympathy for Norman. He was sympathetic in the 2002 movie, but I feel like we don’t get to see how terrified of the Goblin he is aside from when he backs away from him in the mirror scene. In No Way Home, we get to see how scared Norman is. When he’s at the shelter with May, he explains that there are times when he’s not himself. He knows when the Goblin takes control he does terrible things. Norman can’t remember what happens and he has no control over what the Goblin says or does. He knows the Goblin could take full control at any moment and he’s afraid the Goblin won’t let him regain control ever again. I think that’s why he sought out Spider-Man. He wanted his help to be free from the Goblin. The heartbroken look on his face when he realizes the things he knows don’t exist in this universe and especially when he mentions Harry are fantastic because it shows that Norman does love Harry. He feels so lost and I can’t help but feel sorry for him.
I also think it’s nice that Norman likes Tom!Peter because it hints that Norman might like every version of Peter. It’s nice to see Peter and Norman working on a new microchip to cure Otto. It also makes me sad because it’s only a matter of time before the Goblin takes control. Norman likes Peter and doesn’t want to hurt him. The Goblin wants to break every version of Peter, and he almost succeeded in breaking Tom!Peter. Just before the Goblin takes control, Otto talks to Norman about how happy he is that he’ll have no more darker half and he’ll be completely free and be himself again. Unfortunately the Goblin wouldn’t let that happen and he takes control. I love when it happens because Peter’s Spider Sense goes crazy to show how dangerous the Goblin is. Even Otto knew something was up because he gave a puzzled look when he saw Norman wander off.
I should probably mention I don’t ship Otto and Norman. I didn’t see anything hinting at a romantic attraction between the two men. I saw two men who have a lot of respect for each other and the fields of science they work in. It’s possible they may have worked on projects together. I saw them being good friends at best, not boyfriends. I do love Willem and Alfred’s chemistry though. It’s great seeing them together on screen. Anyway, When the Goblin takes control he mocks Otto’s concern and says the powers he and the others they’re given are gifts and it makes them gods. The Goblin shows off his god complex and I love how Willem Dafoe shifts from playing a kind, sympathetic and flawed Norman to someone as delightfully evil as the Goblin.
I think since Norman had nothing to lose in this universe and found out he would die, the Goblin was able to take full control of Norman. If it wasn’t for the cure Tobey!Peter made, the Goblin probably would’ve been in control of Norman permanently. No more Norman, or as the Goblin would say no more weakness. Tom!Peter would’ve had no choice but to kill him and the Goblin was more than fine with it. Thankfully Tobey!Peter steps in before Tom!Peter can kill the Goblin to remind him that Spider-Man doesn’t kill people, he helps them. When Tom!Peter stabs the Goblin with the anti-serum, Norman comes back. “Peter...what have I done?” And I feel sorry for him. I still can’t commend Willem’s dual acting enough. Happy one year anniversary to Spider-Man: No Way Home!

Norman Osborn & daughter reader: You can’t sleep because of the Goblin’s attack
..Summary: You have trouble sleeping after the Green Goblin’s attack on the parade. Norman notices and you have a chat with him.
A/N: Hey guys. Just a short drabble. The reader can’t sleep because of the Goblin’s attack at the parade. Norman notices she’s awake and she talks to him about it. Warnings: Mentions of violence, reader has a broken arm, The Goblin taunting Norman, ect. Let me know if I missed any warnings. I hope you like it :)
It was the night after you and Harry were brought home from the hospital. You couldn’t sleep. Every time you closed your eyes, you saw the Green Goblin. You gave up on falling asleep and watch for him from your window so you’d be ready if he came back. Norman noticed your light was still on and came in. He saw you looking outside your window. “Y/N? What are you still doing up this late?” “I can’t sleep. Every time I close my eyes, I see him. I’m watching for him so if he comes back, I’ll be prepared.” Norman looked worried and continued listening to what you had to say.
“Everything that happened yesterday...people were hurt. And he enjoyed terrorizing everyone. He hurt us, me and Harry! He broke my arm!” Norman was heartbroken. “So he did hurt more people.” He muttered to himself. The Goblin began to taunt Norman. ‘It was necessary, Osborn. She was in the way. I told you I wouldn’t let anyone get in our way, and it will teach both of your children to stay out of things that don’t concern them.’ Norman ignored him.  “So if he comes back to hurt us again, I’ll be ready. I hope someone makes him pay for what did. I would if I could.” ‘That’s our girl.’ The Goblin cackled to Norman. Norman continued to ignore him. He sat next to you on the bed. “What if he hurt you, dad? I’m actually glad you had to work. You could’ve been killed like the board members.” “But I wasn’t. I’m fine. I don’t think you’ll have to worry about him coming back.” You didn’t understand how he could be so calm.
“How do you know he won’t come back?” “Honey, if he really wanted to, he would’ve done more to hurt both of you than break your arm, or give Harry a concussion. I’m just glad you’re both okay. If I lost you and Harry, I don’t know what I would do. The important thing is we’re all safe.” You still weren’t very convinced. Norman knew how to fix that. “Let’s go into the kitchen.” You chuckled as you realized what he was hinting at. “Dad, I don’t know if it’ll work for this.” “Sure it will. It did when you were little.” You followed him into the kitchen.
You remembered when you were little. Unlike Harry, sometimes sleeping at night was a challenge for you. You had nightmares. Norman would fix it by taking you in the kitchen. He would set you down on the counter and make you a cup of hot cocoa topped with whipped cream. It was an unusual drink to have in the middle of the night, but it had a calming affect and you usually fell asleep not long after drinking it. He always worked a lot, but you enjoyed those moments you got to spend with him. Without thinking about it, you sat on top of the counter.
Norman always made the cocoa with milk, and this time was no exception. “You know, I still have that little cat mug you used to drink out of.” He got a larger cup out of the cupboard. “But I thought you might want a bigger cup.” He topped the cocoa with whipped cream. “Here. Drink that up. Don’t burn your mouth.” You carefully sipped it until it was gone. “Better?” You nodded. “Dad, are you sure we’re safe?” “If I keep watch, will it make you feel better?” Embarrassed, to ask him you didn’t say anything and he took it as a yes. “Okay. Try and get some sleep and I’ll see you tomorrow.” You said goodnight and went to bed. As you were going back to your room, the Goblin spoke to Norman again. ‘You know no one is safe from me, Osborn.’ Norman didn’t get any peace the rest of the night.

*During an argument*
Tobey!Peter: They're MY brothers, I can tell them what to do.
Otto: Erhebst du nicht deine Stimme zu mir, junger Mann.
{Don't you raising your voice at me young man.}
Norman and Tom!Peter: Oh no...
Andrew!Peter: *whispering* what? What did he say?
Tobey!Peter: I AM NOT raising my voice!
This is hilarious. I needed this tonight. I could see Otto doing something like this. I wonder what Norman would be like as an adoptive father to the three Peters?

My thoughts on the scene where Norman Osborn gets fired in Spider-Man 2002
Hey guys. Just thought I'd make a quick meta post. I might make more, but we'll see how this one goes. So I wanted to talk about the scene in Spider-Man 2002 where Norman Osborn is fired because I feel like a lot of people don't talk about Norman's reaction to being fired and what it says about him. Most people either laugh at it or are afraid of it or a mix of both because Willem Dafoe goes from calm to loosing it in two seconds. But honestly, there's more to it than an actor going ham.
When Norman shouts, "You know how much I sacrificed?!" I think it says a lot about him. He worked with the board members for a long time. He felt like he could trust them, then they bought him out and fired him. Everything he worked so hard for building that company was snatched from him. He felt betrayed. Not only that, but he knows he sacrificed his relationship with Harry, and it was all for nothing.
It also makes me think of the scene where the Goblin tells Spider-Man that no matter how many times he saves people, they'll hate him eventually. I think it's referring to this scene. The Goblin is talking about Norman's inner feelings of betrayal, greed, disappointment, and anger. Norman tried to obtain power the right way, but it amounted to nothing. So the Goblin believes Spider-Man shouldn't bother doing the right thing because he thinks the results for Spider-Man will be the same as they were for Norman. The Goblin believes in a world of winners and losers, and the only thing that matters to him is power. What do you think?

To piggyback off this post:
https://at.tumblr.com/darkshadow90/696607901079552000/6t0zg8nxxo56
I just imagine Norman going to Peter and May's house with a goddamn shotgun, and her yelling at him to "take it easy" while Norman just calmly repeats "I just want to talk to him" and Peter is just "O_o"
That's funny. I think if Norman didn't meet Peter, he'd probably react that way. I don't think he'd be happy about it at first, but he knows Peter is a good person and wouldn't just leave her, so he'd come around eventually. If it were anyone else though, yeah, he'd definitely react that way. Now, if the Goblin took over and went to their house, all Hell would break loose. Thanks for the post :)

Drunk daughter calls Otto to pick her up. He shows up and carries her to the car and
Her, slurring: D-a-d
Otto: Yes sweetheart.
Her: I think I threw up on your back, sorry
Otto: It's okey darling.
That is so funny! Honestly I can see it happening since I can't really see Otto getting upset over something that was an accident. I think he'd be more worried and want to make sure she's okay more than anything. Thanks for sending this <3

Otto Octavious & Daughter reader (request): You have a toxic boyfriend
Summary: You bring your boyfriend home, and your father, Otto, sees right through him. Unfortunately, his overprotectiveness causes you to leave for a little while. It doesn’t take long for you to find out Otto was right.
A/N: Hey guys. This is another request by @purplezombietumbler who requested a one shot in which the reader has a boyfriend. Otto knows he doesn’t have her best interests at heart and tries to warn her. Things get tense and she finds out Otto was right. Warnings: Mention of Rosie being dead, implied abuse, ect I hope you like it :)
You had been dating your boyfriend for a few months now. This isn’t the first time you brought him home. Otto didn’t like him, you knew from the way he glared at him. One night, you decided to confront him about it. “Dad, why do you have a problem with him? He hasn’t done anything wrong,” “Not yet, but he will, Y/N. I’ve seen guys like him throughout my life. Trust me when I say he doesn’t have your best interests at heart. He only cares about what you can give him. You deserve better than him.” You scoffed at him and rolled your eyes. Things had been difficult since your mother died. “I swear, no one is good enough for you. I could date a prince, and you still wouldn’t approve. I’m not a little girl anymore, Dad. Let me be happy for once.” “Darling, please--” “I’m gonna stay with him for a few days. I need some space.”
Otto was hurt by that. “Oh. Alright, then. As you said, you can handle it. I won’t interfere.” You backed your bags and prepared for the next few days. You began to notice behavioral changes in your boyfriend. He wouldn’t help you with the household chores. “I work the nightshift. You can handle the cooking and cleaning.” He would say. You had important things to do, too. One day, you went and bought yourself some new perfume. You grabbed a small bottle of cologne thinking he would appreciate the gift. Instead, he threw it away right in front of you. That really hurt, but what really became the last straw was the night he got jealous when he saw you talking to a fellow student. He became violent and shook you, threatening you. “If I see you with anyone else, I’ll bury you. You’re with me, understand?” He left for his nightshift.
Terrified, you quickly packed your stuff ran as fast as you could to Peter’s apartment. “Oh, hey Y/N. What’s up?” “Peter, I need to talk to you right now.” He could tell you were in trouble. “What happened?” “Well long story short, Dad tried to warn me and I didn’t listen. This week has been a nightmare. My very soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend just threatened me. I need to get a restraining order.” “Don’t worry. I’ll pay him a visit.” You told him where he works. “Peter, wait. I don’t have a place to go.” “Yes, you do. Go back home.” “Peter, I can’t. You know Dad loves to be right. He’ll have a field day gloating about this.” “No he won’t. I promise you he won’t do that. Now go.” You left to go back home.
When you got home, Otto answered the door. “I’m sorry about everything, you were right. He threatened me and I need to get a restraining order. Please don’t gloat.” Otto was relieved that you were safe. “Darling, why would you think I would gloat about something like this? Of course you can stay here. Even when you’re fifty, you’ll always have a home here.” You hugged him and soon after that things began to get better.

this artwork is gorgeous, but I’m not gonna lie. As someone who wanted Sigyn in the MCU since the beginning, I wish she could’ve been in this artwork. It makes me a little sad because I’m pretty sure she’ll never appear in the MCU at this point. Before you ask, no I don’t want the awful relationship that was in the comics. The MCU is different from the comics and I think having a version of Sigyn that’s supportive of Loki, but also challenges him and calls him on his shit (maybe if he tried to lie to her, she’d be smart enough to see through it and call it out), could’ve been really interesting.
this new official Loki and Sylvie concept art is STUNNING

Otto Octavious & Daughter reader (drabble request): He protects you from creeps
Summary: You’re meeting Peter in the city for an event. Otto, your father, decides to wait with you until he gets there. There’s no way he’s leaving his little girl alone in the city at night.
A/N: Hey guys. This is my first Otto Octavious request by @purplezombietumbler It’s my first time writing for Otto, so please be nice. This one shot is pretty similar to the Norman one shot/drabble, so there won’t be many changes. Warnings: Otto threatening the creeps. I hope you like it :)
You told your father you would be going into the city to meet Peter for an event. As you made it into the city, you saw your father waiting, and instantly rolled your eyes. “Dad, what are you doing here? I told you I was coming here to meet Peter. I’ll be fine. Peter will walk me home after the show. I’ll see you when I get home.” “Absolutely not. I’m not leaving you alone in this city. It’s dangerous at night.” “Okay, fine.” “Peter is a good lad. He’s incredibly smart, but I wish he would apply himself more.” “Ease up on him, Dad. He’s working multiple jobs to pay his rent, tuition, and he’s a full time student. He has a lot on his plate.” “I suppose he does. I just want him to achieve his potential, that’s all.” “I know.”
Two creeps overheard the conversation and approached you. “Sounds like your date is a real loser.” “He’s not my date, not that it’s any of your business.” They began to get a little too close to you. “Then I guess he won’t mind if you ditch him and come with us.” Before they could lead you away, two mechanical tentacles grabbed the creeps. “Gentlemen, I suggest you step away from my daughter unless you want to start a problem. I’m sure you’ll make the smart decision.”  They nodded and Otto put them down. They ran away without looking back.
You were glad he was there to protect you. Sometimes he could be a little too protective, but you knew he was looking out for your safety. When Peter got there, you said your goodbyes and went inside for the show.

Norman Osborn & Daughter reader (request drabble): He protects you from creeps
Summary: You’re meeting peter for an event and Norman notices some sketchy guys hanging around and refuses to leave you by yourself. When the two are dumb enough to mock him, a new side of his personality you haven’t seen before comes out
A/N: Hey guys. This is a short drabble requested by @purplezombietumbler They wanted a short one shot in which Norman protects his daughter from creeps. I’m also working on the same request, but for Otto protecting daughter reader. Warnings: Norman (actually it’s the Goblin if you read carefully) threatening the creeps, violence, but not too violent, just enough to scare them. I hope you like it :)
You were going into the city to meet Peter for an event. Norman had Bernard drive both of you. “Okay, we’re here. Peter said he would bring me home. I’ll see you later.” You moved to get out of the car, but your father pulled you back. “Out of the question.” You rolled your eyes. “Dad, I’m a big girl. I’ll be fine.” “I’m not leaving you alone in the city at night. I’ll wait with you until Peter gets here.”
Two guys overheard the conversation and decided to approach you. “Don’t worry about her. She’ll be safe with us. So why don’t you get back in your car and get lost, Richie Rich.” Suddenly, your father lunged at the two creeps, lifting them off the ground. He was holding one guy in each arm by the neck. You had no idea he was that strong. It scared you a little. “If you two idiots don’t get out of here right now, if you take one more step towards my daughter, I’ll crush you like a grape in the palms of my hands. Do you understand?” They nodded without hesitating, he put them down and they ran away.
This was a side of your father you had never seen before. What was going on with him? Was it stress from work? You weren’t sure, but you were quiet the whole time until Peter got there.
