Witch things to add in your room, poor person edition
Fuck it Most of witchcraft people tell you to buy shit. So here's some stuff u can do for free
grab some sticks from the ground, bind them together in a shape you like, add intent (usually protection), hang it up
make a flower crown, add protection intent, dry it out, hang it up. protection spell and real ward. regularly recharge intent.
dry plants, set warding intent, hang them up.
crushed eggshells on your window sill to prevent bad energy.
wear a bandana or veil somewhere on your body, sometimes i use mine as belts, to protect from bad vibes.
paint your nails in the color meaning you want. mine are pink for self attraction rn
when you light up a candle always ask if theres a spirit or entity there, pyromancy skills can be learned through google, tumblr, and tiktok.
Regularly clean and rearrange your altar if you can't practice everyday, this keeos the space clean and shows entities around that even if ur not active, you're still a witch
A cup of water can be an offering to anyone, imagine being an entity and you can't have water at all for centuries??
If you have glasses, draw a sigil on them while you clean them (i usually wash mine with soap and water to make it extra clean ((and dry with paper towels)))
Give your wall art jobs. Sure they can be decorative, or they can be extra eyes to watch you while you sleep to make sure no one messes with you. (Ive had so much wall art fall in the middle of the night and turns out smth was trying to get in my room...)
If you have black-out/thick curtains, let the sun in!!! I keep them tied during the day so i can use natural light and ease up my electricity bill
Change ur bedsheets semi regularly, it doesn't need to be every week, but keep in mind bedbugs and other entities can get trapped there... or even try to get there to make your sleep unrestful.
If your room is a bio-hazard, at least make pathways so you can walk without injuring yourself.
Thats all i have for now <3 blessed be and fuck capitalism

My favorite simple wards to guard the home
Hanging rosemary above the doorstep, and/or above doors of the house for protection.
Sprinkling a line of dried red pepper on a windowsill, to counter a curse.
Placing a mix of dried & ground eggshells and black pepper in every corner of a room to keep out unwanted spirits.
Placing a decoration representing a witch in the kitchen, to keep away illness and to favor health.
Crafting an effigie (no matter how crude!) and make it into the guardian of your home by charging it with your intent of protection and placing it near the front door.
Crafting small witch ladders to hang around the house.

Dismantling spell jars can be done any way preferred! First of all, if you've reached a point of feeling that you may want to dismantle a spell jar/spell jars, consider the reasons why and if these reasons are going to be beneficial to you and your journey. For instance, if the reasons may be for a temporary or short term situation you may just need to charge/cleanse your spell jars. Refer to any of my other spell jars' posts for cleansing/charging info.
Dismantling spell jars is a sad time, though it is a hopeful time of new beginnings that follows in my opinion. So if you've gotten this far, it seems perhaps that you may want to dismantle a spell jar or two, or three, or all of them, to start over, or make another if you may be feeling seasonal. It is important to gratify each spell jar as you say goodbye and part ways with them, although not forever. To dismantle a spell jar, you will have to pry each lid open, and empty all of the ingredients into the trash outside, or the trash meant for outside. Both work just fine. Gratitude, again for what these spell jars have done for you is more than significant to you and your journey, and trusting the magick of these spell jars don't stray too far; they are transmuted into the spirit with the trust of time and space and your deepest most inner heart of hearts. Practical magic works the best and goes the longest way, especially if you may be on a tight budget when it comes to finances. Once you've emptied the spell jars, toss the spell jars out too if you wish, or cleanse them and clean them out physically if you wish to reuse them for future spell jars. Once you've tossed them out, take time to mourn the physical loss of these spell jars. Lord knows we all need it. Once you feel ready to begin again, you will be.

Center, Ground, Shield Exercises
Center
Within a quiet environment meditate reflecting only on yourself. There are layers to every individual that make them who they are.
The outside layers are the things involved in your life that just slightly affect you.
These are common entities registering as minor annoyances.
Mid-layers are the issues that are more important to your life.
These range from your at-work responsibilities, and to people you like and consider close.
The innermost layers are the extremely important things.
These range from family to meaningful relationships.
The location of everyone's core is near your breastbone. This is considered to be your center. Focus on this spot for a while to make yourself aware of what makes up you. Concentrate on who you are as a person. Steady your thoughts and try to find the innermost part of you. Dwell there and find a sense of balance. Try to do this to sync yourself to who you are.
Ground
The ground absorbs energy, and with this any excess positive or negative energy can safely be transmitted to such a location.
After you are centered you need to focus on all the energy within yourself that is NOT you.
The outer and middle layers that loosely define you as an individual need to be pushed away gently from you, and any ideas or concepts you have had in life (even expectations) also need to be brushed down into the ground. Let all of this go and continue to relax and focus entirely on yourself.
I know that sometimes it is hard to let go of things that you seem to worry about, but you need to clear your energies and mind. By doing this it is letting go of all your worries and negativity within your life, and again, putting the focus entirely on to you.
This step may need to be repeated several times, until you are able to let go, focus on yourself, and find the calm and relaxation one desires.
Shield
Shields are needed to protect you and your energies from outside influences. It protects you from psychic attacks and negative energies.
You will need to be centered and grounded to achieve a proper shield.
You will need to visualize an indestructible barrier around your aura. Only you decide what comes in, and what does not.
The best way to do this is to visualize layers of what can protect you. Make sure to draw in ambient (outside) energies around you more so than within you to create a barrier shield so it may properly protect you.
Over time it will start to dissipate so repeating this step is needed when necessary. It all depends on the types of influences you let surround you.
Advanced Shields: Part 4
You will need to understand the basics to centering, grounding, and shielding first in order to attempt and accomplish these methods listed below.
Some people create constructs binding the energy to a physical set of items making a system which fuels the barrier shield so it will last longer and function more properly.
There are other individuals that only meditate and use visualization to mend any energies out of place to keep their shields in a better working progress. This method alone, however, will over time exhaust their own energies, and it is advised that replenishing those energies is needed. They should learn how to use external sources to help replenish their own energies and use them to help create a better shield system overall.

🔮Witchy Wednesday🔮
Tumblr media
Low on funds?
Brew a cup of Chamomile tea. Chamomile is an herb associated with money and wealth.
Add honey! Honey makes your intentions stick.
Stir with a cinnamon stick! Stir counterclockwise first, with the intention to remove any money blocks. Then, stir clockwise while holding the intention to grow your bank account number.
You can save the cinnamon stick for your next cup or hang above your front doorway so that money flows into your home with ease. Bonus point is that it smells good! Drink up!
Be Safe & Happy Casting 🌬🕯✨️

Everything You Need to Know About Crystals: Tiger's Eye
Tiger's Eye (The Stone of the Sun)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Color: Golden Yellow with Brown
Hardiness: 7
Rarity: Easy to Obtain
Type: Metamorphic
Chakra Association: Sacral, Solar-Plexus, Third Eye
Deities: Ra, Sekhmet, Durga
Astrological Signs: Capricorn, Leo
Element: Earth, Fire
Planet: Sun
Origin: India, Myanmar, South Africa, USA, Mexico
Powers: The Sun, Protection, Abundance, Luck, Pride, and Justice
Crystals It Works Well With: Cat’s Eye, Chalcedony, Topaz
How It is Created: Tiger’s Eye is basically a quartz but they formed in such an unusual way that the fibers of the mineral called crocidolite are laid down in parallel bands within the structure. This creates its silk like appearance and its “cat’s eye”.
History: Tombs in the ancient city of Ur in Mesopotamia (now Iraq) dating back to 2500 BCE have yielded gold sets with agates, like tiger’s eye and carnelian. The tiger’s eye was very popular due to the belief that it harnessed the power of the earth and the sun. This is why it is associated with the god of the sun, Ra and why Egyptians considered it a very valuable gem. Roman soldiers believed that the tiger’s eye was a symbol of bravery and would ride with pieces of tiger’s eye on them in order to encourage bravery during battles.
What It Can Do:
Shields the energy field or aura from negativity
Clears tension and mental blocks from the solar plexus
Can soothe, calm, and restore one’s body and mind
Banish the evil eye and curses
Attracts money while curbing impulsive spending
Used to detect liars and deceptions
Can increase confidence and pride
Placing it on your third eye can help enhance psychic abilities and balance your lower chakras
Helps unlock and unleash your true desires
Alleviates depression and lifts moods
Reduces crabbing and addictive behavior
How To Get the Best Out of Tiger’s Eye: Wear it in bracelet or amulet form.
How to Cleanse and Charge:
To cleanse: Lay it on a windowsill where the sun shines the most or bury it in your garden where the sun shines the most
To charge: You can also charge it on the windowsill with the sun. The sun really gives it a great charge, especially if one of the deities you work with is a sun god.
Crystal Grid:
Abundance (Spiral)
Base for the grid, such as wood, slate, fossilized wood, or golden card or cloth
Citrine
Goldstone
Green Aventurine
Herkimer Diamond
Jade
Moss Agate
Ruby
Tiger’s Eye
Topaz
If you’re laying a preparatory “cleansing” spiral, start at the topmost point and lay crystals alternately, with the points pointing out from the center.
Place the Goldstone in the center as the keystone.
If laying an abundance grid, begin by placing the Goldstone in the center, stating that your intention is for it to bring abundance into your life.
Lay a spiral of alternated crystals, pointing down and inward, until you reach the Goldstone.
Add a grounding stone if appropriate.
When the grid is no longer required, dismantle it.

This is your reminder to call yourself whatever the fuck you want to as someone that practices magick. As long as you aren't appropriating someones culture call yourself whatever feels right for you. You do not have to call yourself a witch if that does not feel applicable to you.

Divine Plan Affirmation
"I Trust in the Divine Plan for My Life"
This affirmation reminds us to surrender to the flow of life and trust that everything happens for our highest good. It affirms our faith in a higher power, the universe, or our inner wisdom, and helps us let go of the need to control or resist the events and people in our lives. By trusting in the divine plan, we open ourselves to new possibilities, blessings, and growth, and release the stress, fear, and doubt that hold us back. To use this affirmation, repeat it to yourself several times a day, especially when you feel unsure or anxious about the future. You can also meditate on it, visualizing yourself surrounded by light and love, and feeling confident and supported in your journey. Let this affirmation be your guiding mantra, reminding you that you are always guided, protected, and loved.

Moon Magic 101: The Power of Moon Magic in Witchcraft
Moon magic is a popular aspect of modern witchcraft, as the moon's phases are believed to have a significant impact on energy and intention. The phases of the moon - new, waxing, full, and waning - each have their own properties and correspondences that can be used in spells, rituals, and personal growth practices. In this article, we'll explore the power of moon magic in witchcraft and how to incorporate it into your practice.
The Phases of the Moon and their Correspondences
New Moon - a time for new beginnings, setting intentions, and planting seeds for the future. Corresponds with introspection, manifestation, and the color black.
Waxing Moon - a time for growth, manifestation, attraction, and action. Corresponds with confidence, courage, and the color green.
Full Moon - a time for heightened energy, power, abundance, and completion. Corresponds with emotional release, creativity, and the color white.
Waning Moon - a time for releasing, letting go, banishing negativity, and rest. Corresponds with shadow work, self-reflection, and the color purple.
Using Moon Magic in Your Witchcraft Practice
Here are some ways to incorporate moon magic into your witchcraft practice:
Track the phases of the moon - keep a journal or planner of the moon's phases and how they correlate with your energy, intentions, and goals.
Create moon water - charge a bowl of water under the light of the full moon, and use it in your spells and rituals.
Charge crystals - place your crystals under the light of the full moon to cleanse and charge them with lunar energy.
Perform rituals and spells - use the energy of the moon's phases to enhance your spellwork and ritual practices, focusing on the properties and correspondences of each phase.
Meditate and reflect - use the phases of the moon to guide your personal growth journey, connecting with the energy of each phase through meditation and self-reflection.
Tips for Working with Moon Magic
Here are some tips to help you work more effectively with moon magic in your practice:
Connect with your intuition - trust your own intuition and feelings when working with moon magic, as this will allow you to align with the natural rhythms of the moon.
Be prepared - plan ahead for your moon rituals and spells, gathering the necessary materials and tools in advance so that you can focus on your intentions and energy.
Be patient - the power of moon magic can be subtle and slow, so give yourself time to notice the effects and changes that come from working with lunar energy.
Practice regularly - like any aspect of witchcraft, regular practice is key to deepening your connection to moon magic.
Moon magic is a powerful and versatile aspect of witchcraft, allowing us to connect with the natural rhythms and cycles of the universe. By working with the energy and correspondences of each phase of the moon, we can tap into its transformative power and manifest our intentions. Remember to approach moon magic with respect and reverence for the natural world, and to trust your intuition as you explore its vast potential for personal growth and spiritual transformation.

Beginner Witch Tips - Kitchen Witch Edition
The oven can be your hearth. If a spell or ritual requires a hearth, your stove is just that. That being said, do not set anything on fire in your oven. Bad! No!
You don't need separate kitchen and altar herbs, although it is handy.
Some crystals can be used in kitchen magic, but I don't recommend putting them in or on anything other than a crystal on top of firm dough as it rests/rises. Secure crystals onto mixing equipment or spoons, or forgo using them at all.
Listen to witchy music as you cook or bake. I promise atmosphere is almost everything! It helps me focus. I recommend Peter Gundry.
While pets are cute and certainly carry spiritual energy with them, try to keep them out of the kitchen while you cook, especially if you have a certain intention you're trying to carry into your food. Their presence can distract you, throw off the energy you have accumulated, or otherwise disrupt the process. Once you're more confident with your kitchen witchery, their presence won't be such a big deal.
Take your time. It's okay. Sometimes it takes a while to truly clock into your spiritual energy while you're actively moving about and busy working, especially if you're used to practicing while sitting or standing in one spot. Remember - energy flows with you, not just around you.
Start small. Start with something simple like pancakes. For example: add a dash of vanilla to your pre-made batter mix to invoke self-love.
Write down things as you continue to work. Document what you're comfortable with, what you feel like you're good at, your project, and everything you feel you might want to. As you continue to work on that journal, you can go back and see how you've progressed!
Happy baking! Remember, your mood affects your project; negative emotions = negative influence.
As always, blessed be <3
