A beautiful rendition of the growing ties between humanity and birdkind. Soar with me as we make the choice to love. With open wings and arms, we shall embrace one another, putting aside our differences for a glimpse of time in our ever-expanding universe. Join me in my conquest for equality among birds and humans alike.
And he's quick with a joke, or to light up your smoke!
...But there's someplace that he'd rather be...
He says, "Crackletink, I believe this is killing me!" as a smile ran away from his face. "Well, I'm sure that I could be a movie star, if I could get out of this place!"
to be real with you, birdies— "the sea is a good place to think of the future" is quite possibly the greatest song ive ever heard in my entire life. there will never be a better song. it is perfect.
SHE SAID ONE DAY TO LEAVE HERR SAND UP TO HER SHOULDERSSS WAITING FORRR THEEE TIDEEE
great lyrics and heartwrenchingly sad as well, makes me feel emotions bruther
not to mention it's basically the exact same song as sandy fishnets by evelyn evelyn which is great
sandy fishnets and the sea is a good place to think of the future are about the same damn girl and ill stand by this until the day that i die. just listen to the songs honestly. nothing can explain it better than the songs themselves. I've written an entire page of my proof of this, just ask @unechouetteouioui who was forced to read it against her will
note: this is not canon crowverse lore. this is secret inside info from the sexy mysterious glamorous perfect and human voice behind chut. (this is canon chuts favorite song: https://youtu.be/YllzdGa3E5A?si=92CTIXgFrOYugi7u)
sometimes, i take long caws alone on the beach at night... the wind in my feathers, and i think, man. c'est la vie!
Sometimes, I wonder what the ocean is trying to tell me. Even as I try to ignore them, the voices of the waves find their way into my ears through conchs and the sand beneath my feet. There are a thousand dead voices all humming synchronously, pulling my eyes shut and lulling me to sleep face down in the tide. The waves lap over the shore day by day, mercilessly stealing away everything in their wake, capturing even the faintest semblance of humanity that may remain. There is nothing you can do—the sand and the water will always remember. They carry fragments of memory with them across the seas, allowing them to break off into smaller pieces and settle in the furthest corners of the ocean floor. There they lie alone, rotting and fermenting under the salt, dissolving and becoming one with the infinite beast that encapsulates them. I still remember when it took you. It stole you from my clutch and carried you away to someplace sacred, and you became merely another whisper in the waves right before my eyes. The bay forgot, but I carried the primordial liquid in my soul and slowly drowned in your demise, no matter my distance from you. I tried to find you, but instead, I lost myself. It all ends as quickly as it comes.
