I'm literally so normal about Fitz Vacker and how he's not only capable but entirely willing to kill for what he believes is the greater good. Maybe it's just Alvar or maybe it's Alvar bringing something out inside of him that's broken and vicious. He's overwhelmingly protective and so hungry for justice and what is supposed to be right. And he's not willing to do it because he's evil or because he doesn't care about life he's willing because he cares so incredibly deeply for the lives of those he chooses that it's almost blinding in its intensity. His morality is not absent it's powerful and intrinsic to his very being. He's spent his entire life literally being used as a tool of doing something wrong for the greater good, going to the forbidden cities when he was barely a child despite them being... forbidden. And risking his life and his education and his social development to become this thing which does what is necessary. His worldview is so oppressingly black and white and the benefit must always outweigh the potential harm it could cause not to himself or a single individual but to everyone else.

Unpopular KOTLC opinions

This the segment where i talk about things KOTLC related where i don't think anyone agrees with or is not very popular.

My opinion today is that Biana could be replaced since i think she isn't very necessary. Look, i love Biana, she is such a mood. BUT I literally cannot recall anything she has done plot relevant. Like, yea she might've done something but i cannot say how much i feel like she got shoe horned. I also think her power is useless, specially if we talk about how Tam is way more useful in hiding more people and the hiding object shit. Marella is even more useful than her cause of her fire shit. I feel like Biana is such a wasted opportunity, I can imagine her being so helpful but the story does her dirty (Ngl that's my opinion with most of how the story treats the female cast)

I think a way they could fix this is that if they made her the fire person. Or like, she could've been twist villain cause lets be honest no one really gave a shit about avalar, he was there for like one book before the reveal. I think Biana being there since the beginning and then finding out that she betrayed them would hit SO hard. Then she could switch sides back with the Black swan and there would be so much angst with the vackers. And like, commentary on how fitz like feels??? We didn't get much with Avalr and Fitz's relationship but we SEE Biana's and Fitz's dynamic and then we could see how he feels about the betrayal. AND SOPHIE! We could see how Sophie graples with her own memories of Biana, wondering what was an act and when was it actually genuine, and like having to accept that one of her best friends, her first girl FRIEND betrayed her trust tenfold.

a KOTLC rewrite

I’ve had this idea, where I rewrite KOTLC. No offence, but there is a lot of problems with the books (still love them) like the shit ton of characters, Sophie feeling like the side character compared to Keefe, Biana is low key useless, and the plot twist that didn’t really make sense (Dex’s mom being squall and forkles being a pair of twins to be example and no the jokes don’t count.) So I’ve been thinking of some alternative plot stuff.

Fitz and Biana looking more like the fanart (aka darker skin just cause they look cooler.)

Tam and Linh being part of the Neverseen the defecting (Joined prob of the stigma and there parent issues)

More of foxfire and Exillium (They are cool)

Making Biana the Pyrotechnic (Let’s be honest vanishes are kinda lame.)

Making the Neverseen more prevalent. (Specially in the newer books, it feels like they were kinda wasted over Gisela’s thing.)

Scraping the Forkle thing.

Make Maruca part of the core group.

Make Wylie closer to the group, being kinda like the voice of reason before they run off.

Make Gisela the leader of the Neverseen!!!Then make them do some fucked up shit, not just Keefe.

Make Sophie’s progress in defeating the Neverseen a bit faster! This is more of a gripe but it feels like they get no where.

make Sophie feel more out of place. Give her hetrochromia or something other than brown eyes, I get they all have blue eyes but like it doesn’t feel as interesting cause the majority of the people reading probably have brown eyes. Heterochromia is a lot more rare, it would make a little more sense! Plus they couldn’t make the weird potion thingy to turn eyes brown.

Another thing, the council should be shrunken.

MORE OF ORALIES LOVE INTEREST CAUSE I DID NOT GIVE A SHOT WHEN HE DIED SO HE SHOULD GET MORE SCENES.

Fitz deserves to get doted on, so give him his own love triangle with dex and tam. This is more of a me thing, I like the idea that Fitz is floated and Biana isn’t into anyone, like Athena. To busy to be in love.

Just nuke Amy, she isn’t really important. I feel like the Black Swan as there own human informant.

more fights.

an actual plot thing, I feel like they shouldn’t have introduced Sophia’s parents I think she should’ve had an arc where she understands that she will never really know who they were but she wouldn’t care cause she has a family now. That or just make her human mom her real mom cause how the hell does she have another mom but her human mom gave birth to her.

that’s all but tell me what you think, should I actually write?
