Today started out as just another holiday I had been dreading like all the other holidays I have just been going through the motions of since you passed. But I got the nicest surprise picture in an email from a very special person that I never thought I would have back in my life, but you always said “never say never”...Like the cardinals I have been seeing everywhere since you’ve been gone, I believe you had a way of making that communication happen too. You always believed in the power of friendship. I know you didn’t want to leave, and I miss you terribly and always will. This holiday was bearable because I’ve gotten the messages, and I am so grateful for all of them...
