I was telling a friend yesterday that I feel as though I am at a new cross point in my life. Then we both laughed. 🤣🤣 My life, if nothing else, has been a series of adventures, aha-moments, evolutions AND cross points. I just don't want to get to the end of my life and have regrets that were based on fear. 🔹️🔹️ Did everything turn out the way I hoped it would? Nope. Was it all rainbows and sunshine living in foreign countries alone? Absolutely not. 🔹️🔹️ But I'm glad I did it. I grew a lot. The countries south of are so so beautiful, and yet... the Corrupt steal that from the people. Heartbreaking and scary, especially when you live there. 🔹️🔹️ In addition to appreciating our country's rule of law, I value what's important down deep in my being. Faith. Family. Friends. The true gold of life. 💰💰 I don't take things for granted as much anymore. My eyes are wide open. 👀 ✝️ There is a Bible verse that says (paraphrased) "you WILL have trouble in this world". 💥🌎 And we say it often in my family. It is our reminder that trouble should be expected, but that we do not need to be brought down by the troubles because the war has already been won. Jesus saved us‼ Thank you Jesus. 🙏🏼💕 I know who I am and I know to Whom I belong. That is peace in the middle of the noise. 🔹️🔹️ P.S. There really was so much beauty when I traveled but a without a family or many good friends to share it with… well, wonderful travel experiences feel as though they are missing something. Amazing photos aren't as valuable as amazing memories shared with people you love, and who really know and love you. 🔹️ I keep telling people that I feel like Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz". I have officially moved back to Austin Texas and still today exhausted from the move. 🏡 If you've been following along then you know that I was living in the #Yucatan peninsula for the past year and visiting other south of the border countries a year before that. 🔹️ I've learned so much about myself and life. My love of country swells even greater than before. ♥️🇺🇸 🔹️ The next few weeks of my life, I will be strongly dedicated to my coursework for the Texas #realestate exam and license. No fun photos in these boring books. 🔹️ In the meantime, I thought I would share some of my Yucatan stories and photos that I hadn't shared before. 🔹️ This photo was taken on #Holbox island. I remember the sand underneath my hands was so soft and smooth... my hands sunk a bit and I could grab earth for just a moment of stability and flow. 🔹️ Also a good and smart friend told me that I would be wise to stop posting swimsuit photos when I am a #texasrealtor .
