Everything will be fine, just you wait… how long do I wait? Why should I wait? It seems I’ve been waiting forever, forever and that day. Patience is a virtue… whenever did you assume I was virtuous? I’m tired… some days more than others, but every day tired. Lonely n weary, am I making this clear-y? When do I win? What game are we playing? I don’t want to play… I just wanna live. Smile, you bring joy n when all is not good in your world, the climate carries over. Is that my fault? Do I have some duty to them? To anyone save myself? Save my children? I’m living each day as if it will drudge onward ever after. How do I get to where o can live it as my last each day I’m alive? I wish to see and visit more wonders, more beauty in the world but how if I’m staring only at my feet, trudging through the muck and offal left behind… how?

Do you see me? If not, you will. Choice. Is. Humanity. There is nothing more. Taken. You deserve nothing more. Will I take it? Will you? I would be as the hatter… shades of red and blue, tiny eruptions as gravity pulls harder, can you dig it? A spade, as it always has been, take care lest your back injure, for surely you will need to carry the weight of the world. It does not grow lighter as the sun departs the sky, as does the breath of sons and daughters of the tribe of Man. Twilight has come, stillness long awaited, I already miss you. Hear me! This is mine. I WILL TAKE WHAT IS MINE! What follows, that, is yours. Darkness now, forever my home…
