i need your opinion on jeff/shirley. when i first started to watch the first season, i thought it was cute that jeff and shirley were connecting and always thought that it would have been cool if jeff got with her. like ive always loves the jeff and shirley plotlines together and if they got together, it also would have maybe showed that jeff had some character development? also i dont like the "taking back cheaters" plot line, so this is like a self indulgent thing that i like but idk, just want to know your opinion :)

Yeah, I get that. I personally don't like Jeff/Shirley as a couple because I feel like they both have very different lifestyles, (Shirley being a housewife with kids who loves marriage, etc etc) but I get why a lot of people ship them. The whole plotline about Shirley getting back with her husband seemed lazy to me, and it was the starting point for her downfall, in my opinion. Shirley was always one of my favorites, but honestly, there's a point in the show that the dean becomes a more important character than Shirley, which doesn't make any sense.

In general, I love Jeff and Shirley as a close-friends-who-gossip sort of duo, but I totally get why people would ship them. Also, justice for Shirley. Once again...
