Pharaoh and Reincarnated Queen adventures pt. 12

Britt and Yami walked together as they searched for a duel to have after their tag team duel. As they were debating on who they should duel next, they saw some kids run by talking about someone dueling against Weevil Underwood and from the way they talked about it the description sounded like Joey.

'That's interesting. We may want to check it out.' Britt thought.

'Hmm.. Joey's dueling Weevil?' Yami thought

"Come on, let's check it out." Yami said to Britt, as she nod in agreement to him.

They hurried in the direction the kids went but as they approached they noticed a crowd, as much as Britt thought it would be best to go near it Yami had other ideas since he didn't want Joey relaying on him/Yugi all the time. So Yami looked around and noticed a ladder, he got Britt's attention and had Britt go first. Britt wasn't one for heights, but she carefully climbed up the ladder so they would find a spot to watch. Yami could sense Britt's fear as they got to the top of the building so once they were up there and he seen her freak out he put an arm around her to calm her down as they watched.

They watched as the duel began and seen Joey was having a hard start. As they watched, they overheard some boys and looked over, seeing that the boys were seeming to make Espa Roba a fake ESP.

'This is bad. Hopefully Joey can figure this out.' Britt thought

As they watched, they saw that Joey had a disadvantage at first in the duel with Espa Roba, knowing what cards were in his hand. Britt and Yami knew Joey could figure it out if he just thought about it since ESP was quite a longshot for anyone. They knew there was a lot Joey needed to figure out and he also needed to remember the Battle city rules. When Espa Roba's brothers informed him Joey had two dice cards, he told Joey that if they were both graceful dice he couldn't play them. Joey on the other hand looked at his cards seeing one was Graceful dice but the other was Skull Dice.

As Britt watched with Yami she noticed it was really a Graceful Dice magic card and a Skull Dice trap card. It wasn't long that Mokuba had showed up spotting the group of boys cheating for their brother.

Even though Britt and Yami were watching the Duel, they would occasionally look over at Mokuba and Espa Roba's brothers to see what he was going to do. The boys promised their brother could win the duel if Mokuba would let the duel continue without their help. Mokuba was caught in the middle as he listened to their story of how their brother defended them and it wasn't long that Mokuba looked over and saw Britt and Yami looking over at them.

'Joey can win this, but he has to be smart about his moves.' Britt thought.

'Espa Roba is a strong duelist.' Yami thought.

Yugi watched beside them in spirit form as he knew that this was going to be a tough duel for Joey. Then they saw that Espa Roba brought out a duel monster named Jinzo. It was a tough duel as they could see, with Joey having some good moves but they were most impressed when Joey used a magic card to take a risk. He attached it to one of Espa Roba's monsters and when Espa Roba yelled "stop" it stopped, his monster stopped on his Jinzo, making them destroy each other and Joey winning the duel.

'Good Job Joey.' Britt thought

Britt and Yami went back to the ladder as they and Yami went down first but watched her as she came down, though he had also came down first so he'd be able to catch her if she fell. Britt followed behind but she was scared to get down due to her fear of heights that she'd never told anyone but her family about. Once Yami got down and he watched her and when she was close enough he put his arms out.

"If you're too scared to go the rest of the way, let go. I'll catch you Britt." He said

Britt looked at him at first wondering why he'd do that when but knew he was trying his best to help her out so she nod. She let go as she closed her eyes, for a moment She thought she would hit the ground but Yami caught her as he promised. Yami started walking keeping hold of her as he wanted to make sure she was going to be safe. Britt blushed some due to she didn't want to be carried but she didn't protest either because she figured she wouldn't win the arguement.

'We're better sticking together. That way I can protect her from what's coming. Securing that we both make it to the finals is a cruicial.' Yami thought

Britt noticed her other side Brittania had been awfully quiet lately during the whole time Yami had been carrying her, she knew she should get used to that for her other self would one day be gone and become apart of her. Suddenly they started to hear a laugh not far in the distance and as they looked the two of them noticed a clown. Clowns were one thing that freaked Britt out so she didn't mind that Yami still had her in his arms.

"Who are you?" Yami asked

"Hello Yugi and Britt. We've been looking for you." The clown said

"Who's we?" Yami asked

"You'll find out, if you walk that way," The clown said pointing to the tent. "53 steps forward and into that tent. My Master is waiting for you inside. It's in your best interest to go." The clown added before running away.

Mr. Motou and Tea saw them and were trying to catch up with them as they seen Yami enter the tent with Britt in his arms. They looked around seeing no one was there but they did notice the box under the words magic show and the clown was in it, motioning for them to come.

"Put me down." Britt said and Yami nod putting her on her feet.

"Britt, maybe you shoul-" Yami didn't get to finish before Britt cut him off.

"We're going together. This guy Marik, is after both of us and if he gets ahold of me he'll use me against you. He said so himself." Britt said

Yami could tell there was no way of changing her mind when she had a good point about Marik so he kept walking but he took her hand to lead her with him since they were doing this together. Tea and Mr. Motou entered the tent and were looking for him when they noticed him entering the box with Britt.

"Yugi! Britt!" Tea and Mr. Motou said but they noticed that it seemed like they could not hear them.

Once Britt and Yami were inside, there was a mist and the box fell apart. Tea and Mr. motou looked around wonder where they were. In another box in a building the door opened and Yami stepped out still holding Britt's hand. They walked over to a computer screen, as they looked they seen Yugi's dueling profile with the Dark Magician image changing and a hologram show up out of the screen.

"Alright, enough of these tricks!" Yami said

They heard a laugh come from the darkness and a man started to appear before them. They wondered who he was and what he wanted.

"Welcome Yugi Motou, I am the illusionist known as Arkana. Soon your favorite card will be dueling for me." He said to Yami.

As he seen Britt beside Yami, a smirk came to his face. "I see you brought your beautiful friend Britt Petrova with you." He added

Britt didn't mind the compliment but she didn't really like that they'd followed a clown to thie area. Arkana challenged Yami to a duel and had them follow him to the dueling Arena. Britt stayed back to watch as she seen them walk to a table and cut each others decks. She thought it would be fine until chains came out of no where and grabbed her, pulling her back and having her wrists handcuffed.

"Britt!" Yami said as he seen what had happened.

"Sorry my dear, but we can't have you helping him." He said.

"Like he needs my help, he can beat you without my help." She said as she didn't like the idea of being handcuffed

Next she saw the floor under Yami and Arkana start to move backwards where their ankles were locked in so they couldn't escape. As she listened to the terms of their duel and seen what Arkana called dark energy disks appear, she worried for Yami, hearing that one touch and their mind was sent to the shadow realm.

"If you lose, not only do I get your Dark Magician, but your mind gets sent to the shadow realm. And as for your girl..well, she'll be put to good use." Arkana said

'His girl? Ok we did just start dating but when did I get referred to as his girl? Well Marik knows about me being the reincarnated Queen...so go figure.' Britt thought

Arkana explained the rules on how the numbers above the energy disks were representing life points and the box between their feet showed the opponents life points. To get the key, they had to take out their opponents life points to get free.

"And what about Britt?" Yami asked Arkana.

"Look over by her. There's a Key hanging where she can't reach it. So if for some reason you win, you get to save her." Arkana said.

Yami saw the key hanging out of Britt's reach he didn't like that the stakes were high but he knew he had to win..

'Don't worry Britt, no matter what I'll get us out of this.' he thought

Britt folded her arms as she was forced to just stand there and watch. Yami had the first move and she smiled as she seen it wasn't a bad start. But she felt Arkana was up to something. She wouldn't put it past the guy to figure he'd be cheating somehow.

'Well this is a different turn of events. We're shackled where we can't move from where you stand.' Brittania thought to Brittney.

'Why were you so quiet earlier when Joey was dueling?' Britt asked Brittania.

Britt heard a chuckle from her other side 'Bonding time. We're becoming one person so soon there won't be two of us talking to each other. So we're going to have to get used to it after all, i'm just a fragment of what you were locked in the bracelet.' Brittania told her, Britt had figured that but she had hoped she'd been wrong.

They were both relieved when they saw Yami use a magic card called Card Destruction to make them both send their hands to the graveyard and pull a new hand. Arkana was not happy about this as he sent his hand to the grave. Yami, though, seemed happy with his hand as they watched by sacrificing a monster he was able to summon his Dark Magician and use a direct attack for 2500 point damage to Arkana's 4000 life points.

'He'll win. The Dark Magician is one of his best cards.' Britt thought

Britt watched as the duel progressed but when Britt saw they each had four facedown and one Dark Magician card, she was hoping for the best. Arkana used one of his face down cards called Guillotine and used it on Yami's Dark Magician. Britt tried to move away from the shackles but was not able to. Right when it seemed hopeless, she noticed that Yami saved the Dark Magician, but she noticed that Arkana and Yami met move for move. When Yami asked who was Arkana's master, Arkana went to explain his past and how he met Marik who promised to reunite him with his love.

"Now then, Marik wants the girl, but if I eliminate you, then she's useless to Master Marik." Arkana said

Britt wanted to know just what Marik wanted with Yami and the puzzle, but she knew it had to do something with the Millennium items. As she looked over at her item, she wondered if it was just useless to anyone else besides her. Britt wanted to do something besides sit there but with the shackles on her arms made her useless to help anyone. When she seen Arkana use a trap to wipe out Yami's defense monsters and use a magic card to bring back his dark magician, she became very worried. Britt became so worried for Yami, for Yugi that when her other side took over her eyes flashed a nile blue color to show the change.

"You can win this, Fight to the end!" Brittania said

Watching as the magic card that Arkana played worked for Yami and allowed him to summon Dark Magician girl. She smiled as she listened to Yami explaining how Dark Magician Girl had 100 more life points than Arkana's second Dark Magician. She heard him say that Dark Magician Girl gained an extra 300 attack points from every Dark Magician in the graveyard, adding 600 attack points to her original 2,000 attack points totalling in 2,600. Britt thought about this as she watched Yami wiped out the rest of Arkana's life points. She smiled a bit knowing he'd won through keeping his ways of playing with Honor.

Once Arkana's life points reached zero she noticed below Yami was a locator card and a key to get out of the shackles he was in which brought a smile to her face.

Yami got himself free but they soon heard their friends and Mr. Motou. Yami switched places with Yugi. Yugi saw the key Arkana had was on the floor so he ran over and unshackled Arkana, making the Dark Disk miss him. All of them watched as Arkana went to where his 'Katherine' was supposed to be as Yugi went over to Britt grabbing the key and unlocking the handcuffs on her wrists. Though looking over at Arkana, Brittania knew now that Marik was a no good liar, she let Britt take control again while the others noticed Arkana was holding a dummy.

'I don't like this, keep your guard up and we can't rely on him keeping us safe all the time. We have to adventure out on our own and risk being caught.' Brittania thought to Britt

As much as Britt hated to admit it, she knew in her heart Brittania was right. She had to go on her own regardless of what Yami wanted for them to stay together. She couldn't live in fear of Marik during this tournament. Marik had taken control of Arkana's body using something to control him but he made his threats clear he wanted Yami's power and planned to take it. She knew Marik was after them and more importantly wanted to capture her and probably their friends to use against him.

"Britt, we shou-" Yugi started but Britt shook her head no. "Yugi, tell him I'm sorry but I have to work my way up to battle city finals on my own. I can't rely on him saving me, it's not my style. I'm not a damsel in distress and I can hold my own in a duel." Britt said

"But with Marik out there and the rare hunters you should stay around us." Yugi said

"No, my sisters and cousin are out there on their own fighting their own battles. I need to as well. If I just stay around I'm not going to be able to do much and I won't hold him back." She said

When they left with Mr. Motou, Tea and Tristan she went her own way to get some ground for her own duels winning her own locator cards. She knew she had to take this step for herself regardless of what Yami wanted her to do. They were in this together but she knew she could stand on her own away from for a little while.

'Let me show you what I can do without having you protect me. I hope when we come across each other in this tournament again you won't be mad.' Britt thought

Pharaoh and Reincarnated Queen’s adventure pt. 11

As they were hanging out Britt had kept her duel disk by her side but she always felt as if she was being watched. No she knew Yami watched her from the side of Yugi and she was used to that this was a bit different. She looked around for a minute catching a brief glimpse of blonde hair.

'someones watching but doesn't want to be known.' Britt thought

It was after that and a few days later when Battle City was happening. Britt and Yugi were walking into the tournament area looking at the little piece of something that had been sent out.

'so what is this thing? A puzzle?' Britt thought

"Hey Yugi!" Mai said running over to them

Yugi looked up "oh hey Mai." Yugi said

"Pretty big turn out for this thing." Mai said

While Yugi and Mai were talking Britt felt like they were being watched. She looked around for awhile and noticed a man in a black cloak sipping tea. She found it odd and the fact he had a computer screen infront of him.

Mai waved her hand infront of Britt seeing she seemed to be distracted and Britt looked at her.

"Sorry, I was just looking around." Britt said

"Why? These people are all losers. Except you two, Yugi has won a tournament and so have you." Mai said

"Yeah..I know." Britt said

Since Mai was one for jewelry she noticed Britt's ring and where it was on her hand. She took hold of Britt's hand looking at it.

"Did something happen since the last time I saw you?" Mai asked

"W-what do you mean?" Britt asked as she got her hand free and held it close to her.

"You didn't have that ring. So it's that serious?" Mai said in a bit of a teasing way and Britt looked away blushing.

"It's complicated..you wouldn't understand." Britt said

Mai was gonna ask but then the sound for the start of battle city was sounded off. For the moment they went their separate ways except Yugi who'd allowed Yami to take over as he followed behind Britt seeing she was still looking over at the table when it started. Suddenly they heard Joey very loudly and when that caught their attention it made sense to Britt right then.

'he's a rare hunter? He's the one who took Joey's Red eyes Black Dragon and caused him to be late for his sister's operation.' Britt thought

They went over as they seen what was going on.

"Joey what happened?" Yami asked him

"This guy he's a rare hunter, he's one the guys who took my red eyes." Joey said

'that's Yugi Motou who holds the dark Magician and Britt Petrova holder of the Goddess of the Nile.' The rare hunter thought

"What about you two? Would you risk your rare cards to duel me?" The rare hunter asked

Britt was going to agree when Yami put an arm out infront of her.

"I'll duel you, leave her out of this." He said

"Yami, I can help. Please." Britt said

"No Britt, let me handle this one.." Yami said to her

Britt knew in a way that he was doing this to keep her out of losing her goddess of the Nile but at the same time she knew that it wasn't going to help when she would duel others. She had to do this on her own and not rely on him all the time.

"Very well but if you lose, I will be taking your dark Magician then I will be dueling the girl." The rare hunter said

Yami wasn't going to let that happen but when the duel started Yami activated the hollo imagers that were on the sides of the duel disk to start the duel.

Joey and Britt were standing back watching from the sides as they were not to interfere.

Yami took a draw from his deck as he had his five cards.

"I'll start. I summon Betta the Magnet warrior in attack mode and two face down cards." Yami said

Watching they seen the rare hunter hunter took his turn.

"I draw then next I use graceful Charity which allows me to draw three cards and discard two." He said

Watching as it was going back and forth with the duel Britt was a bit worried for Yami but she'd noticed the rare hunter had more than one graceful charity which made her wonder what was he up to.

'I hope he knows what he's doing.' Britt thought

'he's our pharaoh, one of the best duelists. Trust in him.' Her other side told her.

After a few turns it was seeming to be going in Yami's favor but it wasn't long before they realized the rare hunter was looking for exodia cards. Yami used one of the cards from his deck to stop him from never summoning Exodia in the duel leaving that when it was said and done Yami was the victor.

"Yes!" Britt said

Yami went over to the rare hunter to get Joey's red eyes then he seen that the rare hunter had done so he knew his cards and could guess each of them. He ripped the cards as they were not useable to others and went to give Joey his card back but Joey would not accept it.

Britt was turning away to leave for a duel of her own when she heard a menical laughter.

'This is bad. We have more to deal with than I thought.' Britt thought

'did you expect anything less with how danger finds us?' Brittania thought

'well no. I am the reincarnated Queen.' Britt thought back

"keep watch Pharaoh. I'll be watching and when you least expect it I'll get your puzzle. Not only that I'd keep watch on your Queen. I know who she is and I'll be waiting for the chance to have my rare hunters grab her." The voice coming from the rare hunter said

"I won't let you touch her! Who are you?" Yami said angered by the threat.

'there will only be 12 finalists in this tournament. So we'll have to make sure we're part of the twelve.' Yami and Britt thought at the same time.

Britt debated what she was going to do next after finding out there was more then meets the eye. She decided to walk with Yami just in case since rare hunters were out there.

That was until they found two duelists to do a tag team duel with. It didn't take them long with Britt having her Goddess and Yami having the Dark Magician when they were able to have the two on the field at the same time they used a double attack to finish and win the duel. That gave Britt two locator cards and Yami three locator cards. With the rare cards they were gave they didn't really use them in their decks. Britt knew with her deck she had to use specific cards. Yami though had put Joey's red eyes in his deck since Joey wanted him to keep it til he could earn it back.

"we have a good start. Soon we'll have enough to enter." Yami said to Britt.

Britt nod in agreement to what he said

"Yes we do." She admitted to him glad they were working together

Hathor, Bre and Nana had gone out on their own to try to win what they could, they wanted to join Britt and Yami when they reached the finals.

Pharaoh and Reincarnated Queen’s adventures pt. 10

After the announcement of the tournament all of them had gone home. Each had information that the other two didn't know about. For Hathor and Yugi they were aware of the Prince that was destined to come back to help Britt and Yami, while Yami and Britt knew information about their past and destiny.

Things had gone back to normal, Yami went back within the puzzle while they figured it out. Britt took the chance to take a shower as she thought about all of what she'd learned. She didn't hear him calling for her anymore which brought her some peace that she wasn't hearing him when she was doing things.

'My birthday falls this week, I turn sixteen before the tournament.' Britt thought

Part of her wanted to back out of this tournament and not even compete but the part of her that knew he needed her help was stronger and she would risk it all for him. She knew her Goddess was on the line here when she would step into the tournament.

'If I lose then I lose the Goddess...' Britt thought

don't worry love, I would get it back for you. Yami thought to her

She smiled a bit hearing his voice but she blushed at his thought of calling her love. She got out as she dressed for bed, she layed down there at first looking at the ceiling and then she reached for the paper Zoey had gave her looking at it.

'this...this was my...no our...family.' Britt thought

Hathor was thinking about the things Zoey said about Britt and the Pharaoh when it came to their bond. She wondered how long they had being exchange students before Yami and Britt would be separated.

'When our time as exchange students are up, Britt, Bre, Nana and I will go back to Egypt. Britt will be heart broken to have to leave but..I like Yugi..I don't want to leave either.' Hathor thought

Britt had fell asleep with the paper close by her, she was a bit exhausted to say the least. So much had happened in one day that she was not sure how to process it all. She knew the same as Hathor that their time as exchange students would be coming to an end soon.

The next day Mr. Motou had gotten them breakfast made. Britt stretched as she opened her eyes and thought about what it'd of been like to wake up with Yami beside her knowing that at some point in her past she did.

Yugi was already at the table as he seen the four girls coming to the table and sitting down. Britt yawned a bit as she covered her mouth. Bre and Nana laughed a bit looking at her.

"So, what happened last night? You all came in pretty late." Bre asked

"Nothing much..nor anything you need concern yourself about." Britt answered

Mr. Motou came putting the plates infront of them as they were all talking. He caught the word date as one of the things said and he cleared his throat a bit making the five of them look at him.

"There was a date last night?" Mr. Motou asked

"Sorta." Hathor said

"Sounds like a double date you ask me." Nana said

"What?" Britt asked

"You and the Pharaoh, Hathor and Yugi?" Nana guessed

Hathor and Britt both blushed a bit at her words and Yugi looked a bit bashful at the same time. None of them agreed or denied the double date but their reactions were obvious.

"Ah ha! So you did." Nana said

"Any kissing?" Bre asked

"Not with me and Yugi..but Britt on the other hand." Hathor said

Britt blushed a bit "So what? I found out a lot." Britt said

Mr. Motou knew already that Britt was the reincarnation of the Pharaoh's Queen. He wasn't surprised in the least but he was responsible for the four girls while they were exchange students.

"Be careful." Mr. Motou said

"Hm, careful. Words I don't think I can live with during the upcoming tournament." Britt said

"We're entering!" Bre and Nana said

Britt just looked at them knowing from what Ishizu mentioned there was going to be a lot of danger. She opened her mouth to object but Bre and Nana both put their hands up to shut her up.

"You are our sister, and we love you. You cannot do this on your own. We are going and that is final." They said to her

Britt wanted to object and fight but she knew her sisters well enough to know they would be just as stubborn as she was going to be. She wouldn't let Yami go in this alone and they were making it clear neither was she.

"I'm entering too." Hathor said

"What? But, Hathor it-" Britt didn't get to finish as Hathor cut her off.

"I am your cousin and I love you like a sister. I am entering to be there for your safety." Hathor said

After that for the next couple of days were normal, Britt's parents had been in town setting up for Britt and Bre's birthday party. Hathor and Nana had invited the friends of Britt's at the school but they'd gathered word people from Egypt were coming for her birthday party.

Yami had been in charge of keeping Britt distracted, so he kept her in her guest room to make sure she didn't mess up anything. She would look at him but he would pull her close as he had her sitting on his lap.

"What are you doing? We are supposed to be getting ready for the tournament." Britt said

"Someone said your birthday was today." Yami said

"So? It's just another day. We have to be getting ready and I know the ri-" she was cut off by Yami kissing her and she kissed him back at first but then she pulled away.

"We really should be preparing for the tournament." Britt said as she looked down.

Yami put his hand under her chin to make her look at him. "Taking one day to celebrate the day you were born is not a bad thing." Yami said

"But the closer we get it's going to get harder to leave when the exchange program is up." Britt said

there was a silence between them for awhile but then they went looking for something when they went into a kitchen and a box was left there. Britt seen it was for her and opened it seeing that it was a dress and shoes for tonight.

"huh?" Britt asked

"seems someone wants you to be dressed up for something." Yami said

Britt took the box into her room and closed the door to be alone. It was a few minutes before she came out and walked out with the purple dress on and one inch heals. Yami turned and looked at her seeing how she seemed a bit uncomfortable but he walked to her and that's when she realized she could look him directly in his eyes without having to looking up at him because she was an inch shorter than him.

'I..I can look him eye to eye..' Britt thought but she blushed a bit at how she felt so uncomfortable right now.

"No need to blush Britt, you're beautiful." Yami said

Britt gave him a brief smile.

It was later when he was leading her to the party and she was blindfolded. Just so she didn't fall he'd picked her up holding her where she'd be comfortable. Britt didn't care for being blind folded but she tolerated it.

When she felt him put her down she wasn't sure, she felt something beside her and her hand went out she felt it was Bre's hand so she knew Bre had to be blindfolded too.

Once the bloindfold was pulled off of the two girls, everyone was there infront of them.

"Surprise!" They said

Britt realized it was a surprise birthday party, the twin girls smiled seeing that their friends from home were there and they seen their parents. Yami came up beside Britt taking her hand and she looked at him smiling.

"you knew about this." Britt asked

"They asked me to distract you, it seemed to of worked a bit. Now what is the first thing you want to do?" Yami said to her

Britt looked around for a minute seeing that there was plenty of guests but the place had a stage and she smiled knowing exactly what she wanted. She looked at him as she let his hand go and took her twin's hand as they both went up on the stage. Hathor and Nana went up joining them as Britt made a motion to her friend who started some music and the girls started to dance up on the stage.

Yugi and his group of friends found Yami then watched as the girls were dancing up on stage. When the next song came on Britt started singing as they were dancing and she motioned for Tea to come up to join them. Tea made her way up as she joined the four up on the stage but Britt's singing made Yami put a hand on his head.

'her voice...'Yami thought as a bit of memory came to him.

After that Britt came down, many of her friends back home surrounded her asking her when she'd be back.

"I don't know, maybe when this student exchange program ends but I don't think I want to." Britt said

"Ooh, does Egypt Tournament Champ Britt Petrova have a boyfriend here in domino city?" One of them asked

"well.." She started and then she heard Yami's voice "that would be me."

As her friends took a look at him Britt went over wrapping her arms around him. Yami held her close and she just smiled a bit at him.

"So when did you two start dating?" Another asked

"Uh, not very long." Britt answered as Yami nod

Not long after her parents came over, Britt let go of Yami and she showed her parents respect as she felt him let her go. Angela and Max Petrova had came over and looked at their daughter. Britt had always been a daddy's girl so her father was a bit protective of all his daughters.

"Happy Birthday Britt." Her mother said handing her a box.

Britt smiled taking it as she looked at it before she opened it. Inside was a ring that seemed to of been made of gold as she took it out and looked at it.

"What is this?" Britt asked her mother

Max spoke up and decided to speak up since this part was a bit hard for him to accept even though they had known since she was ten years old.

"Careful with it, it's quite old but it belongs to you Britt. It..was found in your former life's tomb." Max said

Britt wasn't sure what to say as she looked at it then looked over at Yami. Yami came over hearing that part and he looked at it before he looked at her.

"May I?" He asked as she handed it to him.

Yami carefully took her hand and placed the ring where it would have been five thousand years ago. Britt looked at it seeing where he placed it and felt a sense of belonging with it. She looked at her parents knowing this couldn't be easy on them.

"Dad, I-" Britt started but he didn't let her finish.

"I've denied it enough and you have lived with people judging you because of what happened when you started sleep walking, but it's over now.. So before that program is up are you going to want to come back to domino City?" Max asked her

"I do, I like it here." Britt answered

Part of her wanted to tell her dad about the tournament coming up, that she was going to face some bad people and could get hurt but to keep him calm and not have him be against Yami she kept quiet. Yami on the other hand held her close to him as he looked at her before he looked at her father.

"Mr. Petrova, Britt is participating in the coming tournament. She's aware of some bad guys coming and I wanted to assure you that I will keep her safe." Yami said

"I can take care of myself, I don't need protecting!" Britt insisted

She heard laughing near by and she looked seeing one of her friends who liked her. She stayed by Yami as she watched him coming towards them.

"Of course you don't. The reincarnated Queen can handle herself." Jake said

Hearing those words Britt realized Jake knew the truth the whole time, she never had to of told him but it didn't seem to make much of a difference in this situation.

"Mr. Petrova, I begged you not to send her here. She's choosing him again just as she did 5,000 years ago." Jake said

"So what if I am? What's it to you?" Britt asked

"I'm in love with you! I've been in love with you for over five thousand years and you choose him everytime." Jake said to her

"I don't feel the same about you." Britt said

Max knew this was a bit out of hand and he had Hathor take care of Jake. Returning his attention to Yami and Britt he sighed a bit hearing about the tournament and knowing the risk.

"You must be careful Britt, let him protect you." Max said

"But daddy, he can't protect himself and protect me at the same time." Britt argued

"Britt, listen to your father." Angela said

"Yes, mama." Britt said

After so long it was mingling with everyone until they got to the presents. The twins went up sitting opening the presents that were given to them. Britt and Bre smiled as they were given things from back home that they couldn't get in Domino City.

Tina, a friend of Britt and Bre's presented to them some clothes from her parents store. Each of the twins looked at it and Britt blushed a bit on some.

"My parents made sure you girls have dresses for any dances that come up. After all there will be homecoming dances, prom, and well you know." Tina said

"Yeah, I'm aware." Britt said

"Oh, Tina you haven't met Britt's boyfriend.." Bre said

"Boyfriend? Ms. I'm staying single no matter what has a boyfriend?" Tina asked

"Sorta, we've only like went out once." Britt said

"Hey once or not, I wanna meet the guy who took my friend out for a date." Tina said

"Technically it was a double date." Hathor said

Looking over Britt seen Hathor wearing four inch heels which made her taller because of the heels but Britt preferred her one inch heals since she was shorter than Yami.

"Oh so you're dating someone too?" Tina asked

"Uh not technically. I didn't kiss him like Britt did her date." Hathor said

"Ooh. Though Britt isn't the type to kiss and tell." Tina reminded Hathor

Yami and Yugi debated how Yami should come across in this moment with them separated. Most people knew what Yugi looked like but since the battle at dungeon dice monsters Yami had taken on Yugi's image for the time.

"Just tell them you're me. When the tournament starts we'll be doing the tournament anyway." Yugi said

Joey and Tristan had been busy talking to people and had been taking some snacks when offered. They'd eventually came over hearing that part that Yugi said

"What's going on?" Joey said

"Britt, she's getting questioned about Yami so I told him to say he's me." Yugi said

"Well that does make sense." Tristan said

Yami walked away from the group to go over to them. He got beside Britt and wrapped his arm around her. Britt looked over seeing him and she smiled.

"Hi" Britt said

"Hey, you seem to be surrounded." Yami said

"No big deal. Really. You don't need to start protecting me now." She said with a bit of a laugh.

"So is this him? The boyfriend?" Tina asked as she nudged Britt a little.

"Boyfriend?" Yami said looking at Britt who blushed a bit and looked away. "S-Sorta..We're entering the tournament coming up."

"Oh well Good Luck! Also Take good care of my friend there, she gets a little over her head sometimes." Tina said

The party went well and after a few days they'd gone to where sign ups were. Among the group was Yugi, Britt, Bre, Nana,Hathor, Tea, Joey and Tristan as they all walked in the place. As they entered the man behind the counter looked at the group.

"May I be of some assistance?" He asked the group

"Hi, we came to register for the battle city tournament and get our duel disks." Yugi said

"Well then my young friends you have entered into the correct place." He said then looked back "You are fortunate since I have seven duel discs left on my shelf. But first I have to make sure you are qualified to register." The man said

"Ok I'm Yugi Motou" Yugi said

The man went to the computer entering his name "Alright, Yugi Motou." He said and then looked "Not bad, you've got five stars. That's the highest rank." The man said

"Where does this information come from?" Yugi asked

The man moved the monitor showing them Yugi's profile. "Kaiba corp did extensive research on duelists around the world and compailed into a database. This shows your skill level and the rarest card you've ever played in a duel." The man went on to explain the rest to them about the system then handed one duel disk to Yugi.

"Now whose next?" The man asked

"I guess me, I'm Britt Petrova." Britt said to the man

The man moved the monitor back "alright, Britt Petrova." He said before he then looked at the chart. "Congratulations you qualify as well with a five star rating. Quite the rarest card you have there miss." He said handing her a duel disk.

Bre, Nana and Hathor got up there after their cousin coming out with a four star rating each and getting a duel disk.

"I want a register too. Joey wheeler's the name." Joey said

The man checked the screen seeing what it said for Joey. The man told Joey his result was one star and way too low for entering which made Joey have a fit in the store. The man noticed the rare card Joey had and altered his results.

"My apologies Joey you actually have four stars and qualify." He said giving the duel disk to Joey

After that they all left heading out for getting ready.

Pairing: The Darkling x SunSummoner!reader

Summary: Tangled AU. Every year, you watch the lanterns from your tower and long to know more. You escape and bump into The Darkling. He's enthralled by your innocence and is more than happy to show you everything the world has to offer. ;)

A/N: I hope you don't mind that I did a Tangled crossover, I loved the prompt and this just came to me. Also, so sorry for the delay!! I keep going through cycles of working hard on my uni work/writing fics and then burning out. 😅 But anyway, enjoy!!

There was something about those lights. Every year, you would sit at your window and watch the lanterns drift into the night sky. Tears would fill your eyes, making them sparkle with the reflections of thousands of lights. You would be over brimming with emotion and yet you couldn’t put a name to a single one.

Painting was the only thing that could quiet your feelings. You would draw swirling lights all over your walls. You couldn’t say why but it just felt right.  

On your 18th birthday, you had asked your mother to let you leave the tower, to get a closer look at the lanterns.

Just like all your other birthdays, she told you, “No.”

You understood where she was coming from. It was treacherous out there and she loved you too much to risk your safety.

But those lights. They sang to you, and you needed to know why.

You tossed your hair over a hook above your window that was meant for a hanging basket. You would lower yourself down, using your hair like a pulley system. And then you would have to fall the rest of the distance.

The ground had never looked so far away. Your heart started to race so hard you thought it might break out of your chest. But you had to do this.

Your hands started to line with sweat. You wiped them on your dress before gripping onto your hair. Bit by bit, you lowered yourself down the length of the tower.

Your heart raced faster and faster as you climbed down. You didn’t want to think about how the ground still seemed so far away despite how far you’d climbed. You would run out of hair soon and would have to fall the rest of the distance. You had no idea how much it would hurt. But you had to do this, no matter the cost.

You started to reach the ends of your hair.

You closed your eyes and held your breath as you let go.

Pain shot through your body as you hit the grass. Your body knew what to do, rolling forward to minimise the damage. But it still hurt like hell. You could do nothing but lie there for a few moments, feeling the ache ringing through your bones.

The pain started to subside, and you were able to push yourself to your feet. You stood still for a moment as the gravity of your actions began to weigh down on you. There was no going back from this.

You looked around yourself and found that the tower was bordered by trees. With no better plan, you stumbled forwards, delving deeper into the woods. Gripping your arms for comfort, you limped as quickly as you could, lest your mother finds you and then puts an end to your journey before it even began.

Strange noises surrounded you: a rustling bush, a snapped twig. But everywhere you looked, you couldn’t see a single living thing.

Your mother had been right. The world was a scary place.

But you didn’t have too long to contemplate what was lurking in the woods as you soon stumbled upon a building - a thatched pub. As you approached, you began to hear shouting and laughter from inside. They seemed… friendly?

With tense shoulders, you pushed open the door. Men sat around tables drinking a yellowish liquid that gave off a sweet, yeasty smell.

The door banged shut and conversation died as the men turned to look at you. You shrank into yourself.

You asked - more high-pitched than you had intended, “Does anybody know about the lanterns?”

There was a pause as they looked between each other.

One of them finally spoke, “Is this some sort of a joke?”

“This isn’t a joke.” You stepped further into the room. “I just want to know if you can tell me anything about the lanterns. I see them every year and I want to know where they come from.”

“Do you live under a rock, girlie?”

That caused the men to let out a round of laughter.

Another man spoke up, “Come join me over here and I’ll tell you about the lanterns.”

That set off even more laughter and you couldn’t understand why.

“That would be amazing.” You replied.

He shifted over and patted the empty space on the bench next to him. You sat down and found yourself squished between two men.

One of them asked, “So you want to know about the lights?”

“Yes please.” You replied.

He took on the tone of someone talking to a child, “Every year the townsfolk gather by the lake and release a bunch of lanterns.”

“Why do they do that?”

“Now, now, I need something in return before I can help you.”

You hesitated. You’d left home completely empty handed. You had nothing to offer this man.

He puckered his lips and, when you failed to understand the hint, he pointed towards his mouth. It didn’t take you too long to figure out what he wanted. It didn’t feel right but you didn’t know what else to do. So you leaned your face towards him and pressed your lips against his. His foul breath grew unbearable, and you went to pull away, but he clasped his hands around your face and held you there. He forced his tongue deep within your mouth and you tried to struggle free, but his hands were too strong.

The man sat on your other side took the opportunity to come up behind you and grab your waist.

“No!” You protested - your words muffled against his mouth.

With one brutal shove, you managed to push the man away.  

“Calm down, girlie, just relax for a second and I’ll tell you everything you want to know.”

“I kissed you, I want to know now.” You replied as you tried to pry the other man’s hands from off your waist.

“In due time.” The man replied.

He reached forwards to twist a lock of your hair in his fingers. Behind you, the man started to glide his hands up your body, moving towards your breasts.

More men started to gather around you, interested in taking a bite. It felt as if their hands were all over you. You kept struggling but they kept grabbing, your breasts, your thighs, your hair. They were everywhere, everywhere you didn’t want them to be. No, no, no, no, no-

A ball of light burst into existence as if the sun itself had fallen in front of you.

The men scattered and shielded their eyes, some falling to the floor.

“The Sun Summoner…” A man gasped under his breath.  

You didn’t understand what was happening. Your skin glowed a burning white and the light from it extended throughout the building and broke through the roof.

As abruptly as it had appeared, the light died down. You took your opportunity. You leaped onto the table and jumped from bench to bench as you escaped the hands trying to grab you.

And then you were out the door. You sprinted further through the forest as fast as your body would take you.

You spared a glance behind yourself. They were all chasing after you, stumbling over themselves and pushing others out of their way. They were much faster than you and they were closing the distance with every second. It wouldn’t take long for them to catch up to you.

When you looked ahead again, you came to an abrupt stop, heels digging into the dirt. A dark horse had charged in front of you, stopping you in your tracks.

You spun around, searching for a new escape route. That’s when you noticed all the men behind you had stopped as well.

“The Darkling.” One of them murmured – fear lacing his tone.

The man on the horse extended his hand to you.

After having your trust betrayed, you weren’t sure how happy you were to give it again. But he would be able to take you away from those men. And there was something about him that made you want to take his hand.

You felt your hand moving towards his before you’d even made up your mind. His fingers curled around your own and, in an instant, he’d swung you around, so you were sitting behind him.

“Hold on tight.” He instructed.

Your rescuer lashed the reins and his horse dashed off. You quickly wrapped your arms around his waist and clung on tight as you disappeared deeper into the forest.

So many thoughts raced through your mind that you’d forgotten about the passage of time. And then you realised you’d been riding in silence for a long time.

You finally asked. “What… happened?”

“You’re the Sun Summoner.”

“I don’t understand.”

“Neither do I.”

That filled you with dread. You’d left home looking for answers but all you’d found were even more questions.

That light… That had come from you. You couldn’t stop thinking of the way your hands had glowed.

“Was what happened… was that normal?”

“What do you mean?”

“Can everyone do this? Am I supposed to be able to do this?”

Your rescuer – The Darkling, as you remember him being called - craned his neck to face you. He wondered if you were joking but found nothing besides honesty written across your face.

“No, it’s not normal.” He replied.

The forest came to an end, and you began riding through the town. Citizens kept their distance from the two of you but some of them couldn’t keep from watching you pass by.

“How do you not know this?”

“I… I’m not from around here.”

He didn’t understand. Ravka was enshrouded by The Fold. There was nowhere else you could have come from.

“Where are you from?”

You were glad he wasn’t looking at you right now. For some reason, you felt embarrassed to reply.

“I live on the outskirts. Deep in the forest. In a tower. With no door.” You realised how bad it sounded once you’d said it out loud and you tried to explain. “My mother loves me very much. She wanted to keep me away from danger.”

“So you’ve never been in town before?”

“No. I’ve never even been outside before.”

“So you’ve never met anyone else?”

You laughed nervously. “Aha, No. It’s just me and my mother.”

“That’s insane.”

“She’s just very protective.”

There was a pause as The Darkling processed everything you said.

“I don’t think it’s protection she’s concerned about.”

Before you could think about replying, a palace came into view, and you fell silent at the sight of it. You’d read so many fairy tales, but none could compare to seeing a palace in real life.

The horse trotted up to the iron gate and, upon seeing The Darkling, the guards drew up the gate for you to pass through.

You remained open-mouthed, staring at the white-bricked architecture, until he drew the horse to a stop.

He jumped off and then helped you down.

“This is the Little Palace.” He explained.

You were still busy looking around, taking in all the details from the precisely trimmed garden to the domes and spires at the top.

“There’s nothing ‘little’ about it.” You spoke, earning a chuckle from him.

“Let me show you around.” He gestured towards an open door.

He walked inside and you quickly followed after him.

“Will you tell me what’s going on? And can you please tell me about the lanterns?”

“Come again?”

“The lanterns that get released every year. I just want to know why. That was the whole point of this stupid trip.”

He turned to face you.

“The lanterns are for you.”

The world seemed to bend and shift in terrifying ways as the information resonated with something that was locked deep inside of you.  

“Come, we have a lot to discuss.”

He carried on further into the palace and, after breaking yourself free from your thoughts, you hurried after him.

“But first, I’ll make us some tea.”

He pushed open the door to what looked like a study. Everything had been painted in dark hues, from the war table in the middle to the bookshelves lining the walls.

“This is my room.”

You exclaimed, “You live here?”

He chuckled once again and began lighting the lamps hanging from the walls. “Yes, I do.”

You spied a chaise lounge in the corner and took a seat as he boiled the kettle. You fidgeted with your hands, unsure of what to do while you waited. Everything thus far had been so confusing. You had no idea what was going on, or what to think. And you still hadn’t received a single answer to your questions.  

And then your mind wandered to your mother. She must have realised your absence by now. Your heart dropped. You were about to consider leaving, giving up and going back to your tower to beg for forgiveness when The Darkling returned with two China cups.

“First things first,” he said, handing you your cup and sitting beside you. “Are you alright? Those men, they didn’t hurt you, did they?”

“No. I mean, I’m not sure… Maybe.” You stared at the steam rising from the tea as you went on, “One of them kissed me? I think. It didn’t feel good. And their hands were all over me, touching me in places I didn’t want to be touched.”

He paused before speaking. “I’m so sorry.”

He went to put his hand on your thigh to comfort you but thought better of it.

“No, it’s okay.” You reassured.

He let his hand rest on your thigh.

From your experiences so far, your mother had been mostly right. The men you’d met in the pub were exactly as she’d described them. But the man in front of you was nothing like that. He felt safe and… his touch was so different from that of the others.

But you were uncertain. 18 years spent in a tower, with nothing but those grey walls and your imagination. This was too much. To see so many new things, and to find out all this information, about the lights, about this ‘Sun Summoner’?

“Please can you tell me about the lanterns.” You requested one last time.

He nodded and absentmindedly turned the cup in its saucer as he spoke. “Many years ago, Ravka was cursed with the existence of The Fold.”

“I’ve read about that.” You explained.

“Then, as you know, that was created by the Black Heretic. He was my great great grandfather.”

Your eyebrows raised. That explained why he was living in the Little Palace and why everyone feared him. You tensed to think that you were sharing a cup of tea with such a powerful man.

He continued, “For centuries, all of Ravka have prayed that they would find someone who would be able to rival his powers, someone who could save them from The Fold, the Sun Summoner. Every year, they release lanterns into the sky, hoping that one day they will find the person who will bring light back to Ravka. That person is you.”

You searched his eyes for any hint of deception, but his words rang true.

You looked at your hands. Did you really possess the power to save Ravka?

“Are you sure you have the right person?”

“There’s a way that we can be certain.” He explained. “Do you trust me?”

You weren’t sure of anything anymore. But this man seemed to be giving you everything you needed. You nodded.

His fingers curled around your wrist and turned your arm, so your palm was facing upwards. Then he placed a finger against your skin. It was colder than you’d expected it to be. Your eyes widened when you noticed he was wearing a ring with a sharp blade at the tip.

He searched your eyes to check for your consent and, once he’d found it, he dragged the talon down your skin. You hissed as the metal cut open your flesh. Blood dripped from your cut but that wasn’t the only thing, a beam of light poured free from your arm. It flooded the dim room with light, bursting through the ceiling as it had done before. You’d never seen anything so beautiful yet so terrifying.

It was his turn to be wide-eyed, taking in every detail. But it wasn’t the light he was most interested in, it was your face. He’d never seen such a raw display of emotion. It entranced him.  

He had finally found his equal. And yet you were his opposite. So innocent and unmarred by the horrors of life. So naive to have followed him to his room, to willingly place your arm in his hand, to allow him to draw blood.  

He was snapped from his thoughts when the light vanished, falling away to darkness once more.

You realised you’d been holding your breath when it started to come out in quick pants.

“I’m- I’m- the Sun Summoner?”

He spoke softly – with the smallest hint of a smile, “Yes you are.”

His fingers receded from your arm and there was a moment of heavy silence between the two of you.

Your thoughts tumbled from your mouth before you could realise you were saying them. “That kiss… from the man in the pub. Will it always be like that?”

Were you insinuating what he thought you were insinuating?

He shook his head. “A kiss is meant to be enjoyable. Both parties are supposed to want it.”

“Does it feel like how it’s described in romance books?”

“With the right person, it can be even better.”

You found your eyes gently drifting closed. And your body started moving towards The Darkling as if by some gravitational force.

His eyes widened even more. He couldn’t believe you were bearing yourself up to him so willingly. You looked so vulnerable with your eyes closed. He took the opportunity to get a good look at you; there wasn’t a single mark on your skin, you’d not lived your life yet. He wanted more than anything to show you what the world had to offer, what he had to offer.

He dived his head down to meet yours. Your lips were so soft and delicate that he never wanted to pull away. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d felt this way about a kiss. Carefully, he placed his large hands on either side of your face.

This was… nothing like what it had felt like with that man at the pub. You felt something surge inside of you, craving more. Moaning into the kiss, you parted your lips for his tongue to explore you.

His hands twined in your hair, and you pressed your body against his, enjoying his warmth. Your hands were all over him, exploring what a man felt like. And such an interesting man at that, descendant of the Black Heretic, feared by many, and yet you'd never felt so safe.

You couldn’t stop moaning and wanting to be pressed against him even harder. He tasted faintly like blood orange, and you couldn’t get enough of it.

Heat pooled in your groin as his hands rifled through your hair. Experimentally, you grinded your crotch against his. He let out an unexpected groan and then pulled away.

"Are you sure you don't want to take things slower?"

You didn't need slow. Today had been so overwhelming, and yet you were still hungry for more.

"I'm sure." You replied and plunged back into the kiss.

Your crotch still throbbed and so you returned to rubbing yourself against him. This time, you found a slight hardness there. As you grinded your crotch against it, he groaned harder, his fingers tightening in your hair.

The hardness grew until he couldn’t take it anymore. His hands wrapped around your waist, and he lifted you off the sofa. Instinctively, your legs wrapped around him. You held on tight, never letting your lips leave his as he carried you into the adjoining room and laid you down on his bed.

He pulled away to speak. “Stop me at any point, okay?”

I questioned how all this would work out now with my son and my studies but luckily everything was still online for me. My parents didn't seem opposed to his request though as they were just needing time so we honored what they asked. Atem made sure his number was in my phone as he looked at me. The other wolf tribes, I knew I needed to worry about that but I had so much already on my mind with this. "What are my chances someone from the other wolf tribe will come after me? "Your chances are higher with being a white wolf, chances that your wife will be white is 1/6 and most of the ones who are turned their wolf matches their hair color. There is a pack of white wolves out there made of only white ones but white and red are the most rare." Dante said

Street Fighters pt. 2

For while my life didn't change and fifty dollars wasn't a lot of money but it was a start. I was a bit sore since there was the whole fight but I had to pull through with going to be fighting tomorrow. Luckily I made it home before Aiden who came home with a bruise on his chin and a couple scratches. His best friend right by his side with less bruises and scratches.

"Long day?" I asked

My hair was wet from getting a shower to undo the braid Zoey had put in. When she braided my hair she braided it a bit tight but that was good for me. I was dressed for night so no one would know about my little adventure outside the place and in the ring. Atem was looking at me with that similar look when we were in school.

"Yeah pretty much. I made $6000 dollars tonight." Aiden said "need any money?"

"Nah, I gotta model gig tomorrow and I'll be out when you're heading out." I said

I nod before heading to bed as usual not speaking to Atem as usual. I wondered what he wanted with me with how he looked at me. As much as I could socialize with him with the reputation I'd rather avoid the whole problem. I knew it wouldn't be right away but if I fought everyday and it kept going up $50 at a time then I had a chance to make some really good money.

This isn't a full solution to street fight for the rest of my life but for now it'll help me. It won't be cheap to get the place up and going. I thought

My mine made up I knew I had to get stronger and more dedicated to the cause as I sighed. Still I walked with my friends as we headed out to the arena and in there we started training more. I had more resolve this time so I was actually learning with our session.

Again when we headed to the place I was dressed up and got things taken care of. I wanted nothing more than to get this done and over with before we headed out. The fight is nothing to talk about as I won as usual and took him $100.

For weeks this happened and I fought 4 out of the seven days a week. If I got hurt I blamed it on Laila who was my school bully. My aunt who was my doctor bought the lie every time and I had to be thankful she didn't question it.

This happened to be one of those days and I was on the side line having to let my arm heal a bit so I was glad it was on the days I didn't show up.I walked in my room and counted out the money.

"Nice, $10,105. It's a small amount but it's only a portion of what I need to have such a big place to feed those in need." I said

Every time I've won so far I've gave the kids at least $20 of my winnings to get food from the place the orphanage lady lets them go to. I thought

I was doing my homework after counting it putting it back in the place where it was safest and doing some things. I had my door open so when I heard Aiden come in the house clearly talking to his friend about someone. I knew I had twenty wins now. So My next full amount when I got back in would be $1500 dollars.

"Man, I can't believe that there is a girl street fighter who hasn't lost once since she started. This Bre must be something to win twenty battles in over a month." Aiden said

"Well she's got my interest." Atem said

I looked towards the door hearing them talk and realized I was becoming the girl of talk with my winnings. If I lost I wouldn't get any money on the fight night to help the kids. Zoey had backup but that didn't mean that I was going to lose.

Guys vs girls isn't allowed. I thought

I went back and finished my homework as I was going to figure out what to do. Finals before graduation were coming up and I wanted to be prepared. I didn't want to think about if I lost but I knew I could figure out what more I could do. Sure I could of gone to grandfather for a loan but I didn't want to be obligated to do as he says.

When I as done I walked out there and was heading out to do things. As I was making my way to the door Aiden grabbed my good arm seeing the bandage. He would have known that I would say Laila did it and as I looked past him seeing even Atem looked a bit angered.

"Laila again?" Aiden said

"Not exactly her but people associated with her." I said

"Tell me their names and I'll take care of them." Aiden said

"Nah, it's fine. Zoey already took care of it." I said

"Britt.." Aiden said

I pulled my arm away as I walked to the door and put my coat on. On my off days of not fighting I modeled for spare money to get closer to the goal. Modeling was a safer way to get the money and Mrs. Knight knew of my goal.

"I'm going to the Knight Parlor." I said

"Modeling?" Aiden asked

"Duh. Her other model canceled." I said

"Be safe." Atem said

I just nod as I headed out and closed the door as I walked to the Knight Parlor. I heard footsteps behind me and I knew who was following me as my sisters walked on each side of me.

"I push my muscles a bit too much in street fighting." I admit

Nana and Bre made me stop as they looked at me "You..street fight?"

"Yeah, I'm Bre." I admitted

My sisters looked at me shocked and we kept walking as I was going to the Knight Parlor. When we arrived Tanya was there and she led me over to the dresses. My sisters watched as we were there a good four hours and I was allowed to keep some of the dresses. Bre got to choose if she wanted any as well since we were twins we were the same size.

"You do so well." Nana said

"I've been doing this for a few years." I said

"Well yes." Nana said

Mrs. Knight walked over and handed me an envelope and I took it. The money was for the charity I was working to make and I didn't want to open a small one I wanted to open a big one.

"If you need anything please reach out." Mrs. Knight said

"I appreciate it." I said

"Your goal is going to help a lot of kids in need." Mrs. Knight said

I nod and smiled

Time Traveler pt.2

How does one takeout when the pharaoh who claims to be your past life's husband is saying you're a reincarnation. I realized quickly he isn't going to let it go and Yugi wanted me to find him when I returned. I was so confused on the whole thing meanwhile I heard the door open and I felt someone hug my leg. I looked down seeing a little boy who looked like him. I kneeled down to his level to look at him.

"Hello." I said

He looked at me and I got a better look at his face his hair was similar to the Pharaohs and those bangs were clearly his but that side of the bangs was brown.

"Mama?" Rei asked

"uh.." I said and looked at the Pharaoh who nod as I carefully picked him up holding him and I felt this connection. "Remind me, what is your name?" I said playing along

"Rei!" Rei said with a smile

I felt a sense of sadness within me when it came to this little boy in my arms. His mom was taken from him and according to his dad I was her reincarnation. The five girls seemed to notice my behavior with him and I started smiling.

"Well Rei, give me some time my memory is a bit fuzzy." I said

I questioned what that meant but they led me off and put gloves on my hands clearly to conceal that I did not have a ring on. When we were heading out to the village I was going to figure out what was happening when we made it to there people all came up to me speaking in ancient Egyptian and surprisingly I could understand them.

"My Queen, we hoped you are feeling better." One said

I just smiled and nod

"My Queen can you help us." Another said

I noticed that a person was harmed and as if on instinct there was a need to help them. The girls brought over water and everything next was just pure instinct when it came to what was going on. I raised my hand and water came out as I walked over and helped the injured person. I had no idea that inside the palace one of the priests had used magic for the Pharaoh to watch my every move. Turns out after I helped one then others came over but since I was unaware of the side effects it was going to have I helped them till the lead guard Zahra stopped me.

"Your Queen must rest, she can't over do it this power does use her energy." Zahra said

The people bowed and they offered me things for my help but I refused due to the fact I was not wanting anything from them. How could I take from those who paid taxes and were struggling to get through life in this era. The group then took me back to the palace where I was greeted by the Pharaoh and his court.

"You are right Pharaoh, she is the Queen reincarnated. Time flows differently over her vessel so we must use a potion to make sure when she returns to her time." Isis said

"Meaning?" Atem asked

"If she takes her role in this life as Queen like she is supposed to so events stay the same and she would to lay with you. It would look bad on her future self as I am sure that there are rules." Isis said

Atem didn't seem to like the idea but he did accept it and his friend/priest who had magic offered to make such potion. I was going to question it when a hyper brunette suddenly jumped up and I felt someone hug me from behind. I wasn't one for strangers so I freaked out a bit.

"Britt, you shouldn't make people worry so much." The female said

"Mana!" Atem said standing up and going over with Mahad as Mahad picked her up and set her down while Atem pulled me to him. "What I can't say hi to my friend who you married." Mana said

"It is not the same Britt." Atem said

Mana looked at me and I just looked at her confused

"Her Hecka is the same." Mana said

"Her Ba is the same too but the memories are locked within." Atem said

"Ba? Hecka?" I asked

"Your soul and your magic." Mahad said "we call them Ba and Hecka, but your hecka seems drained have you been using it today?"

I merely nod and noticed everyone gave me a look of concern but also understanding. I knew the Queen had helped the villagers and I realized quickly I'd read about this time era. I knew how this was supposed to go.

I was the Nile Princess in this life. I thought

The realization went through me as the power glowed around me. I blacked out before anything more could be done and I felt someone grab me. I was drained my mind was everywhere but what more could I say at this point.

Pharaoh and reincarnated Queen’s adventures pt. 2

After the tournament Britt spent time around her cousins, their names were Hathor, Gabrielle, and Makayla. Gabrielle and Hathor were around Britt's age and Makayla was younger than them by a few years. Britt would look at her deck while they were talking and seeing she was distracted Hathor snapped her fingers in front of her eyes making her blink then look at her.

"Huh? What?" Britt asked her

"I said, now that you are champ. Are you going to finally find yourself a boyfriend?" Hathor asked

"oh, uh.." Britt thought back a couple years when she was eight remembering the man's visit and his words about her destiny. "I...might. I don't know if I'm supposed to though." Britt said

Hathor and Gabrielle looked at her hearing her words "What do you mean? You're not supposed to." They said and Britt sighed.

"A few years ago, I got a visit from a man wearing robes. Mom had him come back to the house and he said something big...like I'm supposed to be for someone important." Britt said

As much as they wanted to pry they didn't because they knew she wouldn't give them that information even if they asked. Hathor on the other hand was still wanting to know so once Gabrielle and Makayla left, she more asked about it.

Britt sighed a bit before she pulled her arm up and showed the bracelet to her cousin. "This Hathor. By wearing this it means that...I'm a reincarnation of a Queen that lived a long time ago." Britt said

Hathor couldn't believe all this but she seen Britt knew. She had to ask her one thing though "So is that why you reject Jake?" Hathor asked

The blonde Egyptian had been around for years, he was a childhood friend to Britt who'd had a massive crush on her for the longest time, Britt had been rejecting him due to she didn't feel the same way.

"No, I reject him because he's like a brother to me." Britt said to Hathor

The two got up and started walking to her home, they knew that eventually she'd have to come against whatever the man in robes meant. Little did they know that a woman was watching them, she had black hair and blue eyes watching as the woman was a tomb keeper who had been in charge of watching for the return of the Pharaoh and Queen.

When they walked in the house, Britt seen her parents with a letter. She wondered what they were looking at so she asked.

"Mother, Father what are you looking at?" Britt asked

"It's for the student exchange program, the school has chosen you and your sisters along with Hathor to be exchange students over in Domino City." Max said as he handed her the paper.

Britt looked over the paper reading it as Hathor was getting excited. "Domino City? That's where I heard Yugi Motou lives, he won against Seto Kaiba." Hathor said excited to meet the boy who beat the champ.

"Motou? Wait, Dad don't you have a colluge named Solomon Motou?" Britt asked

Max nod as he rubbed the back of his head "I have called him, he just got out of the hospital and said you girls can stay with them while you are exchange students." Max said

"If you like it better in Domino City, then we may consider moving there." Angela said to her daughter.

Britt loved her parents but thinking of going somewhere without them bugged her. She knew she'd have her sisters and cousin but she was leaving behind a lot. Her family, her friends and most importantly people who were always asking her to duel. That last part didn't bug her, she was glad to get away from it all. She left with her cousin as they went to her friends shop who had dresses of all sorts. Her name was Tanya and she was the daughter of the owners she helped out there.

"Britt! My favorite customer and friend. What can I do you for?" Tanya asked her

"Hi Tanya, I need a few outfits for my travels. I'm leaving Egypt with my sisters and cousin for the student exchange program." Britt said

Tanya was shocked due to she'd have Britt model their clothes now that she was champ. It brought in good business and she was more surprised on hearing about the program.

"So, you planning to pick up a boyfriend?" Tanya asked

Hathor laughed a bit "She might, but we will have to see who this special guy is she's supposed to be waiting for." Hathor said

Tanya had Britt come over as they went through, she figured for traveling Britt was looking for something nice to wear.

Uniting Egypt pt. 2

Britt's POV:

Once the meeting was over I ran out going straight to my room and I refused to cry. There's a secret to why it has to be me to end this war. The two families are fighting cause of an old dragon fight. The red dragons are tied in with the main royal family and the blue dragons in my own family. I went and let my dress fall off as I walked in the bath the intricates that shined brighter than my own family members on my mother's side of the family. The blue dragon flowed through us and I was the Nile Princess which is why I could control my friend's dragon so well. Thinking of this as I relaxed in the bath my personal servant prepared I knew fate was unstoppable.

when the dragon tries to come out in us. Our eyes will change into a blue color...so the Pharaoh..his amythest eyes must change red when the red dragon comes forth in him. I thought

The Pharaoh had left I knew that with his general so I had no choice but to go meet him at his palace. Water was my domain as the Nile Princess but the secret I had was I never shifted like my mother and grandfather. I wasn't wanting to but somehow I felt he had so I had to be careful. Mother said my powers would be the most powerful out of all of my people. We were worshiped but I didn't want it.

Kira came in and helped me with cleaning since my thoughts were all over the place. I saw her look and I wasn't paying attention to my skin. She was though and her surprised look was enough for me to know something was going on.

"Penny for your thoughts?" I asked her

"Sorry Britt, but you're glowing quite bright today. Your shift must be coming soon." Kira said

I didn't really care but I wasn't going to let anymore bloodshed happen. I got up when she was done and got myself dressed seeing the glow she talked about. I saw that dragon in my dreams where it was lingering waiting for me to call it forth. I didn't want to become so reliant on the other side of me but I was keeping myself back.

I walked down having dinner with my family and my sisters noticed my way of thinking. Aidan looked at me and he smirked a bit. He had already called forth the dragon within him, they all had while I had learned by magics of my nile gifts. I was alone being dormant and I ate in quiet.

"So it's true, you'll be the Pharaohs bride." Aidan said

"Aw Dante is going to be so sad." Bre said "Considering he's your head guard."

"I'm aware." I said

After dinner I excused myself to go get some rest, the travel would be long for me since I was going by horse. I didn't care much for whatever they wanted to talk about as I tried to rest. I had the same dream of a place I always was and before me was the dragon. I wasn't scared as it came close and I placed a hand on the head knowing that this dragon and I were the same. I spent my dream talking with it about my fears and things.

By morning we had a family meal and I was preparing to leave with a select group. I didn't want my family at risk so I opted for traveling with my guards and girls. As I went out to my horse my grandfather came out and placed a flower in my hair.

"Be safe." He said

"Yes Grandfather." I said

I walked with my horse as the gates opened and I was surprised to see the people there to see me off. A little girl walked forward presenting flowers to me and I smiled as i accepted them.

"thank you" I said

"Please return someday Princess." The little girl said

I nod, before getting up on my horse being careful not to harm the flowers and set off for the Pharaoh's palace. Our travels took time and during that time I took comfort in the Captain's tent. He would watch over at me at night and on one night he woke me up from a bad dream.

"Britt.." He said concern in his eyes

"I'm okay...Dante." I said

He still looked concern with that medium brown hair and blue eyes looking at me. It made me wish I had a choice but I didn't. Sure I had a girls crush on this soldier but I was never allowed anything more. He knew that too as he nod and let me rest before heading out of the tent.

a girl's crush...nothing more...my hand in marriage to the Pharaoh...born of the red dragon.. I thought

A total of two weeks passed before we arrived and I was exhausted but as we made it to the village people were staring at us and talking. I was the Princess that stopped the war and we were from the other kingdom. A necklace I wore besides my nile amulet was one with my family crest. I was King Maahes granddaughter and I wore my family's crest with pride.

"Halt!" The guard said when we reached the palace

"I am Princess Brittania, of the Nile Kingdom. The Pharaoh is expecting me." I said to them

"Do you have an escort?" One asked

"What?"Iasked and I was annoyed wondering what trickery this was knowing his highness knew I was coming.

Yandere Jail pt. 1

Britt's POV:

I don't know how or why it happened but cops came to my family home and arrested me just cause some people said I did it. I've never hurt anyone but when they took me in they decided just in case to hold me in prison while under investigations. I was led to a room as I passed cells hearing people whistle at me. I noticed the cells were a mix of boys and girls some with just boys.

"Here is your cell, play nice." He said to me and then yelled in "Sehkret you got a roommate, be nice to the girl."

Sehkret..oh please don't be.. I thought

When I walked in and saw his back, that tan skin that matched mine and that spikey hair I knew who it was. See I'd had a crush on him in high school but every girl wanted him so I let my chance go. I never thought I'd see him again after graduation but I wondered...why was he here? He turned around and I was shocked, those once violet eyes I couldn't stop staring at in school were a dark red color.

"Petrova, what are you doing in a place like this?" He asked

"I was framed.." I said

Atem's POV:

"I was framed.." She said

This girl was too innocent for her own good, even I knew that. She wouldn't last a day here with how the men were. I knew I'd have to look out for her especially with us being cellmates while she was here.

"Why are you here? Your eyes th-their red.." She asked me

"I've been here for a little while now, this isn't the place for good girls like yourself. I went overseas to Japan for some time when I came back my girlfriend had another guy in her bed so I killed him in front of her." I said

I walked overseeing she wouldn't even look at me and I had her look in my eyes. Her eyes shown she was scared and for someone who never did anything wrong, I knew she was. I smirked though seeing she wasn't that bad looking.

"No worries, you'll be safe with me." I said to her Damn, why didn't I notice her more back in high school? Maybe because she didn't try like the others. I thought

"Which bunk do you want? Top or bottom?" I asked her

"Uh t-top.." She said

I nod as I let her go and she went over climbing the steps as she laid down. I went and sat down as I heard her crying softly. She was so different than that bitch I was here over.

Britt's POV:

I had softly cried myself to sleep since there was nothing better to do. Damn that Laila she'd gotten away with it and I was suffering the consequences because she had something of mine at the crime scene. I was awakened by the sound of the guards told us we could go out. I got down as I walked, some of the girls on the inside briefly talked with me.

"You should know the rules in this place." Kaitlyn said

"What rules?" I asked

"Your cell-mate, if he's a man then until you're free from here he owns you. He can do whatever he wants to you and the guards won't do nothing." Kaitlyn said "Wait what? That can't be.." I said

"It's true. See over there, the redhead. She was new like you but her cellmate is a man. He made her submit to him and to be only his..even if she gets out of here she's his cause he branded her. That happens here too, so your cellmate could do it to you." Kaitlyn said

I had looked overseeing the girl Savannah I was aware she'd had a male cellmate too named Derek. I couldn't imagine what she may have gone through to get to where she was. I did see on her neck a brand mark and shivered a bit knowing she'd never get free. I didn't think Atem would be that way, he never showed me the time of day in high school so why would he now? Even so, I was gonna get out when they realized I was innocent. I talked with Kaitlyn until I felt a pair of arms snake around me. "Snow, I see you met my new cellmate Britt. She's way too innocent for this place believe me I know she couldn't even speak up in school." Atem said

"We can make sure she's not messed with, are you claiming her?" Kaitlyn asked him "We all know you have a gal outside this place."

"Had, she was a waste of time." Atem said then I felt his gaze shift on me and I looked up at him. To say he didn't scare me in some way was an understatement but to think that I was over my crush on him was a lie. He adjusted me to seem to get a good view of me. "Such a pretty girl you are, I bet you're loyal, unlike the slut." Atem said as he smirked then looked at Kaitlyn "I am going to claim her, so let everyone know the innocent princess here is mine." He said and I opened my mouth to protest but he glared so I shut it.

When he's not glaring or trying to be so...dominate he's still attractive. I thought

Atem's POV: I dragged her out of there before anyone could stop me as I took her to our cell and closed the door. I heard her move fast and go to the top bunk as she sat there with her back to me. I chuckled some watching that long hair of hers that reached to the middle of her back. I walked over standing and looking up at her.

"You think they'll get you out? Your family?" I asked

Supernatural Court pt. 1

There is a dark court and a light court, the dark court is your supernaturals that come out in the night. Vampires, Werewolves, Demons, Etc. Then there is the light court that have a variety of people mostly Witches. Then there is those that are considered Rare. Meaning not born within the groups but possess power not related to any of their family. I am one of those rare beings along with my sisters.

Each of the groups has a leader called the lead of the group and each lead chooses a 2nd in command. When grandfather had sent us to a group of witches and Sirens led by one lead with no 2nd in command so they trained us in our gifted magics.

Over time I got a long with a few of them and they became my good friends. Kayla, a witch in the group was the one who always talked with me. I knew there was so much more going on and no one was telling me.

"So what's with all the whispering?" I asked

"It's getting close to the dark moon party, it's a time the dark and light creatures come together as the leads sit at the high table to discuss things." Kayla said "it's also the time cupids try to do matches and try to hook up people to find their true mate." "Mate?" I asked

"Yeah." Kayla said "So true mate is the only thing that brings true happiness and treaties among the courts." "Explain a little more? How does one know?" I asked

"Well, first off Vampires know by the smell of blood. Their True Mate has the sweetest smelling blood. Werewolves their inner wolf knows through a kiss, Mermaids trade scales I assume, ShapeShifters well their true mate can see their true form." Kayla said

"Witches?" I asked

"We're sorta like Human, we know by sight but then sometimes we get a cupid hookup that will reveal the true mate by being very bright in the room. Only one." Kayla said "So it'd be the same for you but who knows since you're the princess, you could be a true mate to one of the supernatural groups." I merely nod as I sighed a bit still a meeting was called so all of us were brought to the middle of the witches hang out. I didn't really give it a lot of thought as my sisters and I were living there temporarily while under the training. The leader of Witches and Sirens was a good friend of mine Zoey. She walked towards the group and she took my wrist as she brought me out there with her.

"For a long time I haven't found anyone worthy of being my 2nd, but this girl who has done everything we asked and showed much progress has earned the right to become 2nd of us." Zoey said "Who will back my claim?" "I will" Kayla and Kaitlyn said

I was in shock to hear that she considered me for being her 2nd. From what I had learned I knew 2nd in commands got to sit with all the 2nds so I would be sitting with more supernatural beings than just the witches. Still I knew that this dark moon party was close.

"Is this due to the dark moon party?" I asked

"Partially." Zoey said "The other reason is the other leads are saying I need a 2nd."

"Uh huh." I said

We went about the rest of the day like everything was fine but I wondered about if this was going to work out. I asked a few of them about what to expect when it came to the other things. One thing caught my attention when Kaitlyn spoke.

"Well your a virgin and the cupids will try to do a set up." Kaitlyn said "But uh, the Vampire King is looking for a Queen but can only be with his true mate." "Well I doubt I'd be that." I said

"Well he also can take a bride of royalty." Kayla added

I wasn't sure what to think about that but knew I had to just smile and nod. My grandfather would jump at the thought of marrying into another kingdom. Still I had to make good on this. So I went and prepared for the thing.

A couple days passed and soon we were leaving to go to the dark moon party. I decided to go in my nile blue dress to represent my home too. My sisters were told to stay back for this one that Zoey didn't want to overwhelm the group of supernatural beings with more than one human. My sisters understood so they stayed behind.

During the long travel we were there before I knew it thanks to Zoe's magic. When we arrived the guards all seemed surprised and Zoey got down first from hers before telling the guards to back up and she helped me down then she used magic to lead heb with the rest of the horses. I was surprised but kept my calm.

When we walked in the vampire King's 2nd Seto came over greeting Zoey and he looked at me. Before he could say anything on me being human Zoey put her hand up.

"My 2nd, if you have a problem with it I can talk to your lead." Zoey said

"No, if she's your 2nd then she is welcomed here." Seto said

Atem's pov: Tonight was important for the supernatural group, I was trying to get the role of high king among supernaturals tonight. I figured that no one would object and I had to backups of the werewolf lead and 2nd. I sat in my throne watching people come and go as they liked but then I caught the scent of something...sweet!

I've never smelled something so sweet before.. I thought

Seto my 2nd has been trying to push me to marry someone, anyone in particular. I didn't want to consider it with my turn rate not so high and I like so many before me wanted my true mate. I realized If I was smelling something sweet then the one who was destined to be my true mate was here somewhere.

Where are you? I thought

I got up from my throne before going over to the table where leads would sit. I was working on making a good impression with them to get the vote. Sadly when I did the lead mermaid Tea was practically all over me. I didn't like it and I wasn't attracted to her. Britt's pov:

Ever have the feeling you are so out of place you have to find your own way. Yeah for the first time I felt that way among all these supernatural creatures when Kayla walked me to a place to sit before we sat down. I noticed a girl short brown hair and a headband reading a book. Meanwhile another group of light supernaturals came in with their lead a girl with white hair blue eyes and pale skin.

The Master pt. 10

I was asleep for awhile but when I woke up I was still in the middle of them. I recalled what happened and put my hand on where it stung still. I got up and knew where the shower was as I went and cleaned myself off. I figured I'd just have to wear my clothes from the night before but when I walked out I saw fresh clothes waiting for me.

I didn't bring those but they look similar to what I wear. I thought

I put them on and noticed they were a perfect fit and looked in the mirror. The mark he made permanent was bruised slightly. I sighed knowing I just gave in but this was to protect myself. When I walked out I noticed Dante was already dressed and had his arms crossed.

"Yo" Dante said

"We're not talking about this." I said as I started to walk past him

"I have to keep watch on you outside this place. He's not really supposed to leave the mansion unless he necessarily has to." Dante said and handed me a box.

"What's this?" I asked taking it and opening it seeing a ring. "Dante, you know I can'-"

"Not from me, from Atem. He knows you just handed over yourself but this is to preserve your soul and allow you access to the whole house. He doesn't want you to change." Dante said

"I thought that's how it works, becoming his in exchange for a wish and my soul?" Britt asked

"Loopholes, everything has them." Dante said

I took the ring out and I put it on my finger feeling a surge and I still felt whole. As I saw the ring glow after it was on and I knew that for now I was still safe. I was heading for the door when I saw he was there at the door. He walked over and kissed me as I kissed him back.

"Be careful out there." Atem said "Too bad you're bound by rules." I said

"I could break them if I have to. You'd be my connection to get out now that you're mine." Atem said as he moved my hair I was using to hide his mark. "After all I have to meet your parents and inform them of your wish otherwise I can't fulfill it."

"So another loophole." I said

"In a way. We'll discuss details when you return tonight." Atem said

"I never said I wou-" I started but he cut me off with a finger to my lips "Part of the arrangement, you sleep here now. Just tell your parents tonight your going to a friends." Atem said "Tomorrow night we'll talk to them."

I nod as went out to meet with my friends as they were waiting for me at the cafe. I was going to spend time with them as we all sat down. I started noticing things though when we all sat down. Each of them had a mark on them that I hadn't noticed before and I realized why. Once the marks were permanent they were supposed to be hidden from the human eye.

"So that's a new outfit." Zoey said "You get a boyfriend." "Something like that." I said

Nina gasped "Britt got a boyfriend?" Nina said "Cut the crap, you all have marks. When were you going to tell me?" I asked

I saw the five of them look at each other in shock that I could see the marks. I questioned just what they did and didn't know. I moved my hair revealing the mark on myself and they saw the ring on my hand. My mark was red slightly so they knew it was new.

"When did that happen?" Olivia asked

"Last night, One of the best nights of my life I guess." I said

"Oh so you had your first?" Heather said

"Oh no. I had my first two nights ago but when were you all going to tell me you're immortal?" I asked

"It happened this week." They all answered

I was shocked to hear this while I had been humoring the idea of being with a master for a few days to weeks. We talked about a variety of things and Dante entered as we nod at each other as he walked past. The girls noticed looking at me curiously.

"It's complicated but he has to keep watch on me for the one who marked me." I said

"Careful, he probably wants in your pants." Heather warned

"Would that really be such a bad thing?" I asked

"Um you're not supposed to be with anyone but the master you're marked to." Olivia said

"I wish it was that easy but there are exceptions. Seems all of yours are just too simple minded and unwinding to let you have someone to talk to in day light." I said

Kaitlyn soon joined us and she had gotten everyone drinks as she gave everyone a drink. She sat by me and moved my hair some seeing the redness In my skin. Her surprise look showed she hadn't expected me to actually go along with his demand. I looked at her as she thought about it.

"I see you decided." Kaitlyn said "Oh yes and I got told about the other things." I said "Oh. I see, not every master allows such things but I take it you're allowed." Kaitlyn said "You could say that." Britt said "I'm sure for appearances mostly."

Kaitlyn noticed the ring and she looked at me as I looked at her but she took it and noticed how it glowed. I removed my hand and had my other hand on the ring.

"He's given her a ring to preserve her soul instead of just taking it like the other masters do." Kaitlyn said

"What?" The girls asked shocked

"You heard me." Kaitlyn said

I was going to do something or say something when Dante came over putting a hand on my shoulder. Dante was very handsome and the fact he had to follow so strict rules still surprised me. I stood up and looked at him infant of my group of friends.

"Something wrong?" I asked

"Help me out, Laila and Atiyah won't leave me alone." Dante said

"You want me to be the girl on your arm?" I asked

"Exactly." Dante said

I nod in agreement as I walked over with him to Laila who was walking over to get near him. I got in front of him and crossed my arms as I looked at her. She seemed to not expect me to do so but I knew how to work my magic sort of speaking when it came to her.

"Why are you bothering him?" I asked

"He's single and so hot." Laila said

"He's not single. We got together last night. Best night ever." I said

I was glad that I didn't have to lie since I did sleep with him last night and then again with Atem also there. I noticed I wasn't sore at all but I had that feeling with it being that I gave in to being Atem's last night. Laila was just in shock since I was such a good girl but I was going to enjoy this time.

"You..you're lying." Laila said

"Am I?" I asked

"Prove it." Laila said

Dante pulled me close and before I could even think of a move he planted a kiss on my lips. I kissed him back placing a hand on his shirt to make it look as real as ever. I was just enjoying my moment for a minute that I got a bit into it more than I should have. When Dante and I pulled away from air we looked at her and she just fumed with anger and walked away.

"Worked like a charm." I said

"You did well." Dante said

I nod as I got free of him and walked back sitting my drink down. Kaitlyn looked at me for a moment and I just kept drinking my drink listening to the girls. I knew Kaitlyn would ask so when the girls left and I was getting up to leave as well she caught my arm. I looked at her wondering what was going on.

"How many times have you...been with Atem?" Kaitlyn asked

"uh Twice, why?" I asked "How many times have you been with Dante?" Kaitlyn asked "Twice, last time was both of them." I said

"Come with me." Kaitlyn said

Kaitlyn didn't let me say no or try to get away as she walked out of the place. Dante noticed but he knew to look normal he couldn't follow me everywhere. I kept walking with her but felt like she was dragging me more than anything else. I knew that there was a cause behind this and she brought me to her home.

"Why are we here?" I asked

"We need something specific." Kaitlyn said walking in

I followed her and when she let me go I rubbed my wrist and waited where she left me. I noticed that her 'grandmother' who was her mother walked out and offered me something to drink. I accepted and looked at her knowing she was so old and Kaitlyn was so young being with a master.

How can she live with her mom growing old and dying? I thought knowing I couldn't deal with that.

Kaitlyn came back and she waited for me to finish my drink before she took me with her and pushed me in the bathroom. I was gonna ask why she did that when I noticed there was a test. I looked at it for a minute then looked in the mirror remembering my times with them.

Ah shit. I thought

I figured out what to do as I got ready and did the test. I had to wait ten minutes instead of the human three minutes because this one was a supernatural kind. I paced for that time and Kaitlyn was talking to me about how it'd be ok. That Atem would take care of me no matter what.

"Look I wasn't thinking." I said

"After being with a master, we normally don't." Kaitlyn said "Your baby is that the first one?" I asked

"No, the baby is not the first. My oldest was born more like his father than me." Kaitlyn said "this would be your first." "Possibly but I was with both of them how will I know which is which?" I asked

"Oh you don't know?" Kaitlyn asked and I shook my head "you probably conceived on your first if you are. Not a Guarantee." I was shocked and I waited for a few minutes when the timer went off but as I looked at the bathroom I hesitated. I questioned if this was the way I planned things out or if I even had a plan to be a mom ever. I walked in and picked it up as I closed my eyes.

What do I do? I'm scared to look? I thought

Dragon King’s Bride pt. 11

I was beginning to understand a lot when it came to the demon king and my past incarnations relationship. I mean they were in love and she wanted to come back to him so that's how I was born. I was her wish, her dream of what she could be when she got back with him. I was also a dragon so there was that too which I recently learned.

"What would you want to do?" Atem asked

"Help the less fortunate?" I said

"We can do that but not alone." Atem Said

I knew that was true my attacker was somewhere and we still didn't know why I was attacked. Scratch that I knew why I was attacked many people wanted to marry the Dragon king. Be his Queen, every single girl in the village admired him except I didn't at first. I remember that he had the village tested for my return after I brought the gifts frp, the village.

Who could have done it? The guest list was small with who was close to us and the villagers could see from a farther distance. I thought

The idea that someone close to me was the cause of harm made my head hurt. I trusted a certain group of friends, the main girls were here to help protect me but then there were others I trusted. Tanya and Kayla, when I thought about it Kayla did get to try the ring on.

Kayla admired him. Kayla had tried the ring on just before they had me try it on...she couldn't have.. I thought

Atem noticed my thoughts and I felt him put a hand on my shoulder. I looked at him at first a bit startled but he put his other hand on my cheek. I put a hand on his and looked at him seeing his concern.

"You have an idea who did it." Atem said

"I hope I am wrong." I said

"tell me." Atem said

"I think..and it might not be her.." I started which made him cut me off

"Her?" Atem asked

"Someone named Kayla, she tried the ring on before I did. It wouldn't fit her nor did it change color." I said

He put his head against mine and I thought he was just being sweet. Truth was he was getting in my head about Kayla, what I knew of her. Kayla, was a friend who had always been by my side through a lot of bad. I couldn't help think about the day they held the test and how much she looked at me with hate at first but next to her the other 8 girls looked at me the same way.

"9 options." Atem said

I just looked at him but he took my hand and led me out there. I questioned if my safety was going to be at risk with everything going on. I didn't know what more to do but he called a carriage a couple of the girls and a few guards.

What are we doing? I thought

When we got into the carriage and headed out to the village I questioned everything going on at once. My mind raced with a few things until I realized he went into my head without my permission. I was a bit annoyed with it but he wasn't holding me hostage. The travel to the village I lived in was short as he got out.

"Stay here." Atem said and looked at the girls "Watch her if she gets out"

When the door closed I could only watch as people approached him, he was ignoring them and walking over to someone. I hadn't realized who until I noticed the girl turn around seeing Kayla.

I saw Atem approach her and seeming to talk to her about the attack. She was answering his questions but also twirling her hair around her finger. I was angry so I got out and was about to go over when the girls pulled me back.

"Britt calm down." Nina said

"You could go into labor early." Heather said

Kayla noticed me and my pregnancy that we'd kept secret for my protection. When she was shocked and not glaring at me I realized it wasn't her. Sure she was a flirt but she wasn't going to do that to me. I calmed down only for Heather and Nina to pull me back as a knife went right past where I was standing.

That..that was too close.. I thought

After walking around the mall for a bit we looked over everything that there was but I wasn't really for it. Still, we came across Laila a few times, it felt like she was stalking us and I knew that there was nothing more we could do. My friends and I stopped and looked at Jewelry as I knew there was no need to hold back.

"May I help you girls?" The clerk asked

"My friend's boyfriend wants her to choose something nice and we wanted to see what you might have." Zoey said

"Are we talking necklace, rings, or earrings or bracelets?" The clerk asked

"a bracelet but maybe an engagement ring idea too." Zoey said

The person showed me a few rings that could be my engagement ring when Atem decided he wanted to push the issue. I tried them on but I wasn't sure it wasn't that but the expensive wasn't my usual. Still, I saw Zoey took pictures of what I tried on but I still looked at everything else.

Examples of the ring choices:

When we got into the bracelets I was happy to do something easy for him to say he bought it. I tried on one in particular that stood out to me only because of my birthstones in it. I tried it on and I smiled at how it looked. I wondered just how much it would cost since gemstones are costly in their own way.

"How much is this one?" I asked

"446.16 Egyptian Pounds" The clerk said

I hesitated but sent him a message about it knowing that it wasn't my card to use. As I sent the picture with it I waited a bit and he was quick to reply as I saw him text to get it. I questioned if he had something planned up his sleeve but then I knew tomorrow he would be planning to make Laila very jealous and then soon after was going to be the party where we would get her. So I bought the bracelet.

After getting the card back we walked around some more before starting to head out to the limo. I could stop by my home and get some clothes so that I could be able to return to school. I was able to get caught up on all my assignments so it was really easy to get everything done. My friends and I walked past Laila as we hurried out of the mall before she saw the bracelet and snuck into the limo.

"Did you get it?" Atem asked

"Right here." I said

I showed him the bracelet on my wrist and he smiled as he noticed I didn't have any clothes. I wasn't much for shopping when it came to a bunch of clothes unlike Laila who did it everyday. I gave the limo driver directions to my home address as I would just get the clothes from home. Keith seemed to notice I was very comfortable and he seemed to be questioning it too.

"You didn't get a lot." Keith said

"Just because I'm a girl, does not mean I shop irresponsibly besides anything I've been wearing has been from Knight Parlor." I said

"Knight Parlor?" Keith asked

"Britt Models in her spare time for a friend's mother so she gets clothes from the woman from time to time to help her business." Atem said

"yeah I do it on a regular basis." I said

Keith seemed surprised but I didn't care as my friends got out with me once we were right at my parents place. They were not there since they had to work but I was quick to get some things together so I had some clothes to wear for school. Then I headed out as my friends left to their homes and I got back in the limo. I had left a note for them letting them know I was safe when it came to where I was.

"So what is the plan for tomorrow?" Keith asked

"We get there early before Laila shows up, I let Britt go in first. Then after she goes in and Laila shows up I can walk over to her. With her books in her hands I can make a move on her." Atem said

"Make a move on me?" I asked

"yes. this" Atem said as he put a hand on my cheek and pulled me in for a kiss. I was receptive to his kiss before he pulled away.

"You think that will work?" Keith asked

"Well when I mention her bracelet in front of everyone and how I bought it that's when she's going to be livid." Atem said

"Anything else?" Keith asked

"Oh yes, but not something I'm going to share." Atem said

"I see." Keith said

Soon we got back to Atem's mansion and I was just glad that everything was going to work out as planned. I noticed how late it was getting and I started to yawn a bit knowing I was already worn out.
