STRAP IN DUDE THIS IS GONNA BE A LONG ONE (TURNING OFF CAPS LOCK IN 3... 2... 1...)

ok so Amon is, irl, an octopus fidget toy that i bought a year ago. I named it Amon, threw together a "human" design for him and called it a day. I thought he was going to be a small hyperfix, but I was very wrong.

Eventually I made an entire little tv show in my head to watch during class caused "Son of Satan" which follows our favorite little 7 year old try to make it through life while hiding the fact that hes a demon and that his father is, well, the devil. Simple, easy, i thought that was going to be a hyperfix. I was wrong when my gravity falls special interest was reawakened and immediately i made a way for Amon to be in there.

so originally he was going to be burned alive by his bestie which I cannot name due to trying to revamp it, and he was just going to take a vacation to hell as he regenerated. But as SoS got scrapped and I needed a way to incorporate my boy, I decided that they would just move out and that Amon would be legally considered dead because the police identified a pile of charred skin as a DNA match for Amon.

I made them move to Gravity Falls a little after the show ended to allow Amon and his dad to set up roots and also allow for Dipper and Mabel not to notice them the second they arrived. Specifically, they live in a house in the middle of the woods, far away from town but close enough to the Mystery Shack where its like a 15 minute walk.

as for his BACKSTORY... he was made, not born.

essentially our boy Luci was lonely and decided to make a son out of puppies, broken dreams, a stuffed animal of an octopus, and a bit of his own DNA in a test tube to make Amon. Amon means "the hidden one" because he hides his demonic heritage and because no one really knows he exists in hell. It also just so happened to be the first few letters of the term "A Monster", which I only realized after internalizing the name. Due to being made and not born, Amon has no sex identifying genitals or internal organs. His organs are needle felted. though he does carry blood due to the puppies used. Those are also where he gets his hyperactive personality.

Reminder that not all characters that people cosplay would be bad guys. That means like. Someone could be cosplaying as like. Hero or Kel from OMORI or some shit and they'd BE that character but they'd be friendly and they'd fight ALONGSIDE Dipper and Ford. Stranger and Omori would also be friendly, but who knows it might depend on the cosplayer's view of the character. (if you can't tell I really wanna see some of my favorite OMORI characters interact with the Pines)

Not to mention how awkward it would be for the cast to meet other versions of themselves, which are only real bc of the curse, of course, but still. It's WEIRD. Imagine you're fighting monsters and suddenly this guy who looks like you shows up. It would be hilarious though. Like

" who... Who are you? " " ... Dipper Pines. " " But. I'M Dipper Pines! "

" Nice to see you're making friends, my boy, but we have work to do. "

Ohhh and it would be funny if they ran into alternate universe versions of themselves, if people still cosplay au stuff.

Dipper goes by Mason because that's his "legal" name, and only his family (plus Amon lmao) call him Dipper. He's still trans, and made a deal with a lesser known entity to make him a biological male in return for never having a woman fall in love with him and he would never love another woman. At first this proved to be an issue, as no suitors wished to marry him. Little did he know that would become a nonissue.

Bill has no details as to make him seem more trusting and innocent, plus it fits the overall aesthetic of the au being regal and simplistic

Amon was born human, and appeared overall normal with normal eyes, normal teeth, everything being normal. He was born as a peasant working for a Lord, that being Lucifer (aka Luci, Amon's father figure). Until Bill cursed him after he accidentally summoned the demon, and the curse is to specifically make him a "monster" that "scares potential wives away". Bill had no idea Amon liked men in the first place.

ive already made the rough outline for the story

ive already figured out that bill cursed our poor boy, that dipper and mabel are the prince and princess of this kingdom, that ford was banished due to connections to bill and now stan rules over the lands, and that only girls can attend the ball where amon meets dipper because dipper hasn't gotten a suitor (thus the dress)
