Hello again!

I am sorry to report that, after a four-month hiatus, this blog will no longer update.

It's been a really fun experience, but I just couldn't keep up with it and besides, I'm not exclusively into GerAus anymore. Don't get me wrong, I still like it, but now I'm more Austria-oriented than I am Germany-oriented and that's problematic. Problematic because I have no Germany muse.

With that being said, I really appreciate the fact that you guys stuck with me even through all of these months. I'm sorry I made you wait so long to announce this, but... here we are. This is the end of askwursttorte.

It will stay up, of course, because I don't want to take it away, and I still want to laugh at things now and again—but just remember that from now on, it won't update again.

If you're still interested in my stuff, though, I have a Cardverse!Austria blog which I will be all too happy to answer GerAus asks on.

Ahh... it's hard to say goodbye to this blog and I don't want to... but... this is it.

Hello.

I'm sorry to pop in again but we'll be taking an indefinite hiatus.

Please forgive my actions, but I've lost motivation to continue the askblog now.

I will return to it when I feel like I have the ability to run it again.

For now, although I still like this pairing, it hasn't been inciting the same excitement that it used to.

How perplexing...

Perhaps describing it in such technical terms is not the way to go about it.

After all, not everybody is so fortunate as to know what that all means... especially if they lack the capability to hear it.

What are words like "adagio" when you don't know what "slow" sounds like?

It is Werther who has lost Lotte; it is Faust who, in sheer despair, must watch the world's treasures disappear before his failing vision; it is a man on his deathbed who has much more to do on this earth and yet lacks the means to do it.
