I love how I’m Stranger Things all the kids are like “by mom and dad I’m going to play DnD” and then go fight an inter-dimensional beast unlike any horror known on Earth; armed with like, a flashlight and flares.
An 18c Aziraphale in the style of Jean-Marc Nattier. SO much time is spent on the lace and the coat texture that this piece has become some sort of test of my patience, but I regret nothing as he turned out to be rather lovely. ❤️
You know what genuinely blows my mind is crafts and crafts people and their skills. Like who sat down hundreds of years ago and figured out how to weave ? And knit ? And crochet ? Who figured out how to melt rocks to make iron for weapons, tools and buildings ? Which person looked at the dirt in the ground and though “I can make something from this” ??? It’s boggles my mind that humans can do the things we do. Like medicine ??? Who saw a plant just chillin and was like ‘this is great for reducing inflammation’ ?!!?? And cut open a body for the first time to figure out how our organs work ?? I will never understand how great the minds of our ancestors were, but I wish I did.
Watched Turning Red and I have to say that the only people who don’t like it are probably people who grew up with little to no exposer to Tumblr, Fanfiction, family emotional trauma, Public schools and of course are straight men.
Can we make a list of all the shit to ask at the next SPN con and just keep it on a public google dock so everyone who gets to ask a question can go through it ? Can we ?
Random thought but still….as a queer person, I would much rather see media companies create well rounded and written queer characters than slap a queer label on some straight character that’s been around for years in the name of “representation”. That’s just me tho🤷🏻♀️
