me realising i gave up with proofreading at the end and thats why my spelling went from 50 to -69696969 real quick

marichat but its them bitching about everyone

ok so i have this idea/headcanon-thingy-ma-bob that one day mari has a rlly bad day overall and she just sits on her balcony rlly sad and everything with comfort food and hot chocolate looking at her colection of adrien photos and chat comes swinging on the roofs cause hes on patrol. he sees her all sad and he decides to pop in for a visit and just like lets her rant about literally EVERYTHING and she just bitches about like everyone and everything and chat just agrees with her and adds on little comments to the side like

"OKAY BUT WHY CANT MANON JUST STAY VERY STILL I DONT NEED HER RUNNING AROUND AND TRYYING TO PLAY WITH MY FABRIC SCISSORS."

and chat just goes

"ok so true though like she should just sit down and play with her dolls i dO NOT NEED HER AKUMATISED AGAIN! being a puppet once is more than enough for me..."

and so they do the whole paint each others nails (except its mostly chat painting maris toenails while she paint her fingernails because the LAST TIME he got nail polish on his suit plagg nearly cataclysmed his ass and that is not something adrien wanted to suffer through again) while smack talking and venting about everyone and everything to each other because it makes them feel better even though they dont mean a lot of the stuff they say, they just really need to vent.

and then one day they start btiching about their class till the only people these idiots havent bitched about are marinette and adrien. then one day chat realises this and gets curious so he tries to bitch about himself the next night like.

"so this adrien agreste kid hes pretty annoying like i dont get why hes so famous he literally just sits in front of a camera all da-"

but he never gets to finish his sentence cause mari is absolutely fuMING and goes off defending and complimenting EVERYTHING about adrien and chat just stares at her in awe like

"oh my god does she really think my eyes are the perfect summer green?" and "does my hair really shine and glint like the sun on my head?" and "do i really smell like if heaven was a scent?"

BUT

he makes the mistake of saying that last question aloud and he doesnt realise till he can hear absolutely nothing.

like noTHING NOTHING.

N O T H I N G.

its an absolute pin drop silence.

and so he looks up slightly and sees mari towering over him in a really awkward position because she was jabbing his chest and moving closer but now shes just really awkwardly half hovering over him, with her finger pointing at him and mouth wide open in absolute "wait,,, whAT THE HELL DID HE JUST SAY?!?!?!??!??"

and chat just smiles awkwardly and does his rlly awkward smile (the one he does in timetagger when he asks bunnyx about ladynoirs future with the heart but in this case its without the heart) and is just like

"hi"

and he just like yeets cause hes scared of what mari will think about him since hes chat noir and his ladys always told him hes a total flirt and sometimes he feels like he gets annoying and he just doesnt want mari to hate him and oh my god his ladys gonna hate him for letting his secret identity out so he dreads school and next day when he has patrol that night.

anD THEN BOOM NEXT DAY OF SCHOOL COMES (lets pretend there is a vvv cool transition here because text gets kinda boring at times)

and adrien just walks into class an hour early as he always does and OH MY GOD MARIS SITTING RIGHT THERE and thats a first cause she?? is?? always?? late?? but as soon as she sees him she drags him by his collar oUt of the classroom and just screams at him at first like

"whAT THE HELL MAN U JUST COMPROMISED UR SECRET IDENTITY"

but then it changes too

"aLSO BTICH THESE BAGS UNDER MY EYES ARE ALL YOUR FAULT I COULDNT SLEEP LAST NIGHT"

and shes not even mad over the bags under her eyes, she just needs to vent cause she angery and adrien just lets her because he knows she'll cool down in two seconds

and then she just burst into tears like

"im just so glad its you"

and hugs him rlly tight and adriens kinda confused cause he just zoned out half of her rant knowing shE JUST NEEDS TO COOL DOWN and is like

"huh?"

and she just goes

"silly kitty"

and hes kinda confused cause in that split second she looks exactly like ladybug, sound slike ladybug, everything about her is so ladybug like because of that one nickname and then it just dawns on him and hes like

"..."

and just faints

R.I.P adrien 2020

but it a-ok cause mari revives him and he just hugs her and kisses her cheek but not in the friendly french way in the i-kinda-like-no-i-love-you-way and theyre happy and everythings happy

and then chat blanc just happens again because they cant reveal themselves without completely jeopardising their entire relationship because their relationship ocne they reveal each other is so fragile since one of them is prone to negative emotions and u just realise if adrienette and the love sqyare is to happen it has to be after hawkmoth and akumas otherwise it wont happen so rip
