Whatever happens these next two episodes, I take comfort in knowing the Bad Batch tumblr community will be here to offer comfort and lean on one another for support. I’ve enjoyed my time here, from reading theories and fanfics, to admiring the art. I cherish this time.

Okay, I’ve not done one of my own angsty writings yet, but I’m sharing this one before there are no more episodes to watch…

This is written more like a script and less like an epic story like I see others do.

Enough stalling, here it is!

Omega: - but, but Crosshair... you'll die

Crosshair:*weakly shakes head* w-wrong. I died... a long time ago. *coughs and writhes in pain*

Omega: Don't move, be- be still,

Crosshair: Omega,

Omega: don't. *voice breaks, faulting authoritative tone*

[Beat]

Omega: I'm not letting you go *tears stream down her face*... not again

[Beat] *omega cries silently*

Crosshair: shh... *reaches up with a steady hand to gently brush her tears from her cheek*

Omega:*sobs, holding Crosshair's hand in both of hers*

Crosshair: shh, shh.. Omega, hey...

Omega: mh? *looks into his eyes*

Crosshair:*wipes away more of her tears, giving a mild smile of contentment and a nod*

This is as much as I could jot down as fast as I could before the rest escaped me.

No but it's...

the way they naturally fall into eachother's roles when the other isn't there.

the instinctual head-tilt when Crosshair stabilized his rifle on Tech's shoulder, as if they'd done it a thousand times before.

It's the fact that Tech clearly told Phee all about his brother.

It's the sad, fond smile on Crosshair's face when Omega said Tech made her memorize all the plans ("of course he did").

It's the way Tech knew exactly where to look for that mirror.
