i can feel my collar bones, so the dark of the car feels okay and the two talking next to me are okay, and it's an inside joke i wasn't there for and it's okay and i can feel my collar bones.

we're going for food - but i've been such a good girl all day - but it's okay. i can feel my right collar bone, so i haven't lost me yet; so it's okay.

i tap on them, hard, i wonder if they notice that it seems to bring me comfort, it's rhythmic, compulsory, and i wonder if one day i might just tap too hard and it'll break, and it will all be my fault.

i'll eat with them, so they feel okay, so it wasn't a waste and it looks easy. and it'll be fine that i ate, i promise because i can still feel my collar bones.

if i did not ask first, i think we'd never meet; it's always been this way though i've never more keenly felt her absence as i do now.

does she wonder, as i always do, how much more vivid the sun would be as it falls through the leaves like crystal, if we were seeing it together?

Mass cultural boycotts of Russian culture such as banning books by Dostoevsky, the Bolshoi, pulling Russian films from film festivals, operas, plays etc is extremely wrong because a disgraceful autocrat is carrying out atrocities that is not in the name of the Russian people. The bastardization and degrading of culture is always wrong and it can expand to wider barbarity and dehumanization. Censoring Russian art is not an anti-war position.
