The second I saw "tattoo artist Cas" in the summary description, I already knew that I was going to love this fic, and I was not proven incorrect! This fic features a Cas who is so very confident yet still capable of being charming and sincere when courting Dean. Meanwhile, Dean is a cocky camboy, yet still adorably wrong-footed when it comes to getting Castiel, the hot tattoo artist, on an actual date.

The sexual tension between these two is so thick that you could cut it with a knife. You'll spend half the scenes holding your breath and just waiting for either Dean or Cas to finally make a move. Drawing the sexual tension out, however, only makes it all that much sweeter when they finally DO come together.

Because this is Dean and Cas, things can never be easy for them. There are misunderstandings, and a truly villainous Crowley to stand in the way of their true love. This fic does touch on some heavier aspects, like revenge porn and an attempted sexual assault, so be warned before you dive in (neither of those is between Dean or Cas). However, the relationship between Dean and Cas is the real centerpiece of this fic. Cas is a commanding presence, and Dean is by turns vulnerable and brash--just the Dean we love. Definitely give this fic a look if you're looking for something to warm you up through these cold months!
