Why the actual fuck is the song "shine bright like a dimond" so fucking popular?

Oh but when silicon does it its "cheap" no one sings "shine bright like a glass window" because its fucking stupid.

And if you take the advice seriouse like, imagen whoever made the song was like "oh wait dimonds dont shine, oh wait i can make a comentary on the world"

THEN IT KIND OF MAKES SENSE????

Because in this current world its more important to look important and nice insted of being nice and good. Taking others achivments and reflecting them as if it where ones own (cancle culture and that bs)

And i find it facinating that that song kind of encapsulates that fuckung mindset without realizing its describing a broken system where in pretending to be relevant is good and desirable. Missing the point entierly that to shine oneself like a star/our sun is the real value of the world and that we dont actualy need to take such a burdeon upon us. To literaly burn ourselves for the greater good. Because think about it. What is the actual way a dimond can "shine". Thats right, liting it on fire, dying in the process wich in itself is slow and agonizing.
