I headcanon that Buck eventually becomes Captain of the 118, where he stays till he’s retired - he might do a few other things here and there but he always ends up back at the 118, his first home.

He’s still just as badass but becomes a little more levelheaded with age. His problem solving skills combined with his compassion and care for his team make the 118 the station that everyone wants to work at (not to mention his multiple tv appearances make him a bit of a star), but he picks his team with care - and once your part of the 118, you’re there for good. They’re always a family, not just a team (and he might have a soft spot of impulsive and reckless firefighters with a heart of gold that just need a little guidance).

He credits his leadership skills to Bobby, but if anyone asks, Bobby just beams with pride and says “I had nothing to do with it, that kid was always leadership material. He just needed to realise it himself.”

If you see a police car or a cop with a speaker looking thing on it, FUCKING RUN. It’s known as an LRAD (Long Range Acoustic Device), a device that, when activated, can permanently damage your hearing and cause serious harm.
