🎉Hello everyone! I'm 28 years old, and I'm looking for a partner for a Mortal Kombat 1 video game universe rp. This rp will eventually, contain NSFW content. The pairing will be Liu Kang and Shang Tsung, and be forewarned, I have given the sorcerer some background of my own, that may not be canon. I am wanting to write as Shang Tsung. My writing style is novel, and I usually write at least two paragraphs.

It will be based after the battle for peace. The new empress of Outworld holds a large festival for those who fought alongside them. This of course includes the sorcerer, though he has to spend a majority of it under the watchful eye of a certain demigod of fire. Sure to his many discrepancies, over multiple timelines, he was restricted to only visual effect magic, and healing magic, and only under "trusted supervision". During the days that the festivities are going, he starts to feel the already budding feelings he has for the demigod grow. The more time they were together. Eventually though, he slips away to an outdoor bar, and he ends up , strangely enough, befriending none other than Johnny Cage. He convinces Johnny to "supervise" him, so he can finally do some bigger magic. He shows the actor a big, grand illusion, involving two dragons dancing. Dragons that greatly resemble Liu Kang's. And naturally who should walk up, but the guardian of Earthrealm himself? The rp would either right before, or right after the little magic show.

At the moment, I am looking to explore a character-focused plot swathed in a grim victorian/edwardian setting! To give a little background:

Two sisters. One marries for love and ends up rearing a farm / living in the lush, fog-ridden countryside, poor but fairly content. The love of her life disappears (perhaps in the midst of war?) and is presumed dead, leaving her to raise their only daughter, Muse A, alone and pray for his return.

The other sister marries for money—ends up the wife of a wealthy, powerful man whom already has a son, Muse B, from his previous marriage.

Years pass with no correspondence or communication whatsoever between the sisters—until Muse A’s mother passes away suddenly, and she is forced to sell their farm, abandon their home, and live with an aunt she’s never even met. That is where she encounters Muse B.

I would love for there to be manipulation, bullying, torment, power imbalance - struggle, unresolved sexual tension, angst, the classic enemies-to-lovers trope.. all of that! I can’t wait to hear your ideas and build something disturbingly, gothically beautiful together.
