i have a confession to make regarding this buddie hug:

i do not remember a single other detail from this scene.

i couldn’t tell you the color of anyone’s clothes or what anyone is doing. i see this scene and my eyes are glued to eddie’s hand on buck’s side. truly that’s all i see. why is it there for so long? why didn’t they kiss? how does his hand fit so nicely there? i could study this moment for hours. they both have such big smiles on their faces. all other details are irrelevant.
