Or when someone does something they’ve had trouble doing, say, “Why can’t you do that all the time?” (Happened to me, too often.)

Or any sentence containing the word “finally”. 

If someone makes a step, a small step, in a direction you want to encourage, encourage it. Don’t complain about how it’s not enough. Don’t bring up previous stuff. Encourage it.

Because I swear to fucking god there is nothing more soul-killing, more motivation-crushing, than struggling to succeed and finding out that success and failure are both punished.

I realized that I may not have properly introduced myself. Oh, silly me! Hello trainers and pokemon of rotomblr! My name is Georgia Sandalo, and I am the Professor of of the JunPil region. It’s a med-large island group supposedly near Pokelantis. My home region is a common stopping point for migratory Pokemon, with a naturally wide variety of different Pokeberries that are very rare in other regions. This island is also a pilgrimage destination for people of Galar, Kalos, and Hoenn.

Name: Georgia(like the professor)

Born in 2000

This Fakemon region is based off of a mix of Jerusalem, as it’s a very well known pilgrimage destination for three of the major religions of the world; Louisiana, another big migration stop where people just stayed around; and the islands of the Caribbean. Also, Professor Sandalo has a “soft” Cajun accent with a sprinkling of Irish and Arabic pronunciations of some words.

This Fakemon region focuses primarily on branching evolutions and focuses more on Eevee than anything else.

She’s about 24, making her definitely one of the younger professors, and it’s more because her region just hasn’t had anyone step up as a researcher until she did in the middle of becoming a proper folk healer/nun. Her hair is loosely curly, in an asymmetrical and roughly cut bob and is dark blonde.

She keeps bandannas of various colors that she ties over her hair as a nod to the path she left behind as she keeps a protection ward pinned on her at all times, an nearly complete tattoo on her hand showing how far she was into her training before taking her new position as the region’s professor.

Her Pokemon would describe her as soft looking and looking like a young mother, while the elders of the village describe it as “being a shame” that she took a path that “broke the heart of every boy in the village”. I would describe her as being pleasantly plump and what many cultures seem to consider “very womanly”. I wanted her to be softer and at least pleasant looking because her condition makes exercise difficult, so it’s natural for her to be plump when you consider her inconsistently fluctuating diet(as in what she eats, not like dieting) and appetite.

She has moments of age regression to about 5-7, but her Pokemon take great care of her during this time.

Her partner Pokemon, a shiny male Sylveon named Sylph, is very protective and often stays pressed gently against her side to support her as she walks with her walking stick or cane. She has many other Eeveelutions she’s taking care of who insist on assisting her, even learning how to help with her experiments, becoming exceptionally helpful once she gets someone to craft a few Pokemon-friendly versions of her microscope, centrifuge, and a couple other things. Her pair of Ryujeon especially love to bring abandoned or injured Pokemon and children to her.

Ok, let’s see here, how am I going to do this…oh, I got it!

Hey everyone, my name is Tánxiāng Rambelgard! My mom is half Liyuese and half Inazuman, and my dad is half Mondstater and half Snezhnayan! We live in a village in a sort of weird neutral zone between a few regions, partly because dad’s alcohol business may not have been the most, um, legal? Anyway, we’re nearer to Sumeru and I got to study at the Akademiya!

I study Pokemonology, similar to one of the other me’s in the rotomblr multiverse, so I am somewhat like what you guys would call a Professor. I still don’t really know what they are, but I just know they’re called Pokemon

Pokemon kinda just showed up out of nowhere and I figured that, if I could study them, I would either make a name for my family or create a new field of study, like how architecture and biology are fields of work and study. I managed to get it to be considered a crossway between about half of the six Darshans, but the way these creatures are basically caused a BIG fight between, um, almost all the sages. Biology/Amurta, Spantamad/Alchemy and Ley Lines, and Aetiology/Vahumana kinda didn’t know what to make of this new, well, thing. None of the sages did. Since I was “new blood”, passed an entry exam, and was just lucky enough to have kinda befriended one, I think it’s a Sylvee? I don’t know, I’m just going by the sounds they make. But all that kinda made the sages put me in charge of this with help from one student from each school/Darshan until this fully settles into one or two categories instead of being in this weird ambiguous mess.

Definitely feel out of place being the daughter of what’s basically a liquor-runner and a former teahouse tea-farmer in a group of people who had parents with some expectations of them getting higher education outside of trade work. Yes, my mom was a tea-farmer for a teahouse.

Ok, so this is set right after the vison hunt decree was made, and therefore AlHaitham is not the Grand Sage and is still the Scribe, Zhongli is still Morax, Fontaine is still in danger, BUT the Stormterror threat is gone.

I am working with a canon without The Traveler purely because the timeline is not the most well defined and I am just not dealing with that.

No teams, but I will keep Sylph the sylveon, Kagehime the umbreon, and Joan the eevee as each consistent AU “team”. I used the Chinese word for Sandalwood because Sandalo is spanish for sandalwood and is part of the scientific name for the tree.

I will be referring to the different Pokemon by their cries in the anime because obviously people in Teyvat, just having the things show up, wouldn’t know what these are

Ok, so, interesting thing, one of these Pokemon things is a bipedal cat that seems able to produce Mora. I think a name referring back to Morax would make sense. Oh, and there’s a few that are extremely loyal but have no particular qualms about doing what is absolutely necessary to protect their person, fighting quite dirty. Fascinating!

Petey cat loafin’ near a box. Ignore the floors, please. Alhaitham loves this cat but the very VERY rare occasion he comes by, he just seems to quietly judge me. Then again, that might just be his resting face. Mine makes people think I’m mad, so idk. I say he loves Petey cat because he will just sit with him and pet him the entire time he works whenever we’re working in each other’s vicinity. Petey comes with me everywhere, so a lot of people get to meet him.

Local PSA: invisible disability does NOT mean you can live your life like a "normal person" invisible disability meant that if a stranger looks at you in public they wouldn't know what's going on.

Like if a wheelchair user were to decide to run into a corner store to grab a candy bar because they know that their legs can last that long without, the cashier wouldn't know.

Or someone with "mild" scoliosis walking upright through their shoulder leans slightly to the left. Maybe they just have bad posture. The lady in the next isle thinks to herself.

The person with EDS or POTS or whatever sort of condition wearing compression gloves out and about. Perhaps it's a fashion statement?

Or what about the people with intestinal issues? They can look like "normal people" too.

You never know what someone is going through.

You never know what they might need to survive or if they're on the edge of a flare up or even if they are currently going through one just by one look.

I think both disabled and non disabled need to realize this. You're not "no longer disabled" because you can "live without" disability aids. They're there to help you. To make your life easier. If living without a cane is going to make it more likely you'll fall over and hurt yourself, use the cane.

If you need to sit down to do dishes or cut vegetables because you need to save your legs for taking out the trash, sit down.

If you need a shower chair because you don't know if you'll pass out, use the shower chair.

People are going to judge you regardless for multiple reasons out of your control.

I'd rather they judge you while you're being safe.

You don't need to struggle to be "normal."

You can just be you.

However that looks for you.

Use your disability aids.

Various unnamed eevee, poochyena, dratini, and axew babies and unhatched dark and dragon type eggs: up for adoption, 1/4 are afflicted with “Shimmer” while another 1/3 has a likelihood of developing one of the unnamed chronic genetic conditions. 1/4 have the genetic markers for possibly developing an “unpredictable” “untrusting” or “obsessive” nature after level 5 or 3 years. 1/6 have been evaluated as having Poketism, so if adopted, be prepared to take extra precautions and care. do not adopt with expectations to “fix” them, I WILL know and WILL take them back and will blacklist you. Ableism towards Pokemon AND humans are NOT tolerated.

Hey, I was watching all the John Wick movies with my Pokemon and I just thought of something…if he was in our world, what would his partner Pokemon/pokemon team be? Sylph thinks his partner would probably be a sylveon, and I am inclined to agree. I think he would be a blended team of fairy and dragon, but what do you guys think?
