What bad habits do you think the the main four have?

Yusuke:

Dies all the goddamn time

Smokes

Never goes to school

Cuts class when he does go to school

Lives on instant ramen

Kuwabara:

Probably procrastinates a lot

Also skips school sometimes

Picks fights he knows he can’t win (with Yusuke)

Bites his nails

Drinks a lot of soda

Kurama:

Watches reality television at 3am

Drinks more coffee than is probably healthy (bc of the reality tv)

Occasionally procrastinates

Various crimes

Doesn’t even try to be civil with people

Hiei:

It was after midnight.

Hiei had been out with the guys and was only just getting home, via the window of course, since he never adapted to using the door like a normal person.

He’d come in the bedroom window, wondering why you weren’t already in bed.

You normally went to bed around ten or eleven o’clock, so it was odd to not see you there.

He found you in the living room, having fallen asleep in a sitting position on the couch.

When he saw you sleeping on the couch, he grinned.

But why were you on the couch…? Were you waiting on him?

He’d have to work late more often

Kurama was hanging out with the guys and had gotten home a lot later than he’d wanted to

Yusuke had been shitfaced drunk and needed someone to drive him home

He hung up his coat and removed his shoes at the door, half-expecting you to have gone to bed already

But as he walked through the living room, he saw you laying on the couch a few feet away

He smiled at you; you must have been waiting up for him. He thought it was sweet of you

Scooping you up, he kissed your forehead softly and carried you to bed

He tucked you into bed next to him and just watched you sleep for a while

You were surprised to find yourself in bed the next morning, but it was worth it to see Kurama sleeping soundly next to you

Can I get some headcanons on Hiei’s girlfriend of 2 months finally working the nerve to hold hands with him and at another time, kiss him? I imagine Hiei wouldn’t want to show much affection or would be comfortable kissing, even his girlfriend, in the beginning, but also not really knowing how to initiate it when he is comfortable doing so.

You and Hiei had been official for two months, and everything seemed to be going well

It was a slow paced relationship, which suited both of you, since neither of you were comfortable with being affectionate at the start

But you were two months in, and you were both acclimating to the idea of being together

You started to want something more… physical in your arrangement

The first time he tried that, everything was going well

Until he turned his head to say something to you and you turned your head to look at him

Main Four: How They Drive

But he’s Yusuke’s go-to when he’s wasted and can’t drive himself home

Can I get a headcanon of the main four sleeping habits?

Yusuke:

Sleeps like the damn dead

Had to be a heavy sleeper to not be woken up by his mom coming in drunk at odd hours of the night

Moves around in his sleep

Not just some subtle shifting around, this guy flops around and rolls over and has probably punched/kicked some holes in the wall before

I sincerely apologize to anyone who has to sleep within combat distance of him

Blanket stealing? You bet your ass

Snores at two distinct levels. Light snoring or freight train, no in-between

Kuwabara:

Surprisingly a lighter sleeper than Yusuke

Usually will wake up if Eikichi jumps up onto him while he’s asleep

The only time he sleeps heavily is when Shizuru is yelling at him to wake up for school

Tosses and turns but won’t have a cage match with anyone in his sleep

Occasionally snores, doesn’t always though

Will steal blankets but will give them back if he’s woken up by something

Also drools

His pillowcase is usually damp when he wakes up because of it

Kurama:

Light sleeper

Literally almost anything will wake him up

Floor creaking in another room? He’s awake

Still manages to sleep soundly despite that

Doesn’t move much, bar the occasional toss or turn

Probably the best to share a bed with; he won’t kick or steal blankets

Also probably a sleep cuddler; he likes warmth when he’s sleeping and people are warm

Doesn’t snore, but he talks in his sleep sometimes. His mom has a recording of it

Hiei:

Incredibly light sleeper

Ends up waking up frequently during the night to make sure he’s not being attacked

Literally sleeps in trees so he doesn’t move around much

He’d fall if he did, and he’s fallen before and doesn’t appreciate the rude awakening

Usually sleeps in a semi-upright position so his back sometimes hurts when he wakes up

If he were to share a bed with someone, he wouldn’t steal blankets

He’d probably kick them off of him

Sometimes will snore very faintly

Could I get a HC for Kurama, Hiei, and Jin whose gf acts like she's fine even when she's not in front of others? Like how quickly they notice and what they do about it.

Kurama:

Fox boy knows. He just knows. He’s good at reading people - scary good - and if you’re not feeling okay, he notices almost immediately. He tries to ascertain if something about the situation is making you uncomfortable or upset, and if he believes he’s found the cause, he tries to get you away from it. Otherwise, he just tries to be there for you.

He’ll stand a little closer to you, hold your hand if he can. He’d hug you but he’s not the most fond of overly-expressive PDA. He is, however, a firm believer that actions speak louder than words, so in whatever subtle way he can, he’ll try to show you that he knows something’s wrong and that he’s there for you.

As soon as he can, he’ll pull you aside to ask you directly what’s wrong if he hasn’t already figured it out. He’ll ask if you need some air, some time away from the crowd, or if you just want to leave. He’ll make up a plausible excuse to leave; he just wants you to be okay.

Hiei:

He doesn’t figure it out immediately, but he does after watching you for a while and realizing that you’re acting different, no matter how subtle the change. His first instinct is to survey the area around you to try to find what’s upset you. If he doesn’t notice anything off, he’s at a bit of a loss for what to do.

He trusts you to let him know if you want him to do something, but if you’re not giving him any clues he’s not going to just let it lie. He’ll stand closer to you, give you a glance to tell you that he knows you’re not okay. Not a fan of PDA, but if you grab his hand he won’t pull away.

He still won’t take any action unless you let him know that you want him to. Tug his hand and look towards the nearest exit; he’ll understand that you want to leave. Step a bit away from the crowd and he’ll follow. He wants to help, he just doesn’t know exactly what to do without being prompted.

Jin:

He’s a little less perceptive than Kurama and Hiei, but if you’re upset he’s still going to notice. It just might take a few minutes longer. He doesn’t wait to try to find the cause or to figure out if you want him to do anything, he just jumps into action. Boyfriend to the rescue!

He’s super into PDA, so it doesn’t seem out of the ordinary for him to wrap an arm around your shoulders. And that’s exactly what he does, keeping you close to him for a moment before asking if you’re okay, whispering in your ear so the people around you are none the wiser.

So... Since 2019 is still new (sort of, not really, it’s already March...), why don’t we start things fresh here at YYH Writing Requests?

Writing has been insanely difficult for me as of late, but I still want to try to revive this blog and give you all the content you’re looking for.

To start fresh, I’ve cleared out the ask box. As in, well, deleting everything. I’ve tried my best not to do something so drastic, but I feel I need a fresh start to get back into the swing of writing.

So, asks are gonna be open again! But for right now, I’m only going to accept more headcanon-type things, not full-fledged 1k+ written works. I’m gonna start out small to come back big.

So... Feel free to request some HC stuff, if you’d like! It’d mean a lot. I hope I can get this blog back in shape and pushing out some semi-regular content (anyone who knows how this hellsite’s queue works please hmu).

Mobcast Group Announces Yu Yu Hakusho Genkai Battle Spirits

On August 9th, Mobcast Group unveiled new key information about its mobile game they’re developing with Eitarosoft. What was originally called Project U has been officially titled as “Yu Yu Hakusho Genkai Battle Spirits”.

The game is slated to be a character breeding action RPG, set in the Yu Yu Hakusho universe, where players can collect and fight characters for matches. This game will also have multiplayer capabilities as well.

Mobcast Games has a tentative release date for the game set for the first quarter of 2019.
