Read 5-12 to get the drift…
Matthew 16:6,12 NKJV
[6] Then Jesus said to them, "Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees." [12] Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
TLB says:
Matthew 16:6,12 TLB
[6] "Watch out!" Jesus warned them. "Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees." [12] Then at last they understood that by yeast he meant the wrong teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
There are some wrong teachings!
For repetition sake… THERE ARE SOME WRONG TEACHINGS. So, probe what’s ‘obscure’ by asking the Holy Spirit to help.

One moment of fame… and then the fall
“Then Judas, having received a detachment of troops, and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.” ~ John‬ ‭18‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Take pleasure in knowing that…
When the wicked are riding high on a wave, it won’t last. All waves crash back down.
When Judas was about to betray Jesus, the might of troops and officers given to him must have made him feel important. At the time he enjoyed that one moment of fame. Such is the trajectory of the wicked - the high-very high-the very, very low- the lowest of the low!

Distribution Cycles
“And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.””
‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
3 Lessons right here!
With what you have, give thanks
After giving thanks, give out (I’ll ‘splain in a bit)
Whatever you do, don’t waste (from what you have or gave out)
So…
if you are blessed to have something that can work for you (talent - great speaking voice, athletic skill, great writing ability, patience etc.; product - something you can create; …), thank God for blessing you with it.
Then, give it out - put it to use.
Then, when it brings a harvest, gather in whatever the ‘fallout’ brings and start the cycle again.
The cycle explained
You got this or that, thank God for it, put it to use, take in a harvest, gather its rewards, repeat 🔁
Imagine doing this as a habit.

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” And He permitted no one to follow Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭5‬:‭36‬-‭37‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ (emphasis mine)
I know that you know…
that the wrong folk can shake your faith. So, what can you do?
Do like Jesus did. Only believe, and keep the believing folk with you!!

“And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.” ’ But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22‬:‭1‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

know the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees?
The Bible tells us that the leaven Jesus speaks of is “…the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
⚫️ now you know…
Only if you also know who the Pharisees and Sadducees are.

““You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Sooooo… true life capsule
Growing up I was a star like most other kids. In sport, I won. I sang, and danced, and was every parent’s dream child.
Then one day in early adulthood, something happened to make me become a bit of a loner. I was no longer as friendly as I used to be. And, I trusted people less.
I got married e-e-e-ventually, and lived just a tad shy of the recluse I’d been before marriage.
Then one day, my husband, my best friend died. I became even more quiet. But controversy trailed his departure and I was thrust into the spotlight. I dodged the light until I couldn’t anymore.
If anyone can stay hidden without being noticed, I think they’re probably of the spawn of someone who’s not God. He’s not, and cannot be hidden - I mean, look all around. His impact, His creativity is in colors, the sky, trees, clouds… you and I. That thought struck truly deep in me.
I’m no longer a loner.
I make Christ in me shine through the things I can influence for good.

3 WISE MEN may not have been so wise 😉
Why? Read on.
“Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
https://bible.com/bible/114/mat.2.1-2.NKJV
The wise men asked the king to reveal who was bigger than him and worthy of their worship.
🙄
Moral of the story
Don’t trigger what you don’t know that could exist. You never know a person’s inner thoughts so say as little as possible.

1️⃣ reason to be baptized…
The second death has no power over who’s a part of the first resurrection.
Partaking in water baptism with the understanding of this scripture is important!

#ask from whom you will receive, not from who will deceive The #question that usually follows is, “how can I tell who will not deceive?” Gosh! The answer’s on that thin line between truth and discomfort. If you’re steeped in the teachings of #theBible you’ll know the truth and it will set you free. The truth is ANYTHING that does not harm your neighbor! If you get counsel that puts someone at risk (even if it’s you) 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃 If you’re told to abandon your parents, 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ If you’re told to stab another in the back for a promotion, for money… 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃 You get the drift, don’t you? https://www.instagram.com/p/CpydQsWobc4/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

#howto be #great at anything you want to do? 𝘈𝘴𝘬 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘮 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦, not from who will deceive. #ask the right person or people. I can’t say this enough. The right person or people matter when you’re taking decisions. If you ask a fool for directions, he’ll give you a fool’s perspective on how to arrive nowhere. If you read a book riddled with half-baked research hoping to learn from it, … (fill in the blanks! So, so simple. Just #agree The disciples agreed to follow Jesus. Jesus agreed (with God) to take on an onerous journey to be sacrificed for us. Couples must agree to build families of worth. Teachers and students should agree to work together for great grades. Governments and citizens should agree to make their nations great. What a perfect world@it would be. But #alas what it is, is that many agreements (if any), are bereft of enough substance to do good. #TheBible has the #answer to how we should relate, agree, and live. #justread #read the #bible https://www.instagram.com/p/CpyZVNcr3Yz/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

3️⃣ ways to be a #better person If what you 🤔 or 🗣️ won’t help the other person, swallow it and move on. 🛑 killing another’s vibe 🛑 telling widows/widowers what to feel when you aren’t one 🛑 giving friends bad advice especially if you’re not wearing their shoes 🛑 telling your children they’re useless 🛑 assuming people should act like you in any situation at all #theBible says woe unto those who make others sin. ⭐️For example, if you make someone 😡 you are making them sin. Luke 17:1 NKJV Then He said to the disciples, "It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! #Biblicaladvice #Biblewisdom #scripture #itiswritten https://www.instagram.com/p/CpyWTiDrCDl/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
