Today is just one of many examples of how these potent and pure plant allies empower me to be a healer in my own home. How did I ever survive without them? 💧 This morning I woke up to a terrifying shriek coming from my son’s room. Immediately I dropped my morning meditation session to run to his room. He was curled up in pain, in his bed, screaming at me that he is going to throw up. Welcome to MOTHERHOOD. I felt his forehead. It was hot and clammy. I ran as fast as I could to my kitchen to grab a couple of stainless steel bowls for him to hurl into. 2 bowls to switch it up while I run back and forth to wash them out after each vomit. Ok my kid is retching, in pain and gasping for air - - - OK no problem, I have an oil for that. I ran to grab all the plant medicines in this photo. Here is what’s been working for Lil’ J 1. 3 drops of DigestZen applied to his entire abdomen area (and his spine) with fractionated coconut oil (I feel like a dope because I didn’t actually have a DigestZen rollerball ready to roll, made up) 2. Peppermint rolled over his occipital bone for brain support + cooling + nausea 3. A drop of digestzen on his finger and straight into his mouth. (He didn’t like it very much, but it helped incredibly because soon after, round 2 - AKA #diarrhea ensued, and it came through quickly. 4. 3 drops of Frankincense straight onto his scalp, at the crown of his head and massaged in for overall cellular support and emotional calming. 5. I took one On Guard softgel, cut it in half and applied the oils inside to his foot (he only let me do one foot) 6. Homeopathy support (I have a homeopathy reference book at home, and researched the correct remedy based on his symptoms) 7. DigestZen, On Guard + Peppermint in his bedside diffuser. Cold air irritates my bronchial airways, so after doing a sweat sesh this morning in my freezing garage, I felt a soreness and pain when I swallowed coming on shortly after. I made a cup of hot tea infused with cinnamon, (did you know that having cinnamon essential oil every day in your hot drink is amazing for stimulating your immune system and healthy metabolism?), then I grabbed my beloved Mānuka oil from New Zealand (not available in USA), and one On Guard protective throat drop. Then I started my diffuser obviously. I quickly popped the drop into my mouth, swiped a double “W” over my neck and throat area, sipped on my sweet tea (sweetened with birch xylitol), and went on my merry way. This is our morning scene. Husband isn’t quite yet on board the celery juice train (yet), but that’s OK because my kids are! Round 2 people! I impressed myself this morning because both my kiddos drank a little bit of celery juice each. I had about 5 Oz. Because we got to rush out the door to an early school start time, but nevertheless I must confess .... I did not know I has this in me!! When your kids listen to you, it actually makes you feel better, period. Now I’ve been fasting, all morning, and this is my second juice press of my day. Yummy 20 Oz and as I sip on, while writing this, the bubbles pop and melt into my mouth like sweet cotton candy, and the yummy green goodness cascades down my throat so easily. It is pure joy. I leave the leaves out and it’s super sweet, not bitter at all. Am I addicted to celery juice ya’ll? My juicer heats it up a little. Who has tried this? Yarrow/Pom finally became available yesterday in the 30mL size. A dropper lid is included! I am so stoked about this!! I just used my Yarrow/Pom from my convention kit and I still have about half left!’I am trying to ration it - because it is so good. YUM CELERY JUICE - OK so when I began drinking this stuff you guys, it tasted bitter, in fact I stopped getting organic celery from Trader Joe’s because I felt it was more bitter than the organic celery at Whole Foods and Good Eggs. But alas, it may have been my taste buds instead. Ok so here’s the thing, I’ve been drinking it on and off, mostly ON several months. Bed Hair. ..... Don’t Care. First thing I do when I wake up these days is RUN TO MY JUICER!! Why don’t they teach this in medical school? I’ll tell you why. Because modern medicine cannot patent nature. Like other things in nature, celery juice has been an intense + effective healing tool for me, on my lifelong health journey. It’s helped me to get healthier than I was drinking veggie juice combos. It’s been amazing for my Gut health and I even lost 5 pounds recently without trying to!! Not sure if it’s the celery juice or another form of plant healing I use daily, and I’m glad I have more that one healing tool in my every battle with our conventional toxic world.
