Adam x Reader - Love at first Sight HCs

⋆ Adam isn’t really the type to fall in love at first sight; sure, he flirts with a large amount of people on a daily basis if he’s single at the moment, but it’s rare that someone catches his eye so much that he considers it love.

⋆ He’s tried to flirt with someone multiple times when he was interested in a one night stand with them, but never went past that after the loss of Eve and Lilith, even though it’s been a long time since then. He simply believes at the end of the day they would meet Lucifer sooner or later and fall for his charm as well, so he doesn’t bother looking for a serious relationship.

⋆ When he sees you for the first time though, he’s completely stunned. He confides to Lute that he needs to get you to like him back, even though you’ve barely talked to each other. Your beauty and charm are unprecedented, and for the first time in eons he worries about leaving a good first impression too.

And so it begins, the process called flirting;

⋆ Luckily for him, one of his band members actually knows you by name, and is aware of the places that you usually frequent in your free time. How they do, he doesn’t even bother to ask; he’s immediately off to coming up with ways to ‘accidentally’ end up in the same place at the same time and flirt with you.

⋆ Adam can be obnoxious; he’ll definitely try flirting by talking about himself and bragging at first, all whilst invading your personal space, because why not, am I right? Usually this works with other people, as most of them are charmed by the fact that they’re talking to the first man alone, but this doesn’t seem to be the right tactic when it comes to you.

⋆ Next comes the ‘asking for help to Lute’, except she’s not a romantic person herself, so even this plan doesn’t end well. She suggests pick up lines because that’s how other people used to and still flirt with her, he’s not entirely convinced but he gives them a try. “Did it hurt? When you fell from- wait, fuck, that’s not... ah, whatever!”

⋆ And finally, his buddies advise him to just be himself, which doesn’t only mean boasting and making distasteful jokes around you. He personally invites you to one of his gigs, and his band members agree to leave the two of you alone afterwards, reminding him to try and not mess up by calling you a ‘bitch’ or something akin to that on your first actual date.

⋆ He resorts to pet names instead, and taking into consideration the advice that his friends gave him prior to the date he even lets you order first if you go out to eat, and asks you where you want to go afterwards – wow! Usually he’d take you to some cheap stand where they make smoothies and such, but you decide on a more secluded place, where you tell him that you’ve been noticing the fact that he’s been trying to flirt with you a lot lately.

⋆ It’s hard for him to fully open up emotionally, especially with someone he barely knows, so all he does is tell you that yeah, you look very attractive and he’d like to go out with you more frequently, seeing as you don’t seem to be as vain and boring as the other people he’s flirted with in the past.

I'm not gonna be on hiatus, but I'm gonna take it slower with fics and hcs.

I've been posting pretty much every day for some weeks now but I realized I just don't have the energy to sit down and write that much now, especially with the fixation dying down a little.

I'm still very invested in the story and characters of Hazbin, don't worry, but now I'm doing other things other than writing all day too ahah!! I also started watching Helluva Boss so I might add some characters to my writing list :)

N icknames - What do they call their s/o?

While he does call you stuff like Toots, Babe etc. sometimes, I feel like he also uses those for his friends, so they're a little less intimate nicknames if I dare say.

For you and you alone, he'd definitely use Darling, Honey and Handsome when he's a little bit more flirty...but if you've got some preferences regarding nicknames, he'll gladly call you those instead, he's not picky and doesn't find any of them embarassing.

D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

He pictures a very soft kind of lifestyle with you; he doesn't just want a partner in his s/o, he's also looking for a best friend in them.

He wants someone to cry over sappy movies with, laugh until his stomach hurts with...that kind of thing.

He's been through so much, both in life and in death, so now he just wants a lover and best friend who loves him for who he is, and also doesn't judge him. He also still wants to do what he does now of course, but he hopes that his job won't make it any different for you and that when he comes home you'll still be willing to live that soothing and healing lifestyle in his company.

C omfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

Pent definitely goes for cuddles when you're feeling down, and after you've calmed down from a panic attack. He really wants you to know that he's there for you physically.

He knows that these things can take a slight toll on your health, especially frequent panic attacks or being down for a prolonged time, so he also offers you to bring a glass of water, some food, or to give you a massage too perhaps.

He also gets his egg boiz to cheer you up a little and talk about something goofy that makes you laugh c:

W ild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.

Sir Pentious is really into long love letters; he really takes a long time writing them for you and choosing the right words that will go into them.

He always writes you one whenever he gives you a present, whether it's for your birthday, for Christmas or for some other celebration. He also sends them to you when one of you is away!

It's a bit funny because they're filled with big words, and imagining Pent speak like that is endearing for you, even if he can be a bit over the top in real life as well!

Hi again, saw your requests are open again, so can I request Vox x female reader? As for the plot: The Reader and Vox got together during the 7 years that Alastor was absent, so reader never encountered the more manic and obsessed side of her boyfriend when it comes to his enemy. And so, now that Alastor is back Vox started acting a bit differently and reader is worried about him and his mental health. So she confronts him about it. (Just to clarify, I want this to be fluff or sort of hurt-comfort and you can either do one-shots or ficlet, I'm up for whatever) ~Ghost/👻 (you're never getting rid of me now >:3)

Warning for : mentions of stalking

The digital clock indicated that it was already late at night, three in the morning precisely.

You hadn’t been awakened by something, no, in fact you had never fallen asleep in the first place. Troubled by thoughts of your own boyfriend, you laid in the king size bed of your shared bedroom, anxiously scrolling on your phone in desperate search of yet another distraction from the fact that this had been yet another day consisting of getting ignored by him.

And yet there you were, waiting for him to join you in bed, worried because he had always been a near perfect example of a partner, at least in your viewpoint, but now all he was able to concentrate on was that... Alastor, the Radio Demon.

Just thinking about that name brought back anxiety into your chest.

Knowing very well that the feeling of tightness and shortness of breath wouldn’t have subsided anytime soon if you decided to stay in bed for who knows how many more hours, you stood up, the sudden change in temperature making you wrap your arms around your own figure.

The red moon shone a path to the elevator with its light, almost as if it was telling you to go for it and confront him.

And so you did; taking the elevator to the room you had guessed he was in, you impatiently waited for the doors to open in front of you.

When they did, you were almost blinded by the light emitting from the disproportionate number of screens present in Vox’s office.

He was sitting there, mumbling to himself, checking cameras placed on the various streets leading to the Hazbin Hotel. You shuddered; he was most likely too caught up in what could’ve been considered the stalking of his enemy that he didn’t hear you enter the room.

“Vox...”

You called his name, but he didn’t respond.

“Vox.”

You tried again, this time more resolute, and he turned around, startled; all the screens turned off in unison except for the one that served as his head, which became the only source of light in the entire office.

Vox hadn’t even bothered to change into his nightwear, you noticed; he was still wearing his suit, he had just removed the blazer and placed it on the backrest of his office chair.

“Ah, darling. Whatever are you doing up this late...?” he asked, recomposing himself.

You simply stared at him with concern written all over your face, an expression of pure worry. Careful not to trip on anything, you slowly made your way towards him, your arms still crossed as if to comfort yourself.

“I should be the one asking that question, it’s three and you’re still here checking for traces of Alastor on every camera of the city. Come to bed.” You ranted quietly, seeing what time it was, even though you were almost sure the other Vee’s couldn’t here you from where you were.

Vox sighed, placing a hand on his forehead. Being reminded of the time and of what he was doing most likely made him realize how exhausted he was.

“Yes, yes...I’ll come to bed, just...” he trailed off, not sure what to say himself.

You caught the opportunity to continue your rant, but not before grabbing his blazer and carefully folding it to then place it on his desk. His eyes followed your figure the entire time.

“I’m worried about you, you do nothing but obsess over him these days, and you end up not taking care of yourself and others around you enough, you know?” you said, obviously referring to yourself in your last statement.

You hadn’t gone on a date with Vox in a while, hadn’t taken the time to relish in each other’s presence in what felt like months – and it had probably been that long.

“If only you could understand.” he whispered, visibly irritated by your words, which was something you had barely witnessed during these years of relationship.

“I’ll let you explain, so I’ll be able to. Just, for now, let’s go to bed? I’m worried about your health.”

Another sigh from Vox; you extended your hand, which he grabbed. The closer he got to you the brighter his screen seemed; you couldn’t wait for it to be turned off, you could feel a headache coming on.

The only thing you knew about Vox and Alastor’s history was that they never agreed on matters concerning technology, and that Alastor had disappeared for seven years. This didn’t really explain why your boyfriend was so obsessed with the Radio Demon though, it made no sense to you; there had to be another reason why he was so consumed by their rivalry.

A reason he clearly wasn’t going to share in that moment, as once you arrived in your bedroom he practically threw himself on the bed. You followed suit, covering both your figures with the blanket you had discarded previously.

“Promise you’ll explain soon.” You said, staring up at him.

Vox didn’t want to lose you at all, he realized when he looked into your eyes right then and there. You were putting up with the ugliest side of his personality, for which he had to feel honoured. He cupped your cheek and you leaned into his touch.

“I’ll do my best. For you.”

His hand moved from your cheek to your waist, pulling you closer. This was more like the Vox that you knew. With a promise that you’d get an explanation the following day, you finally let yourself fall asleep against his chest.

Your high heels made a clacking sound as you walked across the street; your flowy dress made many heads turn, just for Angels to be stunned by your beauty once they saw you.

Saying you weren’t used to this would be a lie, as every day many individuals would comment on your beauty and grace; you were quite modest about it though, always thanking them but never bragging about all the attention that you received.

This wasn’t what your day was going to be about though; in fact, Adam was.

You were going on a date with your boyfriend, and you were thrilled about it; you two hadn’t been able to go out for a while, since he was quite busy with shows and whatnot during that time of the year.

You always tried to be there for his gigs, but usually he was busy with band outings afterwards or he was too beat – and quite sweaty, too – to go out for a romantic date with you.

And when he wasn’t busy with gigs, he was too caught up in more confidential matters with Sera. Things regarding Hell, you guessed.  So naturally you allowed him to have some chiller dates with you in the weekend, prioritizing his desires a bit.

But this time you two had planned a whole day out together, with the first stop being a restaurant to eat some lunch.

Finally reaching your destination, you stopped in your tracks and fixed your hair to look as pretty as you could for your boyfriend. Not that he would notice if you had a hair out of place, he always called you stunning even when you were in your nightwear and you had just woken up, but you still wanted to look your best for your special day.

You checked your phone, and saw a message from him that said he was going to fly there to get there faster. You were about to reply when you heard a strong flap of wings from above you.

“Hey babe!” he descended from the sky, snaking an arm around your figure and kissing the top of your head. He was wearing his mask, as always when he was in public, but you really didn’t mind.

“Hey Adam! We arrived at the same time,” you pointed out as he tucked his wings under his arms. You noticed he was wearing his usual robe, but as the wind blew it around a little you could see his spiked combat boots underneath.

“We did, wanna go in?”

“Sure!”

You chatted about this and that as you entered the fancy restaurant, the carefully designed decor catching your eye immediately. He even had to ask you if you were listening as you got caught up staring at the luxurious furnishings.

A waiter welcomed you and lead you to your booked table near a window overlooking a beautiful garden, you could touch the bush of white roses outside if you leaned out a little, if you wanted.

You didn’t need much time to choose your orders; both of you decided to go with your favorite food as a treat, Adam’s being ribs, and as soon as the dishes arrived you dug in. You made a mental note to leave a positive review to the restaurant as even the food tasted heavenly.

“Holy shit, these ribs go hard as fuck! Want one?” Adam asked between bites, picking one up with his free hand and handing it to you. You grabbed it helping yourself with your cutlery, and chuckled at your boyfriend’s behaviour.

You were just about to take a bite out of the rib when you heard something that you probably shouldn’t have;

“...I wonder what she sees in him?”

You turned around swiftly and caught the two Angels commenting on your relationship red handed; one of them had the appearance of a sheep, fur pristine and styled into ringlets, the other resembled a cat.

They immediately averted their gaze when yours fell on them, but you still shifted so you could face them better.

“Well, he makes me happy and makes me laugh. Isn’t that enough?” you stated with a kind smile, no malice in your words, and pointed at Adam with your fork. The two girls grimaced as they looked at your boyfriend, hands dirty and mouth stuffed with ribs; he was enjoying his lunch so much that he hadn’t even noticed the food had left a stain on the sleeve of his robe.

“Suit yourself...” the sheep Angel commented once again, and it was Adam’s turn to reply.

“You’re damn lucky I’m busy eating ribs and being on a date with my girlfriend. Do you even know who the fuck you’re talking to?”

“The first man, Adam.” You finished his sentence fondly.

The Angels shivered; you’d dare say you never witnessed anyone leave a place faster than they did that restaurant.

L ove Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

It would be a soft, doubtful confession - are you going to reject him because of what he does or because of his difficult situation with Valentino? His mind would be full of doubts that you'd have to wipe out with a gentle kiss. It would be more of a question than a confession; are you going to accept every part of him? He doesn't consider himself easy to like.

Sure, he's had the courage to confess that he'd like for you to be more than a friend to him, but he did it mainly because he couldn't keep it to himself anymore - now, what are you going to think?

I also am not sure how this would play out since Val is still out there and (unfortunately) thriving...maybe you'd have to keep your relationship a secret, to avoid Val finding out and becoming a target, or just for the simple fact that if he did find out Angel is dating someone else he'd be furious at him.

U nderstanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?

Angel absolutely knows everything about you, and he's super empathetic!

He knows what makes you sad, happy, angry, what you like and dislike...he's a very attentive partner and he's going to demonstrate it often.

Especially if you're feeling sad, he's going to try his best to understand where you're coming from and try to cheer you up with your favorite things, which he knows by heart.

I feel like he's the type to have a diary or just write down things often...he would definitely make notes on what you like and dislike to keep everything in mind, just in case.

hihihihi, I’m Gray, yes like the color/colour. I’m Agender(afab) and use any pronouns, I’m ace and on the arospec (I think I’m lithioromantic?) Ive had 3 crushes, 1 fem, 1 nb, 1 male. If you’re doing romantic, I do tend to have a preference towards masc people.

I’m honestly pretty average, I’m very middle energy between chill and energetic, it fluctuates depending on who I’m with. I’m an ISFJ 9w1 if that helps. If you’re doing romantic, please don’t ship me with Angel Dust, I see him in a very brotherly sense. Similarly with husk.

Father Figure! Husk x Reader - Platonic

♠ Husk never really thought of being a father, much less in literal Hell. During his life on earth he has always been a bit of a free-spirited individual, travelling from left to right, spending his days in bars and his youth performing magic for others. In Hell, his ‘life’ became a bit more stable, spent inside the Hazbin Hotel serving the residents at the bar, but he still didn’t consider himself a good example or somebody in the condition to care for another soul. So, when you came along and decided to see him out of all demons as a father figure, he was pretty surprised.

♠ Especially considering how different your two personalities are, with him being a grumpy and lazy old man and you being a pretty young and clingy individual, he thought that you two would never get along.

♠ On your first day at the Hotel though, you felt pretty out of place, and the moment he saw you struggling he felt pretty bad for you, so he decided to give you some advice to get along with the others out of the goodness of his heart.

♠ From that moment on, you two became inseparable. ♠ He also got pretty used to your turbulent personality; if someone questions your behaviour, he'll reply with something along the lines of; "Heh, no need to worry. They're just being themselves."

♠ If you accidentally call him ‘dad’ in front of the others, they will poke fun at you a bit but ultimately think it would be adorable if he was actually your father. Meanwhile he’ll be too stunned to speak; he’ll probably give you a pat on the back and send you on your way, trying not to seem too happy about it, but he’ll be thinking about it all day.

♠ When he went after Angel Dust and came back at the Hotel all beat up, you were very worried for him, and refused to leave his side until all his wounds were completely healed; fortunately the healing process only took a couple hours as they weren’t serious wounds, but you still made him promise to take care of himself and to get into as little fights as possible. He begrudgingly did, giving you a pat on the head.

♠ You also looked out for each other a lot during the Extermination, with him trying to shield you from attacks with his wings and you watching his back while he was occupied fighting against a group of Angels.

♠ He really made sure to let you know how much he appreciates you before the fight, even though he’s not really the type to talk about his feelings. The affection you feel towards him moved him though, so he decided to let his pride aside for once.

Can I ask E and R for Angel Dust? Is alphabet actual, of course.

Yes!! Angel is kind of underrated btw? I don't see his stuff getting a lot of likes unless it's huskerdust (which I love dont get me wrong, favorite ship and all but!)

E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

He's a mix between the two! I feel like a relationship with Angel would turn out to be very healthy, and for it to be this way both partners must compromise instead of having a very dominant/passive role.

I also don't see him being fully dominant by taking all decisions and stuff, nor fully passive by leaving everything to the other person. Maybe his insecurities could get in the way and make him think his opinions don't really matter, but I feel like there would be deeper problems in that case which would need to be solved. (aka he's probably in a bad spot so please care for him)

R omance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

Oh, Angel is very romantic. Leaves around little notes for you where he reminds you how much he loves you, kind of romantic.

He also loves spending time with you, so if you want to spend some quality time together by starting to watch a series or get into a hobby, he's totally on board!

As for the little things he does to show you his love; little notes like I said, takes pictures of you constantly and keeps them all on his wall, he even offers to give you spa treatments himself! Don't refuse this, he's really good at it...he's also a fan of cute little trinkets so if he gets one for himself he'll very likely get a matching one for you too :3

Aah Vox; apparently the way I write him is okay but I still feel a little awkward when it comes to him cause idk, I don't have him pinned down yet :P Glad you guys are requesting him so I can practice!

I nspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

Vox is rather egotistical so I feel like it would be hard for him to accept that he needs to change on some aspects, if he did it would happen very slowly and without him really trying, let's just say you'd have to be a really good influence most of the time.

I always imagine him with a more modest, down to earth s/o who pulls him a bit out of that 'everything we do needs to cost a lot of money and we have to look good all the time' mentality he would have in a relationship.

X OXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?

For a rather short time, yes! If we're just talking about lying there with your arms wrapped around each other and stuff. He will get a bit bored unless he's really tired.

But this man melts when kisses and praise are involved, especially after a long day of boring work. Tell him he did good and then kiss him and he'll basically short-circuit...well, not literally, that would be dangerous I think!

His screen is...not really all that satisfying to kiss, truly, so he prefers to be kissed on his neck, hands, basically everywhere else.

He also never really initiates stuff unless it's been a long time since you two have cuddled, he doesn't really feel shy or awkward but he's rather proud so it's rare for him to come up to you and initiate a cuddle session. He doesn't mind at all when you do it though!

F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

I feel like fights aren't common with Pent, but when they do happen he's very easy to forgive his s/o, he actually asks for forgiveness first in most cases.

As for how he fights, he can be rather immature with it I believe, by bringing up petty things from the past at first but then getting defensive if you bring up more valid arguments. The positive thing is that if he's in the wrong it won't take him long to apologize.

Y earning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

Sir Pentious misses his partner very easily, especially if he's used to having the freedom of doing things such as cuddling them or being affectionate with them in general.

As for how he copes, he'll probably look for company from other people, but will end up annoying them by talking about you all the time!

It's actually rather sweet how much he misses you, but of course if there's something to do he'll do it. He'll just bring you up a lot as I said. Say this is set pre ep. 8, he'll be doing an exercise with Charlie and the others and you're not there;

"Alright, for this exercise you'll need to pick a partner!" says Charlie.

"Ah, if only they were here..." whines Sir Pentious, receiving a good amount of side eyes from the rest of the Sinners.
