im doing alright today.

My username inspo is kinda geeky if im going to be honest.

its the name of a video game character i like from the video game Danganrompa. as for the "via" part, i just needed something to make that name unique on my ao3 (since its the same there) and the username AlterEgo was taken. so "viaAlterEgo" it is!

music recs? i kinda listen to everything, but i do enjoy artists Lyn Lapid, Leanna Firestone, Good Kid, and khai dreams. so... a lot of indie pop lol. thanks to my parents, i do have a pretty solid knowledge of older songs, genres, and artists, like ABBA, and Fleetwood Mac, and TLC!

apples - blueberries! so small and sweet (sometimes)

Comfort - i have multiple but rn it's c!Tommy, Jim Lake from Trollhunters and GoodtimeswithScar! it fluctuates and changes depending on what in to atm

waittttt what did you do to get kicked off of ao3 if you dont mind me asking? I didnt even know thats possible

explaination time! okay.

so here's the disclaimer - I kinda deserved it. I broke AO3's TOS.

so lets start at the very beginning, i had an updates work on ao3 called "the meaningless words of an author". just adding random things and asking for suggestions on works/ideas. well in nov 2023, i received an email from ao3 stating that they received a complaint aginst my work, that the work is was aginst their guidelines, and i needed to take it down or face further consequences. i didn't care too much for the "work" so i deleted it and promptly forgot about its existence.

fast forward to Fri, i received an email from ao3 stating that three works were removed and that my account was suspended for a month. again, stating that they received a complaint that these works violated ao3's TOS. these three works were "how to introduce your friend to ao3... just add crack" and two works containing updates on the future of my fics, as many authors from my fandom were deleting/orphaning/discontinuing their works and leaving the fandom (for context, this took place one week after Shelby Shubble's announcement on Twitch, a day after Alice's testament and the fandom i am writing for is the SBI or the Sleepy Bois Inc. i wasn't doing to great emotionally and i know for a fact that a lot of other people weren't either) At the time, many other authors were adding/making update works to express their emotions on the event so after some observation, i made my thoughts and plans known as well, intending to delete the updates when the event had lost enough steam.

so in summary, i kinda deserved it. but i am taking a longer break than usual bc of my fish-like memory. also, please be aware of ao3 TOS. i don't want this to happen to anyone else bc... even though I am on a break rn, i still wanted to at least edit some things and now i cant until May.

i plan to update this when i can.
