What a strange man! -- An Odd Encounter

fyodor dostoevsky x fem!reader

i suggest you to read this before you move on.

sypnosis: You were at your workplace doing your thing when you felt an uneasy pair of eyes on you. You confront the situation. And oh, who is this? Seems like we have an unexpected guest. Who is this man? and why won't he leave your head!?

It was an exceptionally busy night tonight. You were on stage performing when you noticed an pair of eyes staring at you the entirety of the show. You realized that it was the same man who had been following you for the past few weeks.

He seemed to be in his mid-sixties. He was well-dressed and had quite an unpleasant aura to say the least. You could tell he was very wealthy. Perhaps even an important person in one way or the other.

After a few songs, you went to the changing room to relax a bit and change for your next display. However, you could feel an uneasy presence following you, waiting to get their grubby paws all over you, waiting outside the locked door of your dresser. You slightly open the door in hopes of startling your mysterious guest. When you saw who it was you opened the door and questioned him. It was the same man.

He simply replied with "well you see young lady. I came here once and I was captivated by your mesmerising beauty and elegance. I simply couldn't stop myself from coming back. Would you perhaps be willing to-"

He suddenly paused, startled, as you caressed his shoulder. Chuckling softly and giving him a playful smile, you said "I do prefer rich older men who would pamper me and I don't mind returning the favour~...how about we go somewhere a bit more private? The back of the club perhaps? hmm?" with lust filled in your voice.

Ofcourse the old hag couldn't deny such an offer! You lead him into the back alley and he followed you mindlessly just now realizing that he has been pinned onto a wall with the tip of a sharp knife pointed at his adams apple.

"You disgust me. But I'll be nice and let you have your final words." He didn't say anything. He just started as if his words wouldn't come out. "Alright, then I suppose this is it. Goodbye~. You won't be missed."

Now you weren't an idiot. You knew you were smarter than most and ofcourse you had to use it somehow? I mean how else did you get so rich?

Just as you were about end his life you hear a set of footsteps approaching. You quickly turn your head back only to see a pale man in a white outfit with tints of purple covering himself with a black cloak, wearing dark red-maroon boots and topping it off with a white fluffy hat.

"What? you a friend of his?" "Not exactly, but I would really appreciate it if you weren't to kill him just now." "Oh? why so?" "I believe the gentleman has something I value deeply." "In that case I suppose you need him alive?" "Yes." "...fine, just don't you dare spread the word and don't let him spread it either." You say as you let go and start walking past the two men, back into the club. "I'll keep that in mind. Before you leave, may I know your name?" "No you may not." "alright then." "...y/n. y/n l/n"

"What a strange man!" you murmur to yourself.

hello world. i'm gonna start writing a series on fyodor x fem!reader.

i won't make this a " ever since i layed my eyes on you, i knew you were the one" or "OMG READER! MY BADASS QUEEN MY EVERYTHING MY GODESS I'LL DO ANYTHING FOR U I'LL KILL MYSELF IF I HAVE TOO PLEASE JUST-" or the "i'm y/n, so ofc this dangerous terrorist criminal murderer russian automatically is head over heels for me! " bs, dw.

i'm trying to make this as on character as possible with a lot of delusion

here's the storyline:

you're a pole dancer and work at a local club. you notice an older man was eyeing you up. this went on for about a week and you finally confronted the situation. but then just in the nook of time comes another strange man whom you've never seen in the club or anywhere near it even.

you get to know him more and more as the days pass.

you were certain the man was not at all normal but neither were you...

he offers to have you work for him on days you're not working. you agreed as it ment more money for you.

yk what? i'm too lazy to word the rest of this out so...

you two feel a deeper connection yada yada he realises who you actually are and then start dating... but is that all? nope!

->"Fedyaaaaaaaaa when r u coming home???"

"I'm pretty sure I'll be back late tonight. Why? Is there something wrong? or something you need me to get?"

"no no, i don need anything rn" "i just got you a lil something"

"oh? And what might that be?"

"no spoilers!"

"alright alright. I'll try come home as soon as i can"

"okieeeee" "get me ice cream on the way!"

"[insert ur fav ice cream/s]?"

"yep!"

the following happens in real time

-> you're kneeling down on the floor to admire the lil dark-grey furry friend with a white cotton hat in front of you when you hear someone opening the front door downstairs [don't ask me how ur able to hear a door opening downstairs, u just can. ok?]. assuming it's fyodor, you rush down the staircase.

"why are you awake at this hour?" he says, closing the freezer door.

"i was simply waiting for you" "come! i wanna show you something"

"alright, lead the way."

*Insert Time Skip*

"..." "soooooo, what do ya think?"

"Love, why'd you bring a rat into the house?" "says you" *insert a v big side eye from you to him*

"what's that supposed to mean?" "ohh nothing!"

"well... is this your pet now?" "our pet* " "guess what i named it?"

"what?" " i named him... Phyodor. p-h-y-o-d-o-r"

"Dear, doesn't that name ring a bell?" "oh what ever do you mean?" you say, very dramatically.

-> just stares at you like 🤨😐😑

-> "And what if i don't want a pet?" "well, then I'll simply "donate" phyodor to a near by orphanage or something"

the both of you were on a stroll outside and decided to sit down on a bench in a near by park

-> "y/nnnnnnnnnnn watcha got there?"

"a dove" "it's so... pretty" you say. as you were feeding a flock of doves, one of them perched up on your lap.

"i wanna take it home"

"QUIZZZ TIMEEEE" he shrieks twirling around. "QUESTION 1: why do you, y/n l/n wanna take it home!?"

"because it's pretty and i wanna admire it every day? but... i can't take it home"

"interesting answer!" "QUESTION TWOOO: why can't you take it home? what is stopping you?"

"you." "HUHHHHH!?!?" "even if i want a pet bird, i know damn well that you will set it free and also i don't want to confine it between bars." you say with a perseptive look on your face. "besides i don't really need a pet"

"ohh? why so" "cuz i have you to take care of?" *dramatic gasp* *flabbergasted*

"I! am not a pet!" "but i still have to take care of you" "hmp!" he says as he puffs his cheeks, shuts his eyes and turns his head the other side. (ur looking north (at the birdies), he's facing east)

"why would i admire a mere bird when i could admire you instead" you murmured, a pleasant smile playing on your face.

"what was that?" "oh nothing"

-> the poor thing... :(((

-> whatever the animal is, it'd probably take care of him instead.

-> does he really need a pet? like cmon?

-> also if you're in a relationship with him, no matter how responsible or independent you are, he'd have to take care of you too.

-> goldfish. he'd have a goldfish

-> it's the most fitting tbh

-> it'd just be minding it's own business in its lil fish tank unlike a certain mackerel.

the pics at the start were only for aesthetic (which failed but oh well) and is not at all relevant to the post.
