Watched that Netflix movie "Damsel" last night.

I can say, it was pretty awesome. Like I loved how the movie didn't wait to show us the dragon until the last five minutes, we got to see how the dragon moved, spoke, flew, and got close up shots and all that. The dragon had character, emotions, motives.

As a othekin, I always keep some movies in my back pocket if I'm looking for some representation. This one is definitely getting added to the list.

It scratched a movie itch that I thought would never be soothed. Not only that, but the human characters were all really interesting too. It's a simple movie sure, but deeper themes are there.

Either way, loved it. Would recommend for a solid watch. Nothing groundbreaking but enjoyable.

Sitting on the bus and fighting the urge to tell the person next to me "sorry my wings are getting in your space" cuz I can feel them touching them, but clearly my wings are only in my imagination..... sad.

I have never really know how to express my "wolf-dragon ness"

Like it was so much easier when I was a teenager, but as an adult...and having to restrain myself for the sake of my job and everyone around me...I don't have any friends that would understand anymore.

Has anyone else forgotten what it was like to bask in moon and bay or growl and snap in a none aggressive way. To huff and sigh being demanded an reason why. Now it just feels like I'm an animal in a cage...a cage of my own design.

And I've lost the key.

I just love when spring starts to arrive. The sweetness in the air as it warms but it's not scorching yet. The cool rain falls, dandelion songs, and the earth sighing.

Just love it.

Don't get me wrong, I adore the briskness of winter and it's sheer frozen beauty. How the night sky looks, and the urge to snuggle up and sleep is pleasing.

But! I'm excited to awaken in the new spring!

The horde needs dusting. Wings and legs need stretching. Super gleeful!

As a Dragonkin, the inapplicable urge to hoard objects is constantly present.
