Shadow also known as Shadow Manano, The Baby, Lil, Tiny and the derpy princess herself, passed away just after 5pm today at the age of 16.

Not many words can describe the love and appreciation I have for her, but I'll have you know, she was spoiled rotten to the very end.

Rest in peace you fucking legend.

Gonna miss you the most of all.

Haven't been needing to vent or post lately because I've been doing allot better and not looping all the time anymore. But my cat might be entering hospice soon and if I don't put this feeling somewhere ima loose my mind.

Watching the thing that gave you purpose the last 16 years of your life abruptly slow down and finally show her age is an extremely frightening process.

Both not ready for her to go and not wanting her to be forced to continue past her time, or have invasive surgeries done to just extent her life a little further.

She is the runt and was expected to live 4-8 years, and she gave us double that time.

We took her to the vet today and were going to treat a bladder infection she's dealing with till we get the results back. But I know this cat better then anyone and my gut is screaming at me something is wrong.

And for the first time in a long time I'm terrified.
