Playing Portal 2 because I need to decompress between beta/edit work on mine and others' fics and. The idea Wheatley was added as an Intelligence Dampening Core. The idea Aperture had to come up with means of holding back GlaDOS, an AI in complete and murderous control of the facility. The idea she was too intelligent and beyond control they created Wheatley as a workaround to destroy the facility. Wheatley's her ADHD, right? Right?
"It clung to my brain like a tumor, generating an endless stream of terrible ideas... It was your voice. You're not just a regular moron, you were designed to be a moron."

If you’re still doing fallout portraits, I think a The Mariner one would be cool 🙌
Hi, sorry for being quite late on making this! I have.. feelings about The Mariner. I once faced a cancer diagnosis when high-grade cells were found during a routine checkup; they were removed during a surgery. I'm okay now, but I have to go in for scans/checkup once a year because I am in a high risk group.
One thing I love about The Mariner is her defiance. Facing the diagnosis (mostly) alone, she works as normal and refuses to let her community support her; fearing pity and people treating her differently. On one hand while you need to talk to people and lean on them, people can be overbearing especially when you hear the same well-wishes over and over; it can be hollow no matter how supportive they're trying to be. People don't understand the inherent body horror of knowing there's shit going on within you that you might not be able to control. It's complex.

can't wait for the greatest hits
"Why isn't anyone talking about how evil Joshua Graham is I don't see anyone bringing this up" annual meeting
Bethesda Doesn't Understand Fallout, penned by someone who played FNV but not F1/F2. Has never heard of Tim Cain
Account bio "I'm a Fallout scholar lore expert" with a degree from Trust Me Bro I Read The Wiki A Lot university. Assumes critique of their ideas or a dissenting opinion in their reblogs is a personal attack and will block you for it
"I can't believe Bethesda didn't let MacCready go back to be with Duncan"
Reminder that it's literally just a video game series. Make friends. Be nice. Have fun. Mostly don't pretend to be better than others, thinking you know more about the series or because you had a couple hot takes pop off on tumblr dot com! It's not cute!
Cant wait for a wealth of new fallout fans brought in by the show so we can witness wave after wave of the same braindead discourse we've been having for 15 years

Here are the best MacCready sketches I've seen today! Lovely, OP! He can be difficult to draw. I've seen many sketches where he looks too old - you really capture his youth here.
just gonna keep posting until something happens. here are the worst MacCready sketches ever.

That time in my fic that I haven't completed that my SoSu George and Nick went to Fenway ready to fight. Still working on a firm design for my Pre-War Nick Valentine. Having more fun with Sargent pastel oils. Please don't repost or use my art thanks.

yo shoutouts to my local drug infested sex den
So Fox News ran a story about how they think libraries are turning into drug-infested sex dens and I am shocked, shocked that I was never offered any drugs during my 15+ years working in libraries.

Hello, bienvenue! This is my Fallout blog. I write fanfiction, take screenshots and am a former Nukapedia contributor. I'm from the Canadian tundra and I'm an immigrant to the United States. My fave Fallout is Fallout 2.
Long Time Running is a slow burn longfic that turns MacCready's time at Med-Tek into a failure, forcing him to start over to help his child. It has playlists, in-depth & highly detailed descriptions, addresses the Canadian Annexation and Dogmeat talks like he's Charlie from All Dogs Go To Heaven. And much more!
I met and married @edaworks thanks to Fallout - we often collaborate on Fallout worldbuilding. Ever wonder about vertibirds, what tech the Institute has, agriculture or where MacCready's homestead was? Send us an ask! You can otherwise find us exploring the Capital Wasteland and Appalachia with our Shiba Inu, Mishka.
I offer beta reading/editing for fanfic writers with a focus on grammar, research and universe continuity as time & existing commitments allow - DM me and I'll see what I can do. I have a background in newsprint journalism, music zine editing and paralegal work. If I'm not doing any of the above, I'm tending to my garden and aroids.
