Alright- i finally came around and made a lil fanart of the Wittebane brothers with the design of @angstyhikka in her clean page AU! I absolutely ADORE their and and will surely try make some other fanart as soon as I have some free time.

Now, smol disclaimer and apology, I did take this as an opportunity to experiment a bit with a new brush- the thing is, her artstyle is SO dynamic and visually interesting to look at, and it sort of inspired me a lot and made me want to try something new! I should have probably made some study and surely more practice rather than jumping right into this- but oh well, it is what it is-

Although the final result is a bit odd in some points, I do consider myself overall satisfied with the result. In particular with their faces and eyes! I think they look SO pretty, i would suggest you all to zoom on them bcs the texture really makes them- idk, it makes me feel as if they have a soul? If that makes sense?

I also made a version without lineart- i personally prefer it with my classic lineart as I feel it makes everything more cohesive and considering I am not an expert in doing sharp/soft edges to define forms, it helps a lot, but let me know what you think!

I also did struggle a bit with Caleb, I don’t think I usually draw … oldish people? Mature people? Something I definitely have to work on- ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, i think Philip looks adorable and his hair flows in a very nice way!

Here at the end I will also add a quick version I made with my usual flat colors just for comparison!

Not sure if I will continue experimenting with this particular brush, but It was very interesting and I really hope you can enjoy the result!

(Also not sure if is intentional, but I find it fascinating how their color palettes are inverted? Maybe is a me thing, but I always associate Philip with red due his childhood outfit and Caleb with blue due his jacket, so see them switched is very cute! But maybe that is just me-)

Happy The Owl House Anniversary!

Finally i finished this drawing! I thought posting it in honor of the owl house anniversary was just the perfect occasion!

This is after all my favorite episode in the whole series and the one I consider had the most potential!

Making lil Pip glowing was SO HARD but I am honestly so proud of how this all look! The colors, the green accents, the poses, the hair, the composition- I think this is one of my best works tbh ahahaha

Huntlow dtiys

I made this for a dtiys challenge on instagram!

Drawing these 2 was quite fun, I am particularly proud of hoe vibrant and alive the colors look, and also of how ADORABLE Willow looks with that fluffy slightly rebellious hair- I am so proud of it! The og idea was too cute I couldn’t resist, I really liked their outfits and how their color palettes worked together, so I tried to do my best to give the same vibes in my style!

Personally, I prefer seeing these 2 as platonic pair before the timeskip, simply very good friends with nothing else to it. The idea of them getting together during the timeskip tho is so cute, these 2 are some of my fav characters and they had so much potential in their dynamic, wish we had seen more!

Hihi, here we are with another small animation for my lil the owl house AU, Charis!AU!

This time, I will give you a small snippet of the relationship between Caleb&Hunter (yes Hunter still exists in this AU, and he is still a Caleb Grimwalker). Rather than being the emperor’s nephew, he is the emperor’s “son” and well, they di nit really have a positive relationship what can I say. Caleb isn’t going to win the award for father of the year any time soon.

So here we are with another ask! I am very very happy with how this looks composition-wise, I think they look SO CUTE

Idk what I tried to do with the colors tho tbh- they aren’t bad per se, but I do think they look kind of odd for some reason.

I also thought it would do good to add in a lil Caleb hehehe- I imagine this as Caleb having to leave for like, maybe going to take smth at Gravesfield and it just would be far too dangerous to get Pip back in there with him, so he decided to leave him with the person he trusts the most in the world, Evelyn ofc! If someone can look after his lil brother, that is surely her! Philip isn’t happy at the beginning, but eventually has to accept it, and it actually isn’t so bad (although he still misses his brother ofc),

I find it very funny how I accidentally gave Pip sort of sick Victorian child vibes IMAO

My first time drawing Willow, Gus and Amity and I am soooo happy what they look like! I tried to sneak in some minor personal headcanon too, it was somewhat challenging to draw all these new characters in one go as I had to figure out the proportions and how they would look in my style, but ultimately I think they are all so adorable! Had so much fun with their face shapes and body types and outfits, they are all so cute I love them!

The Owl House: Hunters’ Bane

So, this is the cover page of what will be a smol comic inspired by the story written by @randomaccount95 and @migmiger , a sort of AU for the WIttebane lore. I will actually soon enough make a pinned post with all the information about all my projects bcs I have too many going on and I need some order in my life. ANYWAY, more or less the plot goes like this:

Caleb (18) and Philip(13) are two young orphans who live in Gravesfield, and who have a goal in mind, becoming great witch hunters (as per their city tradition)! Unfortunately, Philip is still too young to join the hunts, and as such is forced to stay at home while his brother leaves with the other hunters. Not this night tho, as Philip decides to sneak away and follow his older brother into the forest. What either doesn’t know, is that for the first time they will run into an actually witch! Trying to capture her, the two brothers will accidentally cross a magic portal that takes them to the Boiling Isles. Stranded there with no way home and the mysterious witch no where in sight, the Teo brothers need to survive in this unknown dangerous world until they can find a way home. What they don’t know, is that in the Boiling Isles, there is a practice that is just as popular as witch hunting back at Gravesfield, which is, Human Hunting. From predators to preys, will the two Wittebanes be able to survive and find their way back home?

The story is actually VERY long, I have made just a couple pages for now that I will post in the following days, and I am not too sure if I will continue it. Let me know tho if you’d like for this to become a steady series and get new pages let’s say every week or so :3

You know, making comic pages really makes me gain so much respects (even more than what I already had) for comic artists bcs is SO HARD.

Planning how to make a page, where to put the speech bubbles, the composition, the lineart, not make it boring it takes SO LONG, I would say each page takes me from 2 to 3 hours and a half, which is A LOT

Still, is quite fun, and is good training for different angles and compositions!

This lil project was also partially inspired by the small comics posted by @captainmera which are truly always a pleasure to read and look at, and helps to feed my Wittebane brainrot.

Here we are with another fanart for my friend and their rp!

Previous pip&hunter art

The plot more or less is: a young philip wittebane falls thru some space-time pool and ends up in the canon of the series (a couple of years earlier the events of TOH), and is picked up by Belos, ending becoming a sort of special guard in his own right (is kind of more complex than that tho from what I understood). Him and hunter do not really get a long at first, but eventually grow closer and the canon events of series change accordingly. The bits they shared with me are really nice, and they are still looking for rp partners if any of you is interested into that, just pm @randomaccount95

This scene was smth along the lines of them running away from the bat Queen after trying to get palismans for Belos

So- ehm- yeah I sort of gave up on the background I am sorry I didn’t not know how to draw trees-

I was really happy with the pose tho, as I really had no clue how to draw this and i 100% had to improvise ahahah

The proportions are a lil odd, as for how much sick Victorian child pip may be he does look a bit too scrawny here- BUT ANYWAY, I still think is very cute! Let me know what you think pls

The Owl House: Charis!AU

Full animation

Here we are with a very small and rough sketch of what my Charis!AU is about!

I really should make a file about this- but anyways, in some ways this AU can be seen as some sort of swap AU (although, the swap is only for Philip and Caleb, and Philip is actually alive and well-)

Without giving out too much, Caleb is the one who ends up developing a very unhealthy attachment to his younger brother, his affection and duty of taking care of the younger soon enough becoming unhealthy, as he grows more controlling of him, feeling in some sort of way as if Philip is “owed” to him for all the sacrifices he had had to endure since he was a child himself. When … let’s say something happen to Philip, Caleb doesn’t take it very well, and after centuries of trying to find a way back to his little brother, or at least avenge him, his behavior surely takes a more obsessive and possessive turn.

Is very complicated to explain in few words, and kind of very dark-

STILL, this is just a small doodle, I will make soon the polished version with the og audio :3

Sorry i know this isn’t exactly hat you asked for- but honestly i failed miserably at finding a reference for the ask and without it the drawing looked very awkward- so I decided to try and go with the next best and more similar thing I could come up with! Which is Evelyn tickling lil Philip on his tummy!

I think this looks adorable, I am having the time of my life drawing these two interacting and being wholesome together. LIKE-JUST LOOK AT THEM

The Owl House: Charis!AU

I really liked the general composition of the drawing I made for one ask about Philip Wittebane, so I decided to use the same template to introduce once more my own versions of the characters of my personal toh!AU

I think it looks better this way and feels more dynamic, so here we are with our favorite Golden Guard!

His and Philip’s are by far my favorite designs I have came up with- I am particularly proud of his mask (it looks simple but it took me DAYA to come up with something somewhat decent- it was awful honestly, but worth the effort!)

Also, I am finally get the hang of how to color with the pencil you suggested me @barnowled
