Area Found: Gameverse Pokemon: Touya and Bell/Bianca [Rebelshipping] Type: Water/Fire Level: 2 Dex Number: Nineteen Dex Information: Touya thinks he's really bad at giving kisses. That's Touko's fault. [An attempt at a one page fic]
Tumblr media
Touya can't kiss, this he knows. Or rather... This is what he thinks because Touko said she was the one that he had to kiss that one time he was blindfolded, but that wasn't actually even true. Cheren had been the actual person and he begged Touko to take the hit for him so he'd never have to think about it ever again. And what with Touko being the bully tomboy she was, she was going to make the poor boy think he failed in the kissing department. Naturally one can assume that when he lost a bet and had to be locked in a closet with Bell until he kissed her that he wasn't too thrilled over the idea. Quite the contrary, he was nervous as all hell and simply stood there toying with their laced fingers while Bell stood there giggling quietly at him.
"Listen, Bell, i-it's not like you need to kiss me or anything. You can just say t-that you did without doing it because I know I'm not--"
"Touya--"
Her words went unheard as the boy continued to ramble nervously, shifting where he stood as he spoke. "I mean, Touko told me I suck at it, and no girl wants to kiss a--"
"Touya...--"
I mean maybe it's best if I just never kiss anyone agai--"
With a childish huff, the blonde tugged on the brunet's jacket, forcing him to stumble forward and let his lips clumsily meet her own while he stood there in a shocked, confused daze. Honestly, he didn't think Bianca would be one for taking the initiative.
Pulling back slowly, the blonde offered a gentle smile to Touya. "I wanted to kiss you, though. Isn't that enough?"
The only response she was given in return was a blush that reached all the way to the boy's ears followed by a nervous peck on her lips, which she could only giggle at before returning the action in a cheerful fashion. Touya wasn't as bad as he might've thought when it came to kisses, in her opinion.

Area Found: AU Pokemon: Crystal and Cheren [DarkJewelshipping] Type: Water Level: 2 Dex Number: Eighteen Dex Information: Every morning she'd come and order the same peppermint mocha. Based on this post.
Tumblr media
Cheren had always been the one to enjoy cities more than he would've enjoyed small towns and the like despite how he was raised in one back in Unova. Well, to be specific, he actually was BORN in a city but by the age of about six or seven his parents decided it'd be better on the boy to live in a more rural setting so he would be more developed somehow or another. However, even though they did that, the raven never did grow out of his love for the city. That's when he got offered a job to work for the likes of Professor Oak in the lab he had stationed in Goldenrod City, he didn't hesitate at all to accept and move over despite how his two closest friends BEGGED him not to leave and stay with them. After all, one had to follow their dreams. Such things waited for no man or woman, and when it was dangling just inside your reach of course you were going to reach out and take it.
The bespectacled teen enjoyed Goldenrod very much not long after settling in, and he had even found a place to visit daily just before heading into work each morning to work on files and study many different pokemon. It was a little coffee shop on the corner of a small street that had sold the best coffee he had ever tasted and rivaled that of all the professional coffee shops in Castelia City and he would always go no matter what to get his daily cup.
Though, that wasn't the only reason. There was another. Every morning around the same time he went to take his usual seat near the window by the door, there would also be a stunningly beautiful blue haired girl that had her hair always tied up in spunky pigtails and would order the same peppermint mocha without fail. Cheren had grown to look forward to seeing her enter the shop for how interesting she seemed in person... The blue haired girl had a professional look about her, however she still seemed to hold that which was the innocence of a regular teen-aged girl.
RING!
The ringing of the bell just above the coffee shop's door caught Cheren's attention from where it had been focused on the small pocket sized book in his hand, cobalt eyes lifting to see a blue haired girl around his age walk into the shop slowly and up to the counter where the cashier girl greeted her with a chipper smile.
"Hello! Would you like the usual, Miss Crystal?" she asked, head canting to the side in an overly cheerful manner.
Crystal didn't answer, she just stood there in silent, which made both the cashier and Cheren raise a single brow in confusion. This was odd...
"Miss Crystal?"
Said girl flinched a bit, bright namesake eyes widening before she shook her head a bit. "Oh, right, sorry. I'll have a vanilla latte, Mary." she replied, smiling sheepishly.
The cashier girl blinked a bit in confusion, though she didn't argue and quickly went to get what she requested. The whole while, she simply stood there in silent with a stance that matched that of a zombie. What was wrong with her today...? This wasn't like the Crystal Cheren usually saw walk into the coffee shop every morning.
"Here you are, Crystal. Enjoy that."
"Thank you."
With that, the girl in the star earrings turned, her gaze incidentally locking with Cheren's, who was currently still eyeing her quietly with a cool and collected look on his face. For a moment, she stared back in hopes he would back down, though of course the stubborn raven did no such thing at all and instead stared back as if challenging her. Giving a quiet 'hm' under her breath, Crystal walked over to the Unovan native to stand alongside his table, eyes narrowing ever so slightly.
"And dare I ask why you're staring at me?" she demanded, a bit of venom in her voice.
Cheren was quiet for a moment, however after taking a slow, quiet sip of his coffee, he pointed to the drink in her hands. "You're bothered by something. You're not yourself today, are you?" he inquired, sitting up straighter from where he had been slouching a bit while reading his book.
"I-- What?"
"You always get a peppermint mocha every morning without fail, yet today you got something different. Not to mention you seemed rather distracted at the counter, which doesn't seem like you." He paused a bit, head tilting a bit away from the girl as he took another sip of his drink awkwardly, staring at the people walking past on the sidewalk. "Pardon if that seems weird. But it's the truth, isn't it?"
Crystal said nothing as a reply, only shifting her weight on one foot.
"I see... Well, if you want to talk about it, Miss Crystal, you can sit and t--"
And before he could say anymore, she had instantly taken a seat across from him and he couldn't help but flinch at the suddenness of it. Yes, clearly she had something bothering her and no doubt with how distracted she looked, she wasn't even going to wait for him to ask her what was wrong before she got to talking about her problem.
"My friend Gold is supposed to be going overseas to the Hoenn region to start a new job." she began, sky blue optics focused down at the liquid in her cup as she started to take quick sips every few seconds. "He's stupid and reckless and doesn't know how to take care of himself at all and is constantly asking for Silver and I to help him get out of his problems, and I just can't see any way where he won't end up hurting himself if he goes out there away from us! Despite the fact he's the oldest out of the three of us, he has the thought process of a little kid! Do you understand how stupid this decision of his is?" Crystal gave him a pleading stare, as if trying to get him to agree.
Unfortunately for her, Cheren was not going to play favorites in anything at all. Even for a pretty face. "No, I'm afraid I don't." was all he said at first, which Crys responded with a confused scrunch of her nose. "Let me give you an example of what I mean. I have a friend back where I used to live who was incredibly childish himself, however he grew up remarkably after traveling with a police man and has now decided to work with him as a junior detective. Before he would yell and be very hyperactive to anything he found interesting, but if you were to look at him now you wouldn't be able to see the same person. It's only my speculation as to why he chose to go with Mister Looker, but..." The bespectacled teen paused, index finger dragging around the top of his cup, as if trying to put together what he was trying to say. "I believe he knew that he was childish too and wanted to grow up as Bel and I have. Which, of course, he most certainly has. That being said, I believe that is what your friend-- Gold, was it?-- is doing as well. I don't think you need to worry at all, because he is going to do what he thinks needs to be done. Can you understand my reasoning?"
The female was silent for a moment before humming in thought and taking a slow sip of her coffee, curious gaze locked with his for a moment, though it still seemed a bit uncertain. "That didn't come to mind. I suppose I wasn't thinking straight out of worry, now that you mention it... I'm sorry." She laughed quietly, one shoulder hitching up in a sheepish shrug. "And Gold actually has his smart moments, I'll admit. Maybe he WILL be fine like your friend is."
Ah, that was nice. It pleased him greatly to know that she was getting back to her old self. Perhaps now he could always have that conversation he always wanted to have with he--
Ring ring ring ring!
Dammit.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot about my phone! It's my job, so I have to answer." Crystal said hurriedly, grabbing the device out from her pocket and giving an apologetic smile to the male across from her as she answered her phone. "Oh, hello? Professor Oak?"
Wait what. She worked under the same man he did?
"Yes, I know I'm late which isn't like me... I'm sorry. I'll come over right away, alright? Yes. Yes, alright. Thank you for your patience... Alright, goodbye." With that, she hung up, and she gave a questioning stare at the look Cheren was giving her. "What...?"
"You also work under Professor Oak?"
"Yes, I'm his head assistant but I was out for a few days-- Oh! Wait, you do too...?"
Cheren just smiled and nodded and grabbed one of her hands, shaking it slightly before placing a faint kiss on it that made Crystal blush darkly. "I do, actually. I find this quite ironic. I was going to be heading over soon as well, so would you like to accompany me, Crystal?"
Crystal hummed, a pleased smile finding its way onto her face when she nodded back. "Yes, of course. I'd like that very much."
With that, he stood up and helped her up with him as they both headed towards the exit, though of course they didn't get to leave before Mary had walked up to the two of them and held a carry out cup to Crystal that held her favorite drink that she always got every morning. "Before you go, Miss Crystal!"
The pigtailed teen nodded in gratitude, accepting the cup before running her arm through Cheren's and starting to walk down the sidewalk. "So... I don't think I ever got your name while we were talking, you know. Even though you know mine."
"Oh, yes, my name is Cheren. I'm sorry for not telling you sooner."
She laughed, bringing her cup of coffee to her lips to hide her smile. "I think we're going to be good friends, Cheren."

Area Found: Game Pokemon: Roark and Gardenia [Mossshipping] Type: Fire/Water Level: 2 Dex Number: Seventeen Dex Information: Byron should've stayed away from the yarn and needles, because he made the worst sweaters known to man. And the worst part? He gave it to Gardenia for Christmas...
Tumblr media
"Roark, I don't want to wear iiiittt..." Gardenia whined in a childish manner from where she sat on the couch, waving her arms over her head a bit as the redhead standing in front of her folded his arms with a slow shake of his head.
"Gardenia, please, now's not the time to do this..." said rock type gym leader mumbled as he slid a dirt brown sweater over the brunette's head, frowning a bit at the childish pout the young woman shot u at him as she hugged herself, index and thumb fingers rubbing at the piece of clothing he had tugged over her head.
"But it's so ugly!" the grass type trainer huffed, pointing at the black and brown block pattern on the front.
He sighed, bending down so earth brown eyes could stare into twinkling hazel ones that were narrowed ever so slightly. Honestly, this girl could be the epitome of difficult sometimes  Roark sometimes wondered how he head dealt with her for so long. Well, he had come to love the childishness in her somehow or another since it had the ability to be pretty cute. Placing one hand on her left knee to keep himself stabilized, he then used the other to take one of her hands in his and rub at her knuckles reassuringly.
"Alright, I know that the sweater isn't the greatest in the world, but my father made it for you and he's just a little over-excited this year because this is the first year you and I are spending Christmas together... With him." The man explained with a soothing, understanding voice. "You can wear it for just one night for my sake, can't you?"
Gardenia sighed, tossing her attention to the left of her for a moment before giving a reluctant nod of agreement which was followed by her grabbing at one of his sleeves and tugging on it slightly. "Fine." she agreed. "But as payment, kiss me."
At the suggestion, the redhead flushed in embarrassment, eyes widening ever so slightly behind rectangular lenses. Nervously, he glanced from side to side before leaning towards the woman ever to slightly to whisper.
"B-But Gardenia, what if father--"
"Oh, you're not gonna melt if he catches us, silly!" Literally, anyway, since she was very aware Roark could melt from embarrassment.
The older sputtered something incoherent, nodding ever so quickly in a shy manner and giving a quiet murmur of the word 'fine'. Gardenia herself couldn't help but giggle in amusement at his attitude, scooting forward on the edge of where she was sitting on the couch and wrapping her arms around the rock type trainer's neck to pull him closer.
"I honestly don't know how I deal with a girlfriend like you sometimes." Roark mumbled under his breath, knowing very well said woman could hear due to the close proximity before placing a gentle kiss upon her lips, which she returned with much enthusiasm.
"And I have to say you're the sweetest boyfriend a girl could ask for, Rourie ♥" The brunette chirped after the sweet exchange of affection had stopped.
The only thing Roark could do was groan and roll his eyes in exasperation while bringing the sweatered girl into a hug, which Gardenia returned as she nuzzled into his chest.

Area Found: Game Pokemon: Red and Blue [Classicshipping] Type: Fire/Dark Level: 1 Dex Number: Sixteen Dex Information: "It was fun while it lasted, you know, Red." Based on this post.
Tumblr media
Red wasn't one for talking, that much was very evident. He had been raised to be a good, quiet boy that never spoke out of turn and only did when it was something he really needed or had to get out (which, you guessed it, wasn't very often). Being like that frustrated a lot of the people that would normally try to talk to him on a daily basis to the point where some even got fed up and stopped talking to him. Some asked his mother if he was truly just a mute boy, however she would simply just giggle and shake her head and tell them that Red was just a boy that chose his words and people wisely and those who bothered to stay by his side were the ones he deemed acceptable.
And of course, mother always knew best. That was assured when Red would constantly hang around a girl with long brown hair and bright blue yes, whose name matched those bright blue orbs that would twinkle in happiness or shine with mischievous intent.
Her name was Blue Leaf Midori.
Blue was a girl who wouldn't stop doing something until she got what she wanted, was never seen NOT being happy, and she did whatever she could to annoy people like Shigeru who she had long since deemed an easy target the day she befriended the two of them when she moved into town when she was ten years old. Red never complained about her at all. As a matter of fact, he enjoyed her company. No, scratch that. He loved her company. Whenever Blue was around him, he would smile ever so sincerely in a way that would shock even his own mother. Though, naturally, it was a good kind of shock for the woman knew that look. Her son was in love with that girl that was the complete opposite of him more than she would probably ever know, and she couldn't help but grin the day they actually became something more than just friends.
She did, of course, when Red came home one day and declared suddenly while eating dinner that he had asked Blue to be his girlfriend and she accepted. The look on his face looked so happy; so peaceful; so ecstatic that he looked like the most happiest young teen on Earth that had finally found his first love. He most certainly seemed that way when he would walk with Blue hand in hand, placing gentle kisses on her lips before they departed for each others respective homes and went to bed, and embracing her ever so warmly and nuzzle into her head of thick brown hair to inhale her sweet scent that always smelled faintly of blueberries.
'I never want to leave you, Red.' Blue would say whilst hugging him like that, giving one of her signature giggles and nuzzling into his shoulder playfully. 'I always want to be by your side no matter what happens so I can always make you happy.'
And Red would always tell her the very same thing back. However...
"Red, I think it's time we broke up."
There were times when the girl's honesty were the hardest things in the world for him.
"...What? Why?" Red questioned from where he sat on his bed next to the brunette, namesake eyes widening slowly as he mumbled the words as a reply.
Blue nodded, keeping her gaze locked with his and showing so signs of faltering with her words. Though, she did let a weak laugh and a crooked smile escape slip through her lips. "It was fun while it lasted, you know, Red, but I think it's time we stopped."
"I don't..." This didn't feel like the Blue Red knew... Why?
"I'm sorry." The female trainer said, leaning towards him to place a kiss on his cheek and smile sadly from where he couldn't see. "But really, it's for the best. You'll find someone better, anyway, right Mister Champion?" At that, she stood up and ruffled his mess of red hair a bit before walking out the door and leaving Red sitting there to stare longingly at where she had been once standing in the doorway.
                                                       • • •
"Blue's still not here." Red mumbled under his breath as he sat next to Shigeru under one of the trees in Pallet Town just like they used to do when they were young children, gaze falling to his shoes as he shifted how he sat ever so slightly.
"Hah? Of course she isn't! She's in the hospital, remember? She's been there for about two weeks!" his spiky haired rival replied irritably as if the other should have known something so obvious, one hand moving to shove him a bit. "Jeez, Gramps and I actually went to visit her a few days ago! She's still acting as dumb as ever even though the doctor said she--"
"Shigeru."
Said boy stopped in his rant, turning his head to meet the wide frightened eyes of his best friend and he couldn't help but feel his blood run cold. Red had never known...?
"Blue's in the hospital...?"
"Oh, Red, I'm..."
He had just made a horrible mistake, hadn't he?
                                                       • • •
Blue sighed wistfully from where she sat on the bed, blue eyes-- eyes that were once shining with life that now seemed like dull puddles of water-- focused emptily on the sky outside. How many times had she looked at the same sky in her life with happy thoughts, she wondered? Though, of course, the answer was obvious and a sad smile couldn't help but creep onto her face. Of course, it was always with Red. He had always lightened up her day despite his quietness (she found it cute, to be honest), and being around him made her feel as if she had never had a sickness like hers in the first place.
"Sir, please, calm down--" a nurse shouted from outside, which was then followed by the slamming open of Blue's hospital room door and forcing her head to jerk in the direction of where it was located.
"... Red?"
Red said nothing to Blue's words, simply walking over to her and staring back into her namesake eyes with just as much fear as he had done with Shigeru (the look had never left his face since he heard about it and ran over, to be honest). "... Blue, I'm... Here..."
The girl was quiet for a moment, though one of her gentle smiles appeared on her face as she sat up completely and patted beside her where she was sitting, which Red automatically replied with sitting where she had been ushering for him to do so. Her happy demeanor returned as if it had never left her, and she thus proceeded talking to him as if they had never broken up and Red couldn't help but wonder why. He didn't question it, though, for he just listened to her talk about how she was doing and why she was in the hospital in the first place. Apparently she had heart problems he learned, however Blue would always laugh in a way that sounded painful and called it 'battery failure' instead. She talked and talked about how much she had been going through her health issues, and pointed out the things he had missed and never thought anything about until now.
He almost felt like a bad boyfriend for it... If he could still call himself that to her.
They talked until visiting hours were over, and when the nurse came and told the young champion he had to go, at first he refused with everything he had to leave Blue's side. Such was to be expected from a caring person like him, but Blue knew how to handle him. She knew what would reassure him and what would be able to make him leave for the night and go home and come back some other time.
"Red, you can come back tomorrow, okay?" Blue said in a soft, reassuring voice as she patted his shoulder. "We can talk more then, okay? I'll wait for you!"
"You definitely will?" Red questioned back with a childish look.
"Definitely."
The raven sighed, standing up and walking towards the exit after giving Blue one last glance and leaving. Once she heard no more footsteps outside, the brunette just laughed and laid her head back down on her pillows to stare up at the ceiling and close her eyes.
"Just kidding, hehe... Like I said, Red, we had a good run..." she muttered before drifting off to sleep with a smile.
However, the next day when Red came back to see her, Blue had never woken up.
"Blue? Wake up, Blue. Blue...? Come on." Red called from her bedside, leaning close to her and far back in a childish manner only she had gotten to know, a confused frown evident on his face. "Blue, he--" At that, the boy reached out and grabbed her hand in his, only for the color to drain from his face and his heart stop completely. Her body was ice cold...
"Blue, say something. BLUE, WAKE UP..."
He got no response.
"BLUE!"
Nothing.
"You... IDIOT...!" he whispered in a hoarse voice as tears started to fall down his cheeks, bending down to hold her in his arms and cry. "You're the biggest idiot I've ever met. The worst in the world!"
He hadn't talked so much at one time, so surely if someone other than Shigeru and his mother was here, they'd be rather shocked to hear him talking right now.
A quiet sound escaped his throat, and there was no other way to describe it other than a sound one would make when your heart was ripped out of you and shredded to pieces. "And I still love you..."

STUPID EARTH HOLIDAYS
Tumblr media
I tried and im so sorry
"HEY. ASSHOLE. TURN THE FUCK AROUND."
The person the words were referred to, Kankri-- who had been previously having a long winded conversation with Meenah who did not seem that pleased with anything he was saying at all-- paused in what he was doing, arms still folded across his chest as he turned on one heel to come face to face with his descendant, Karkat. To describe the younger troll at the current moment, the only word that came to the older's mind was... Pouty. This was a rather odd occurrence  seeing how Karkat in particular attempted to avoid Kankri at all costs.
"One moment Meenah--" Kankri began, turning his head back, though he stopped when he realized the girl was long gone. No doubt she had slipped the moment his attention had been torn from her... He would find her again to continue their conversation later, he decided, and then turned back to the shorter person who was still glaring at him. "Yes, Karkat? Is there something you wish to ask of me? If it pertains to what were conversing about last time, I assure you--"
Before he could continue, Karkat shoved a cup into his face, the sudden closeness of the object in what he designated 'invading his personal space' cutting his words short. Out of sheer confusion, he did not accept it just yet. Instead, he tilted his head to the side ever so slightly to examine his descendant.
Karkat huffed in annoyance, quickly turning his head away to avoid any eye contact with the other, keeping the cup held out as he did so. "Strider tells me there's this stupid Earth holiday where this fat man climbs into your hive and gives you presents if you're "GOOD" or some shit, and you give presents to people you know. SO HERE, TAKE MY GODDAMN PRESENT OR WHATEVER. I don't care what you do with it." he explained irritably, waving the object ever so slightly.
Kankri accepted the mug slowly, staring down at the grey coloring of it that had the letters "TW" in big, bold, red letters on the side of it. "Oh... Thank you, Karkat. I find the fact you are willing to give me a present to show some form of endearment towards me rather nice, and I am more than happy to accept it. I have heard of this day of celebration before while reading about the human culture and it's many holidays and I am quite sure the man's name is Santa Clause. I am sure that you are in his good graces for being kind enough to give me a present as a sign of your affection and--"
"OH MY GOD, CAN'T YOU JUST TAKE THE DAMN PRESENT WITH GOING ON FOR THREE HOURS ABOUT IT? THIS IS WHY I AVOID YOU!"
"Really now, I do wish you all would stop interrupting me when I am speaking so I don't see the need to repeat myself, but if you wish, I will make my response as short as possible: I was aware of this holiday and I took the liberty of getting you something similar as well."
"... You what." Sure, Kankri seemed like the type to give others presents, but anything worth having? Probably not, that was for sure. After all, this was the guy who wrote essay's twelve pages long for his friends when he was alive that they never even read.
"Indeed. Here, I actually have it with me at the moment since I planned on seeing you later to give it to you before the day was finished. I assumed that since you are rather close with humans, you would surely give an attempt to celebrate their customs at least somewhat." With that, the troll in the red sweater turned and grabbed something with his free hand and quickly turned back around to face the younger with a rather blank look, extending his hand out that also held a cup similar to the one that had been respectively given to him. How ironic was it, for he and Karkat both to have thought of the very same thing to give each other... Even more ironic since the Alternian didn't seem that fond of the older on the surface.
Karkat snatched the gift out of Kankri's hands rather hastily, staring down at it with narrowed eyes at a sticky note that was placed on it. "What is this?" he demanded, pulling it off to stare at the blur of red writing written on it.
"Oh yes, when I chose to give it to you, the writing on it had quite the offensive language and I took it upon myself to place a trigger on it somehow or another. From our previous conversations, I am sure talking about it in full detail would not please you, and Latula suggested I did that instead."
"That defeats the whole fucking purpose of having writing on a cup." The Alternian snapped, looking back down at the gift he had been given that had the words "HAVE A NICE CUP OF SHUT THE FUCK UP" in bold white letters. He would of laughed, but the aforementioned triggers placed upon it made it kind of dumb now. God, he had a really annoying Dancestor.
"Well? What do you think of it, Karkat? Are you as pleased with it as I am upon finding it and thinking it suited your tastes?" Kankri questioned, however he received nothing as a reply as Karkat turned with a huff and stomped away. Honestly, he had such a problematic descendant...
                                                     • • • •
"Aw, Kankles, the cup you have is so cute!" Latula chirped as she walked up to the one in the red sweater later on that day, who sat with a contemplative look on his face, casually sipping from the mug he had been given earlier. "Look, it's red and it has your favorite letters on it! Who gave it to you?"
"Oh, Karkat did... I also gave him something in return, you know. We were conversing about Earth Holidays."
"Did he huff and run away after he gave it to you?"
"Yes."
The skateboarder snorted in amusement, lifting a hand to ruffle Kankri's hair. "Good job, Kankles! I'm proud of you for trying to hard to let him know you thought of him."
"Yes, thank you, Latula... Perhaps next time will be more profitable."

Area Found: Game Pokemon: Touya and Hyuu Type: Electric/Fire Level: 2 Dex Number: Fifteen Dex Information: It wasn't like Hyuu to be as quiet as he was, that was for sure. Kyouhei just couldn't even begin to imagine what had him acting so peculiar.
Tumblr media
It wasn't everyday that Kyouhei had seen his best friend and rival so fidgety and QUIET, especially on a day like today when the brunette's older brother, Touya, of all people came to pay a visit to them and be the usually bubbly idiot he was and toy around with the two and the raven's younger sister. Well, Kana liked the guy and was more than happy to laugh and giggle when he picked her up on his pack or spun her around, so the guy never really did yell back to tell the hero to stop touching his younger sister but right now... He wasn't even giving his usual grumbled of complaint as he sat on the bench lining Hiougi beach and watched Touya and his sister out the corner of his eye every so often as he ketp his head turned away. Truly, this wasn't like the Hyuu Kyouhei usually knew.
"Hey, Hyuu, what's up with you?" the palm top asked as he took a seat beside the raven, examining his friend curiously at how the boy shifted where he sat.
"Nothing." Hyuu huffed, lowering his head to turn his childish glare over to Kana and Touya, who seemed oblivious to the two from where they were currently immersed in their own little world of laughter.
"Come on, there's something wrong with you. You're so quiet!" the younger insisted  reaching out to poke at Hyuu's side teasingly, however he paused instantaneously as the other flinched away from him a bit. Well, that was odd..."...Hey, you sure you're okay? Did something happen while I was out training with Mei yesterday? I know I left Niisan with you, but--"
At the mention, the raven haired teen's face flushed red and he shoved Kyouhei with a little bit too much force than required. "I-I said i'm fine, shut up!"
The visored boy sat there for a moment in silence at the dark red staining his friend's cheeks, but he said no more as he took a semi-scoot away from him and slouched in his sitting position. "Ohhhkay then, mister bipolar." he said with a slow sigh, though it was clear to show he was able to joke around with the other somehow or another.
"Heyyy, what's up with you two? I heard yelling." a teen a little older than Kyouhei asked as he walked up, carrying Hyuu's little sister on his back as she giggled and toyed with his jacket from the back as if he were a ponyta. "No argument or anything, right?"
"No, Niisan." Kyouhei assured him with a laugh. "I mean, Hyuu's been really quiet today and that's not like him so i thought you did something wrong while I left you with him yesterday when I went training... But you didn't do anything, right? You're more sensible than that."
Touya stood there for a moment, glancing over at the raven and noticing how the grip against the bench was so tight that his knuckles were bleached white, and he couldn't help but smirk ever so slightly as he took his cap off his head and set it ever so gently atop Hyuu's. What he was going to say was definitely going to be a mistake somehow or another, that was for sure. But since when did the young hero ever think of consequences? "Ah, right, right! I'm sorry, Kyou! After you left, Hyuu and I had some fun and i think I did him too hard so now it's hard for him to walk."
And at that moment, the four of them were so quiet, it was as if a car crash had happened. Kyouhei's eyes had widened at the words, Hyuu's jaw dropped which was accompanied by that of a mad, raging blush, and Kana was blinking ever so innocently as if trying to figure out what the words really meant. Touya, on the other hand, just gave an innocent-- perhaps sheepish, if you looked at it closely enough--  look as if nothing was wrong at all with what he had just said. this went on for at least a minute or two before Kana finally piped up, tugging at the back of Touya's head.
"Hey, hey, Touya... Did what? I wanna know!" she pleaded, giving that childish pout that little girl's managed to perfect within at least the first three years of being alive.
"NOTHING, WE'RE GOING HOME!" Hyuu shouted, standing up from where he was sitting with such suddenness that Kana jumped off Touya's back right away and started to join him. He paused after taking one step, turning back to glare at the ex-Unova Hero before grabbing his hat that was still on his head and shoving it in his face, which in turn forced him to fall backwards into the sand. Touya gave an inaudible blabber of words, however that did nothing to stop Hyuu from walking away from him with Kana.
Kyouhei stood his ground, however, and after his best friend and Kana were out of sight, he sighed and took a place in front of his older brother before bending down to be eye level with him as said person began brushing sand off of his clothes. "...So. Did he unleash his rage?" he questioned, attempting to keep his expression as passive as possible, but the way he pursed his lips as he spoke showed he found it rather amusing.
Said brother burst into laughter, twirling a few loose strands of hair around his index finger. "More like the other way around."
"Hyuu didn't seem like one to top anyway."
"Neither do you, Kyou."
"...Niisan, I was just starting to respect you. You lost it just now."
"And I am perfectly okay with that."

Area Found: New Journey Pokemon: Touku and Goldie Type: Normal/Electric Level: 1 Dex Number: Fourteen Dex Information: They were both idiots, that was an obvious thing when trying to find things that were similar about the two of them. but putting them together in the same room? That was the worst decision one could ever make. Requested by Plum.
Tumblr media
Gold gave an exasperated sigh as she rested her chin in one hand and eyes the chess set on the table she was currently sitting at, namesake eyes drifting slowly from one side to the next in disinterest as the redhead she was sitting next to, Silver, reached out and moved one of her white chess pieces. On the other side of the table, say a young girl in a blue blazer with red framed glasses by the name of Ren, whose eyes were focused down on the chess board with the utmost concentration. She was visiting on business with Professor Elm in the place of Professor Juniper and, if it wasn't already obvious, was quite intelligent. The Johto girl tapped a button on a box that was sitting in between them on one side, signaling it was her turn.
The woman wasn't here right now, and Silver and Gold had come upon her all alone setting up an old chess set she had found on a shelf. Being quite intellectual herself and having nothing better to do, Silver decided to play a game or two with the girl whereas Gold--
"This is the most boring game ever."
-- wasn't enthralled at all.
"You don't have to watch." Silver said, moving another chess piece.
"You said it was a board game!"
"Yes, a board game to put simply, I said."
Gold hummed, giving off a childish pout to the exchanger beside her before leaning towards her a bit. "You're lucky I love you, Silv."
Silver's cheeks flushed a light pink at the words, but she didn't give another single word as a retort. Nothing she said would keep Gold from not getting anymore bored than she already was anyway, after all. She'd need someone else for that.
"Anyway, I'm bored--"
The golden girl's words were cut off when the door to the lab suddenly swung open and hit the wall with a bang, causing the three people sitting at the table to turn their attention to the door. Standing in the doorway was a boy with a bright pink hat with a big ponytail sticking out the back and stopped at his shoulders. He flashed a big grin and saluted from his place in the doorway, and Gold could've swore she saw Ren's skin color pale considerably. Said breeder, on the other hand, brightened at the sight of the teen.
"Ren, there ya are! I was looking for you!" the ponytailed boy said to the bespectacled girl as he closed the door behind him and walked up to the table, slinging an arm around her shoulders since he clearly had nothing over having personal space. "This town is bigger than you'd think, yanno!"
Ren huffed, shoving him off of her and proceeding to slide one of her chess pieces forward. "Leave me alone, Touku, I'm busy."
"Pssh, yeah, playin' a boring game, that is." Touku mocked, waving one hand daintily to the chess set to emphasize what he was referring to.
"I know, right?" Gold butted in with a quiet 'snrrk', fingers drumming against the table.
"Yeah, yeah!" The Nuvema native agreed, pointing to Gold with his index and middle fingers. "Dude, don't ever play this game, alright? It's the most boring thing ever! I should know, Ren got me to play with her one time. thinking is for dumb people anyway, right?"
"Touku, do you notice the amount of irony in what you just sai--"
"Hah, who needs to think when you're naturally grand anyway?" The raven haired girl pointed out. A few seconds later, she snapped her fingers as if she had just remembered something and tapped on the surface of the table not far from Touku's hand as if to catch his attention. "Oh, Touku, that reminds me."
"You!" said boy chirped, signaling he was listing.
The amber eyed teen clapped her hands together before making a gun-like shape with her fingers and clicking her tongue a bit, offering a wink as well. "Yoooo~"
The brunette blinked at the other for a moment, then proceeding to grin and mimic her actions. "Ah, Yooooooo~" he answered, drawing his reply out longer than hers.
"Yooooooooo~"
"Yaooooohhhhhh~"
"Yoohoo~"
"Hohohooo~"
Both of them grew silent at that, their eyes narrowing at each other almost simultaneously. this was now a declaration of war they were both willing to accept despite the stupidity of it. The Johto girl and Unova boy both leaned over the table to get closer to each other, Touku managing to be the first one to continue.
"Yoyody yo, yoyoyo, yoing~"
Gold simply grinned, leaning backing in her chair and waving a hand through the vacant air in front of her. "Yooooo zabenyoooo babaitz bi ba yooo."
Okay, Disney movies. Two could play at that game. "I wanna yo like you, yo to the yo, yo-oh-ohh~"
At that, Gold stood and leaned over the table a bit, her grin refusing to fade at all. "Hey hey, yoyo, I don't think you can yo!"
Touku repeated the motion, eyes narrowing devilishly. "Yo hey, yo hey, you can't even yo, you know!"
"Hey, Hey--"
WHAP!
And before the next one in line to retort could finish, Touku received a punch to the head and Gold was given a kick to the stomach that sent them both tumbling to the ground with a yelp. The raven haired girl moved a hand to grip at her stomach in pain while the brunette lifted a hand to hold the side of his head.
"Ren, what the heck was that for!" Touku whined childishly. "That hurt!"
"Silv, you too!" Gold added, pointing at the redhead accusingly. "Were were just playing a game like--"
She was silenced by the slamming of Silver's hand on the table as she stood up and gripped the back of the chair she was sitting on. Red did the same, though her hand moved to grip at the clock on the table. As soon as both girls turned to give the playful duo a stare, it automatically felt as if the temperature dropped a few degrees. They had never seen such accurate facial depictions of Satan's face in the lives.
"...You know what, I suddenly got really hungry, haha~" The breeder declared as she pushed herself up from the floor. Grabbing Touku's arm to help him up, she ran her arm through his as she forced him to turn with her towards the exit, offering a quiet laugh. "Hey, Touku buddy, you come with! We can play some Mario Kart and I can kick your ass at that too."
"I don't think y'can, but sure, let's go!"
With that, the two left the lab to leave Silver and Ren standing at the table, making them both either sigh or shake their heads.
"How do we even know people like them..." Ren mumbled, bringing a hand to her forehead in exasperation.
"I will never know." Silver replied before sitting back down to resume their game.
