Star trek pollspersonal blog: pollen-over-ponds You can suggest questions to be made into polls! Please let me know if you want credit for the question or want to remain anonymous. The best part is the dialogue in the tags & notes.
I have strong opinions about this, and you may too. But if you add notes / comments please remember every one of these series has die hard fans who adore the show.
No room for I liked them all / other movies! Argh, tumblr, please give us just a few more poll options!
GOOD AFTERNOON!! TODAYS UNI SKETCH IS : a redraw/study/doodle/whateva you wanna call it of this very dapper image of Picard and Data!! first time drawing Picard so I struggled a lil but otherwise I had so much fun drawing Data! :Pc og pic under the cut!
picard you smoke too tough... your swag too different ...
Keep in mind there are SO MANY characters in star trek there’s no way to include as many characters as deserve to be here. If you have respectful suggestions, I’d be happy to turn them into a follow up poll!
Personally I love Picard’s hand gesture when he says engage, Riker’s head lean into the direction he’s turning, Sisko fiddling with his baseball, and Data moving his eyes like he’s reading when he pulls up information internally. But I know those aren’t big famous moves :)
Btw - if you want to see if but haven’t gotten around to it, you should go watch it now! It’s continuation is in a precarious state and could use the support.
For bonus points share one thing you wish would have happened in that extra season
Edit: So many comments about Prodigy not being on here! Well, I am a Prodigy fan too. But I left it off because last I heard Netflix picked it up. Now I don’t have faith it will happen, but nonetheless there is at least one more season planned and maybe more.
On the other hand, even though the last seasons of discovery & lower decks haven’t finished airing, they both have planned end dates.
Never forget that in Peter David's New Frontier novels (and comics), the ancient immortal character Morgan Primus is vaguely implied to be every single one of Majel Barrett's onscreen Trek characters.
And she's the mother of Robin Lefler.
And then the immortal is finally killed and... actually ends up becoming the ship's computer consciousness, after an earlier Peter David novel established that the Majel computer voice was in fact Number One programming the Enterprise computer with her own voice.
Obviously it doesn't work in a modern Trek world where Number One and Nurse Chapel definitely aren't the same person and are on Pike's Enterprise crew together
