i did not realize the st. mark's day post was a reference to a book and thought you were actually celebrating st. mark's day. and i was about to ask if you're catholic because i always thought you were protestant for some reason?? anyway i was reading that post trying to figure out if it was referring to traditions done on st. marks day and now i'm curious, what's the context ??

firstly, I am protestant!! lutheran, specifically, but I haven't consistently gone to lutheran church in years. so.

on the St. Mark's Day part, it was about the raven cycle! the way it ties in is kinda difficult to explain because it's an absolutely insane series I could never summarize. but essentially, on the eve of St. Mark's Day, this family can see the spirits of those who will die in the next year? and the main character sees another one of the main characters, and it's like one of the big starting events for the whole series, but it's SO hard to explain well 😭
