this was my favourite event last year, you should definitely apply if you're in Scotland and make stories! (also I am doing the poster art, look, they let me draw goblins)

It's a year today since I got the keys for my flat! I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to be a homeowner, so I want to mark the occasion by giving to people who are without the safety and comfort a home should provide.
Shop Link
My itch store has digital copies of all my books (for half the price of print copies) including several that are now out of print. It is also the only place to get the special digital versions of my goblin zines, which have loads of art and writing you can't get elsewhere!
I hope you'll consider getting some of my silly little books to help an important cause, this felt like the best way to mark the aniversary of getting a home of my own, as I don't have much money to give hopefully donating my shop income will help boost the difference it makes!
Come see me, @pppondi and @EllJWalker at Carlisle Zine Fest this saturday! We've not done this one before so we're excited for an adventure to na crìochan!
Did a wee shop update! New in my store are a tshirt with a lot of earwigs on it, plus big colourful stickers of my boar design and a boto dolphin. I'm also running low on Owl People book 1, Saint begone and boar t-shirts, so get them before they run out if you'd like one!
Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by, took part in the stamp rally, or just chatted, and especially to my amazing pals who make me want to make weird art!
see you in a couple of weeks at Carlisle Zine Fest!
Lo, adventurers! My friends and I will be at Dundee's Deecon this Saturday, and our party was split between two buildings. If you'd like to win some cool prizes, complete Great Wizard Gary's Stamp Rally and invoke the ancient stamp runes to unite our party together once more!
Deecon is this Saturday!!! I'll be in bonar hall, table 59, with a bunch of pals, and this year we're doing a wee stamp rally! can you reunite our stranded party and get some kickass prizes?
Also, I'll have a brand new earwig shirt, goblin zines, and new stickers!
Getting ready for Deecon next week in Dundee! I'll be in Bonar hall, with a bunch of cool people, and we've made a little quest for you all! Fill up our stamp rally to get some cool prizes!
I'll also have new stickers, goblin zines and prints! It's gonna be great!
Hey guess what! I'm running a wee Easter sale in my Etsy: ending on the 1st!! Now THAT'S an April fool!!! Hahaha idk what I'm saying, just look at my stuff if you like, it's cheaper than usual (20% cheaper)
I actually looked up the book these photos are from cos it's uhhh relevant to a current project, and these beautiful boar are by Sally Matthews, from a sculpture project called "Wild boar Clearing" made in Grizedale Forest, Cumbria, UK from 1987-89. The source given above is actually a book of garden and botanical sculpture by Paul Cooper, who is an accomplished artist and garden designer but didn't make these awesome boar.
You can still see the remains of some of her sculptures from this forest residency here!
fun fact, the capercaillie's name comes from an old gaelic name for it that roughly translates to "forest horse." They're extremely endangered in the UK due to habitat disruption and I hope one day to meet the forest horse.
Also the willow grouse here is called the ptarmigan (tarmachan in gàidlig) and is also very at risk due to climate change.
