So, it's been a while again, but just writing with an update on where I'm at fandom-wise.
I've been working on a massive edit of the existing installments of The Bound Series. This has included changing everything in the first two parts to first-person present tense, and fixing old inconsistencies in the plot, as well as some grammatical and prose issues that I've wanted to solve for quite some time.
I'll notify here when I've completed that particular part of the project, but I'm also getting reintroduced to my version of the Tracys and Co, and I'm really happy with where I'm headed. I've also been slowly reworking elements of the plot to fit more completely with my TAG stories, so once I've done that I'd encourage everyone to do a re-read if you'd like to see these changes in effect.
It's an absolute pleasure to be back in fandom, even as behind-the-scenes as this is. Planning for future stories and chapters feels so natural and I've missed it desperately. I'm really excited to see how it all turns out and to share it all with everyone.
I cannot express how much I adore this sweet wholesome enthusiastic library nerd and his videos. I've seen the tag "hopepunk" a few times and idk what that means exactly, but I'm pretty sure mychal3ts (and librarians in general) embodies it.
Reblog if you love AO3 and appreciate their volunteers who are working harder than God, fighting battle after battle, making sure the place that is a safe space for every fandom is staying up and running for all of us
“Let’s see where that schematic is,” Virgil murmured. “Then I can figure out what colors it should have.”
That morning, Jeff had announced that the Mole prototype was going into full pod vehicle service. “I took your recommendations into consideration, and I agree that it has potential beyond the Bangkok rescue.” He had even accepted Gordon’s choice of name. “Mostly because I can’t think of anything better,” he had grumbled.
I love this! Especially the pencil sketch of Kayo, John, and Scott! You really captured the show's look!
Some of my OLD Thunderbirds fan art 🙈 The first three are from 8 years ago… @idontknowreallywhy wanted me to share them with the rest of the Thunderbirds Are Go fans 🙃 They’re a LITTLE embarrassing and the photo quality is AWFUL… but oh well.
I was a traditional artist back then ☺️💕
The last picture of Kayo is my most recent piece, so you can compare 🌷
I saw that there was something called “Kapril” going around, where you draw Kayo in April. I decided to participate because I used to draw TAG characters all the time! 😭 I can’t believe it’s been eight years… if you had told me then that I would still be drawing TAG characters in 8 years… 🫠
Oh gosh, the de-dread-ifying of the Dreen continues apace. Agatha has somehow cowed them into NOT having an epic battle, but only SAYING they did. In one panel.
May you write 1,500 words with ease. May your characters be lively and not cardboard. May you need little editing. May your muse visit you as soon as you sit. May the Internet not distract you much. May your phone lie dormant while you write.
