SM CITY GENERAL SANTOS: They've Got It All For Us!
If you are living here in the Philippines, a city wouldn't be a city without a SM Mall. Mr. Henry Sy wouldn't be the richest man of the country for nothing, don't you think?
So it's no surprise that everyone here were happy when SM City General Santos opened its doors last August 10, 2012. The mall was very packed with people during its opening week but really, that was expected. So we waited for like five days for the "SM Mania" to tone down so that we can freely look around the mall and take pictures without the hassle of a big crowd.
This is such a late post, we know, but we hope you'll still enjoy. =)

We had lunch at the food court and we noticed the "barricade". Fast foods should be like this so that even if you are eating along a large crowd, there is still privacy. Thumbs up!

Let's take a walk outside!
When night came, we watched the fountain as it changed its color.
Our feet were sore from walking around the mall the entire afternoon but it was worth it. Welcome SM Gensan! You'll surely change the Generals' lifestyle.
High fives and heart hadoukens,
The Sunny Owls, in shutterlights :)

Toni, Staven and I all love these marble sculptures. We personally call them the "3D" sculptures because they are protruding out of the frame. Haha.

School Break, Furniture and Coffee
We've been studying in our university for almost three years now, but it was only last Wednesday that Toni and I had the chance to gallivant around the establishments along the university vicinity. Too bad, Staven had an important engagement so he wasn't able to come with us.
Anyway, we first explored the newly renovated PG Building along the National Highway situated right in front of our university.
What makes this building catchy, are the magnificent chandeliers and furniture that you can see through the clear and huge window glass even from a far.
Upstairs of the building is the showroom of M Tanoy Concepts. We cannot disclose too much information about this awesome establishment and we weren't allowed to take pictures of the furniture yet for some reasons, but one thing's for sure, their creations and furniture are way beyond awesome and classy!
Afterwards, Toni and I went to ECA Building. It's only a few huge steps away from PG Building.
Inside the compound, we found a quaint coffe shop, Cafe Amoree.
No one was inside so the atmosphere was really cozy plus cool interiors!
Comfy velvety purple couch!
Fancy ceiling piece.
The menu.
Mouthwatering you say? ;)
I had Cookies n' Cream Frappucino while Toni had Mocha Frappucino. Slurp!
Toni's red pointy shoe. Foolin' around while killin' some time.
The frapp was good. The ambiance was nice.
And so the next day, we invited our other friends to hang-out there too! Haha.
There are just times when it's really good to find a small niche to be away from anything and chill-out even for awhile before attending grueling hours of classes.
'Twas a nice Wednesday!
High fives and heart hadoukens,
The Sunny Owls <3
