Lux et Tenebrae is an au Marauders Era roleplay. In 1985, a year after the First Wizarding War has drawn to a close, witches and wizards seek balance as they traverse a new age of fallacious peace and political intrigue. But echoes of The Dark Lord continue to haunt the air, and his life not wholly dispelled, lurks in the shadows, gathering strength to rise again.
Originally established in February, we are a small group excited to expand to a broader audience on jcink, and look forward to welcoming all who join us as we reopen to the public.

sage slaughter had been raised with no structure and no rules for her entire life, a chronic mistake maker and just an all around erratic mess. she’s been in and out of fort lauderdale, but her longest stint in las vegas is what brings us to this request. she needs her estranged husband who she left around three months ago and by left i mean he went to jail/prison for a crime he either didn’t commit or was so small it wasn’t a lot of jail time and she just upped and disappeared. he’s now tracked her down to fort lauderdale where she is now living. of course, there’s a few issues with that, a big part of it is that nobody knows about the marriage including her sisters and friends. it’s all going to be a bit…complicated. anyways! he’s like the black cat to her raccoon vibes and entirely needed!

Complicated, casual fwb for an ice hockey player (mlm) for an organic plot where they navigate iffy territory. There’s a mix bag of potential stories and interests so this is open to development & organic chemistry.

Having opened in early Feb 2024, we are excited to be nearing our third month of play! We are a dark fantasy ACOTAR AU roleplay loosely based on the book series 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' by Sarah J Maas.
Currently our major plot vibes with the first book where an evil Queen has taken over and is generally causing chaos and strife through all the courts and for the High Lords. The theme generally follows a fantasy tone when it comes to buildings and clothing with modern ish touches like indoor plumbing, heating and lighting that runs on magic. We encourage creativity for our members to make up quests, fight beasts and RP out some exciting adventures.
