MIGUEL O’HARA X GN!READER

Throwing open the door to your apartment, you kicked off your shoes and took of your coat. You rub your sore heels that had become red and raw from the shoes you’d worn all day, likely to blister.

Turning the key to lock the door, you threw your bag haphazardly onto the counter.

Dragging your fingers across your face you shuffled your way over to the couch; hoping your clothes didn’t get caught on anything… especially with the day you’ve had.

You flopped down on the couch with an exasperated sigh, grabbing one of the thro pillows on the couch and covering your face with it did little to lighten your mood. The sound of shuffling in the kitchen made you move the pillow to look at who it was… and just as you’d though, it was Miguel, your husband, holding two plates of steaming patatas bravas.

“Welcome home, mí amada. I made you some dinner…” He spoke softly coming over to the couch and setting a plate in front of you on the coffee table. “I’m not very hungry right now.” You huffed stubbornly, pressing the pillow back against your face.

The pillow was soon lifted from your grasp, your gaze meeting Miguel’s as he looked at you with that damn smile.. the one where his eyes were half-lidded and one corner of his mouth quirked up and a dimple barely visible. “We both know that’s not true, Mí amada.”

Huffing at his statement, you begrudgingly grabbed your fork, stabbing one of the potato’s and eating it. As much as you hate to admit, Miguel’s cooking always made you so hungry.

Curling your legs you allowed Miguel to sit next to you on the couch while you lifted the plate closer, eating one piece at a time. “Told you that you were hungry,” he chided playfully, only to be met with a pillow to the face.

Miguel snorted and tossed the pillow off of him, eating his noticeably larger portion of food.

You finished your food before him, waiting patiently. He seemed to notice, as he ate a bit quicker before setting your dirty dishes on top of each other to put in the sink later.

You crawled towards Miguel, settling yourself against him and laying your head against his collarbone with a sigh. “bad day, Mí vida?” He asked softly, wrapping his muscular arms around you and letting one hand scratch your scalp. All you could do was mumble a quiet “mhm” in response.

“It’s okay Mí amada. Would you like to talk about it?” You shifted your head a bit to get more comfortable, listening to the rhythm of his heartbeat as his nails massaged your scalp. “No… I’m feeling better with you here.” Miguel kissed the crown of your head.

A quiet ping sounded and Lyla’s small holographic figure hovered above Miguel.

“Hey, Miggy, make sure y-“ she was about to nag until she looked at your sleeping figure.

“Not now, Lyla. I’ll do that later. For now, just leave me with Mí amada.” Miguel waved off the AI, to which she shrugged and disappeared in a shrub of pixels.

“Good night, Mí amada.”

I got my first request from a really good friend of mine that we agreed would be a good gift for someone who’s been working really hard and hasn’t been feeling the best I’ll be doing their next request which is Spider Noir!

she's been tied at the hip of lily bae ever since lily moved to new york and they do everything together- literally everything. they wear the same make up brands, enjoy lagree together and like the same iced coffee flavours. hayley (place holder name) comes from another prominent family (career field is totally open!) and is a new york native. she was originally one of lily's followers on her instagram and by chance ran into her in a pilates class and they've been around each other ever since. the problem? hayley's been in love with lily since the moment she met her.

in fact it doesn't really help that the line between friends and more than friends is constantly blurred between these two. they sleep in each other's beds and lily has been known to put her first above whoever shes dating but that's a constant problem in their friendship. lily has the worst taste in significant others and falls headfirst into whatever new relationship she's pursuing meanwhile hayley has to sit on the sidelines while things inevitably crash and burn. why she hasn't spoken up about her feelings? who knows but finally that's about to change.
