According to the coordinates on certificate they show in GMM 456, Linkstar is located in the constellation Vela.

*Boopity Boop Boop* tells me that not only is this a constellation of the southern sky but that it is part of a group of constellations that in, Latin mean “Sail” or “Ship”, Rhett’s familiar ancestors were sailors.

So, in short, Rhett gave himself to Link, in the form of a star... <3

link’s favorite things about rhett

the way his eyes crinkle when he’s really really happy

when his face goes red and he does the “ho ho ho” laugh– it fills link with warmth and a feeling of accomplishment. he caused that laugh. what more could he want?

his clammy hands that can (and do) totally envelop link’s, letting everyone know that they are awesome bfs

the way his hair, though usually so stiff, gives way and fluffs out after only a few run throughs of link’s fingers

when he gets shy and tries to make himself smaller, hunching his shoulders up, looking away, leaning into link’s hand on his shoulder. the way he lets link protect him.

the way his voice cracks and fades when they stay up too late, laughing and talking and dreaming big together like they always have and always will.

rhett’s favorite things about link

when his laugh goes high pitched and he leans back in his chair. rhett knows this is the most genuine laugh link has, and he will do just about anything to hear it

he’s always fiddling with something– his hair, his hands, his shirt– but rhett loves it when link fiddles with rhett’s hair or rhett’s hands or rhett’s shirt.

the way link’s head fits just right on his shoulder

the way he’ll pour his heart out into harmonizing to a song, his head thrown back and a smile stretched wide and pure over his features.

the way, in singing and in other things, link builds rhett up and keeps him at his best like no one else can.

when link pulls away from a kiss, his eyes glittering. when they both know that it’s still as electric and wholesome as their first, and that it’s always going to be that way.
