Thinking about being an artist- and damn is this shit hard sometimes. I love creating (mainly writing and drawing), but it's strange how easy it is to get swamped in that creative process. Even more so when you share your art publicly like this. But I wouldn't trade it for the world, all the practice and time I've put into being a creative is so worth the product- having fun things that I made that I'm proud to say 'look, I made this!' Anyhow- remember to take it easy, slow down, and drink water!

I plunged my hands into the basin, feeling the cold water on my burning flesh. Crying out in anguish, I trembled. Driven mad by the taste. Oh, how sweet it was. How beautiful the flesh. I tried to wash the blood from my cracked skin, the grime from beneath my fingernails. It was so alien a sensation. To stare into the glass back at myself. To see the blood upon my face, smearing around my mouth. The maw from which I derived cruelty onto my own inferences. The red poured into the basin from my trembling hands. I reached up and ran one through my wayward hair, deep gray, almost white in the harsh light. The thick blood mingled with my sweat, caking my hair in viscera. I had rubbed my hands raw in the once pristine basin, now tainted by the liquid filth. I would have to clean it, and much of my apartment.
